kylo hadn’t even wanted to attend the ball, but snoke thought it would be an opportune time to gather more first order initiatives. that is, if anyone was even half-interested. he had yet to find anyone that would he deemed worthy of joining their mission. it was hard to find anyone on truman that wasn’t some happy-go-lucky idiot, and the ones he did deem worthy seemed to be busy with their own schemes or not interested in joining up at all. 

so, kylo sat at a corner table. not amused in the slightest, and frankly, wishing he could just go home. when the lights had gone out, it gave him pause and he half wished he would have tucked his pistol into his waistband before leaving his shabby apartment. the murder wasn’t as surprising as he thought it would be, at least to himself. ( he did run with the first order, after all. how could any murder be a surprise ? it was a surprise if kylo didn’t hear or see about someone dying. ) the rest of the party guests were in quite a frenzy, panicked and even screaming. 

he sat back in his chair, his frown permanently etched onto his face. when a voice spoke up from near him, his eyes glanced the woman’s way. “are we suppose to be involved with this?” he grumbled, stretching out his legs and crossing them at his ankles. “to think this night wouldn’t get anymore irritating.” 

Halloween Starter - Felicity x [OPEN]

Felicity was sitting back, eating some halloween candy and enjoying the show now that the second body appeared.  “You have to give them credit, this is the best party I’ve been to.  I mean you get an urban legend to make an appearance and then have it become a murder mystery party?  I wasn’t expecting this.”  She laughed before admiring the chair she was sitting in.  “Plus the decor isn’t half bad either.  Feels a bit like home if you take out all the creepiness.”

[ client ] ⭄ this person is one of kylo’s clients that is constantly getting caught by the law and he has to bail out. he doesn’t harbor any hatred for them, but does find it a bit obnoxious how they keep getting caught, not that they are causing trouble.

[ close friend ] ⭄ this person is one of kylo’s closest friends on the island. most likely, they would have to be someone that isn’t that... great of a person lol. maybe, kylo even helped them out of a case once. 

[ enemies ] ⭄ someone that kylo despises. i would like to have some from both star wars and from other worlds as well. these two just don’t get along, and might even get into physical fights when seeing each other. 

[ actor ] ⭄ this person ( along with snoke ) keeps trying to convince kylo that his dreams are just that -- dreams. that his life on truman is his real life, and none of his canon life happened. he’s sort of suspicious of them, but doesn’t have much else against them. 

[ boxing partner ] ⭄ kylo regularly goes to the gym to let off some steam. maybe, he has some person there that hangs out with him or boxes with him a bit. they aren’t really friends, but it’s something. [ + Jack Napier / Joker ]

[ annoyance] ⭄ gets under kylo’s skin and makes him seethe with annoyance. could really be anyone. he thinks everything they do is annoying, absolutely everything. 

[ ex-friend ] ⭄ this person could be a friend of kylo’s before he ended up joining snoke’s crime syndicate. they could have not liked the path kylo was going, and couldn’t stay around to watch the outcome. [ + Mallory ]

[ negative influence ] ⭄ well, besides snoke and everyone in his syndicate, this person is a terrible influence on kylo. they are the ones that also keep instilling the beliefs of the ‘first order’ or could just be something silly like drinking all the time. [ + Jack Napier / Joker ]

[ flings ] ⭄ he’s never really “dated�� someone, but he’s had a few flings that never went anywhere because he never felt good enough, or he just didn’t like them all that much. they could hate each other, still have some sort of feelings, or are on friendly terms. 

[ positive influence ] ⭄ somehow, someway, this person has stuck around kylo. how have they done it? who knows. they are a good influence in his life, albeit a much smaller voice in his life. he usually never takes their advice and leaves them disappointed. 

[ drunk friends ] ⭄ kylo would never hang out with them if he was sober. usually, only ever seeing them when he’s having a drink or two. he can get along with them great while under the influence, but doesn’t seem to want to converse with them when he’s not. 

[ HAN SOLO ] ⭄ his father that he both hates, and has love for. snoke keeps telling him that he needs to purge this weakness from him, but kylo has yet to really understand what he means. he feels as if his father never loved him, and abandoned him. 

[ LEIA ORGANA ] ⭄ he has softer feelings for his mother. he still hates and loves her, but he’s just less aggressive about it. he believes that she didn’t love him either, and abandoned him. 

[ LUKE SKYWALKER ] ⭄ his uncle is what led to him running away at fifteen in his fake memories on truman. he felt as if his parents kept dumping him off at luke’s whenever they were too busy. absolutely hates him. 

