Hello fellow Stardusts, hope your day has been well! With the four year anniversary of Black Moon being only a few months away, I was thinking back on how far our boys have come since the first time we met them: the survival show. The tears that were cried, the laughs we shared, and the way fandom came together to vote for the boys when they needed it will always be monumental for both our boys and Stars.

For my baby Stars, our boys were placed on the survival show ROOKIES! as trainees representing Arc Entertainment in 2019. Why was this such a big deal back then? Well, Arc is mostly known for its actors and girl groups, and despite their brother group EON being chart toppers, everyone assumed that they would be sending female trainees to participate in the show. Instead, they sent eight male trainees to represent them. It had a lot of people talking and the hype back then for the show was so, so real. We had no idea it was going to happen because even in Arc's official twitter post they only mentioned that they would be participating in the show but gave no other details about who they were sending. It was a wild time but it was so fun and exciting despite the drama and speculation and it gave us our beloved fated eight disasters (affectionate).

Let me tell you now, the show was so good but super painful to watch. As a pre-debut Star watching them face their hardships in real time caused so many tears and emotions. Our boys captured our hearts quickly, and I was super emo during every episode. Now it's been almost four years and our boys show no signs of stopping, so I think I can finally sit back down and do a solid re-watch without crying (lol yeah right).

I won't leave you guys hanging, I wouldn't be Stormie if I did. I'm going to be blogging my feelings about the re-watch and taking you on along the ride with me. If you want to watch it for yourself, the eps are still up on the Mnet youtube channel. The playlist is here.