[ ANAKIN SKYWALKER ] ⭄ kylo doesn’t really know of anakin in his truman life, but he has many dreams about his voice. in these dreams, he knows of darth vader and has idolized him. 

[ REY ] ⭄ kylo feels connected with her, but she is such a brilliant light and it burns him. he feels unworthy, he is unworthy. if his dreams are real, he has done nothing but cause her heartbreak.

As he heard the words escape from the male, Anakin languidly turned his frame around in refined movements. He held his gaze on him for a prolonged moment. The sith noted his black hair and harsh features, while also feeling the same conflict that Anakin himself has fought for so many years. Conflict, that could have saved his mom. Anakin dipped his head in a nod as the line of his lips stretched across his face in a tepid glance. 

“My name is Anakin Skywalker.” Immediately his eyes narrowed in disdain. “No, Darth Vader.”  The words parted from both brims of Anakin’s mouth, standing tall, with a looming and fierce scowl sitting across his cheeks. Anakin had been weak and the mere reason was the Jedi were holding him back, but Vader was stronger. More powerful than them all. He pushed his feet forward, as he began to approach the other male.

 It was too soon to determine whether this man was an alliance or an enemy. Anakin gripped his lightsaber that was hidden in his robe tightly. He sensed their uneasiness, and though he was not here for a fight, he would be prepared. “You are mistaken, we have never met before. Just as you are, I am far from my galaxy as well.” He spoke in a rigid tone. 

it was getting harder and harder to tell what was real, and what was a dream. in his dreams, he lived a different life but one that lead down the same path of darkness. he had caught snippets, of an old life. leia, han, luke, an academy, a villainous man -- darth vader. he can still remember the weight of the destroyed helmet in his hands. those dreams had felt so real, and the ghosts whispered to him to find the truth. yet, snoke continued to explain that they were just that -- dreams. 

still, kylo couldn’t help the stun expression that overcame his face at learning this was anakin skywalker -- this was darth vader. the voice in his dreams, this man ... ? in those very dreams, his mother had kept hidden his true heritage. oh, how he had his fury grown upon finding out in such a public way. ( but snoke had said it wasn’t real ! ) his eyes roved the young man’s face, taking note of the scar, the same dark eyes that kylo would see in the mirror. he was younger, though, and this utterly confused him even more. 

“grandfather.” he sputtered out, unable to hold it back. maybe, the dreams were real. maybe, he was going crazy. he quickly fell to his knees, staring up at the man he had been idolizing for most of another lifetime. the one he lived in his dreams. “i don’t understand.” kylo questioned, eyeing his surroundings now as he was starting to think this may just be another dream. “have you finally come to help me?” he asks, sounding like a lost child. “ — will i find a n s w e r s with you ? ”

kylo had felt something, something that he couldn’t exactly describe.  the  f o r c e  , his dreams would whisper. blurry apparitions floating in and out of view, they murmured to him about fantastical ideas and worlds beyond this island, beyond even this planet. it muddled his mind, clashed with his view on reality. there was this pull that kept tugging him forward, one foot in front of the other as he didn’t know exactly where he was going but that he would eventually arrive at where he was suppose to be. 

he finally came to a stop, the pull diminishing and being replaced with this flare of familiarity. a bridge seemingly being built between the gap of him and the man in front of him. a connection coming to life, and all of a sudden kylo could feel a darkness around him. a darkness that seemed to cage his own heart. “who are you ?” kylo asked, more demanded the identity of the man before him. he couldn’t place who this man was, but there was something about him. 

i think i’ve heard that voice in my  d r e a m s , his thoughts tell him. there was so much that he dreamed about, so many people that still haunted him in sleep. kylo narrowed his eyes, trying to decide whether this guy was a threat, or not. “what is this ... p u l l — ?”

Anakin’s feet gracefully glided forward, as he felt the brisk breeze gust against the lateral of his cheek. With moments passing, Anakin spun his body in a circle, seeing an unidentified older man. He took a heavy step forward. The brim of his mouth compressed tightly with no words spoken, instead, silence filled the space between the two.  Anakin’s hues glanced at the male with unsteadiness, while analyzing their movements with the force.  “ I sensed your presence.” He said in a rigid and stiff tone, as a grimace stretched across his features.

Anakin sensed the dark force with the other.  The Sith took another step forward, with a fierce gaze still filling his hues. Anakin instantly felt a pull with this man, a pull he had never felt with anyone before other than when he met Padme as a boy. He had been away from his planet for a while now and the though he was no longer a Jedi, he missed being in battle, fighting an opposition, droids or even traveling to different planets while seeking justice in the galaxy.

hello, it’s billy again! i love star wars so much, especially this new trilogy that comes to a close in december. i find kylo ren / ben solo to be such an interesting character and just had to apply for him. alright, let’s get on to his canon history!

C A N O N  H I S T O R Y ―

he is the son of han solo and leia organa. nephew to luke skywalker. grandson to anakin skywalker and padme amidala. he was born on the day the galactic concordance was signed. 

leia and han were often busy with their responsibilities. leia with her political career and han off being a smuggler. their busy lives often left ben with feelings of abandonment. 

growing up, ben had no idea of his true heritage. leia kept the truth from ben but planned to tell him when he was older. 

leia, noticing the similarities between her son and anakin skywalker, sent him to luke’s jedi academy in hopes that training could help him. (this didn’t help at all with ben’s feelings of abandonment, seemingly making it worse.)

he was targeted most of his life by an evil man -- snoke. he used ben’s feelings of abandonment as a tool to seduce him. snoke saw much potential in ben solo, and wanted the boy to become his apprentice.

the truth about leia’s parentage was revealed by her political enemies. she had yet to tell ben the truth, and worried about how he would react finding out about it in such a public way. 

luke skywalker began to notice the darkside in ben. one night, he went to a sleeping ben and reached out with the force to find such evil and corruption influencing ben. he saw everything he loved being destroyed and for a brief second, luke ignited his lightsaber intending to kill his nephew but the desire vanished instantly and he was left with guilt and shame.

ben awoke to his uncle standing over him with a lightsaber. he ended up using the force to bring the whole building on top of luke. he believes that luke failed him. 

he then begins to tear down everything that luke had created. ben massacred the other students and leaving the planet with a few students who had joined snoke, too. 

ben took the name “kylo ren” and became the apprentice of snoke, and also was the master of the knights of ren. he was trained by snoke, and eventually became super powerful and also idolized darth vader. 

kylo ren became invested in the first order, becoming an influential member.

years later, snoke and kylo ren realized that if luke skywalker and the jedi were ever to return that it would be a massive threat to all they were building with the first order. so, the search started for luke skywalker.

ending up finding poe dameron who had known about the map, and interrogated him and tortured him, basically. found that poe’s bb unit had the hidden map.

did a raid on takodana, where he tried to get the droid but it was saved by poe dameron. instead, he found a girl that had seen some of the map and decided to bring her with him instead. he brought her to starkiller base. 

he probed her mind, and eventually rey proved to be able to use the force and instead probed his mind. she saw that he was afraid he’d never be as strong as darth vader. rey later on escapes the interrogation room. 

han solo tries to reach for his son, but ben kills him (which weakens his spirit more. rendered unbalanced from the act.) and han drops into the abyss. chewie shoots ben, wounding him but not killing him. 

he has a duel in the forest where he loses. and star killer is destroyed. 

ends up having a force connection with rey, where they can feel each other’s feelings ? and memories ?. they start having some weird connection with each other, learning more about the other and rey believed he could turn to the light while he thought she could turn to the dark. 

he kills snoke for her, they fight the praetorian guard together. 

at the end, she asks him to stop the war and he proceeds to tell her to let the past die. she begs him not to go this way, but he’s not willing to change. they fight over the skywalker lightsaber which breaks in half and they both go unconscious. she wakes up before him, and leaves. doesn’t kill him.

he becomes supreme leader. follows the resistance to crait where they make their last stand against him and the first order. 

he confronts luke who apologizes and they fight. kylo tries to kill him, but luke had been force projecting himself the whole time. luke had bought time for the resistance to make their escape. 

he’s still searching for the resistance as of right now.

N O W ―

ben's fake life/fake memories still follows a dark path where he still ends up in snoke’s grasp. at fifteen he ran away from home, even trying to leave truman island but he doesn’t remember that since had had been zapped. after a few months of roaming around as far from his old neighborhood as he could get, he runs into snoke. 

snoke, seeing potential in young ben solo but also knows their (canon) history, takes him under his wing and gives him a brand new life. one where ben leaves that identity behind and becomes a new man, kylo ren. snoke puts him through law school, and kylo becomes a criminal defense lawyer in snoke’s employment. 

he’s still a bad guy, protecting bad people that live in truman. snoke is still manipulating him, albeit kylo doesn’t know their full history together. he hasn’t seen his family in years but sometimes he misses them -- a thought that he will quickly stomp out and maybe punch a wall until his knuckles bleed. 

although, he’s still sort of conflicted. with his memories slowly coming back, everything in his life is starting to spin and spiral. he doesn’t know what to believe and he can still feel the light trying to wiggle through the broken cracks in his heart. is this really the life he wanted?
