spn is so funny bc you’ll be watching the show and the fallen angel gets sent to heaven conversion therapy and lobotomized repeatedly to stop his feelings for one human being and then when he’s brainwashed and has said human beaten and bloody on his knees and they’re holding hands the human is begging not to live but for the angel to come back to him.

“I need you,” he says, and it gets through to the angel.

then the season gag reel comes out and the actors are fucking around and say “you’re my baby daddy” and “i love you too” and and trying to shove one guy’s face into the other’s crotch.

then the script for the episode makes the rounds and you find out the already devastating “i need you” was originally “i love you”

then you go to a convention and someone asks about chemistry between the characters and they call you a sick freak and put you in gay jail for having impure thoughts about the Very Heterosexual men on tv.

then years later they allegedly pay for research where they allegedly had people rate the gayness of this exact scene to get the public’s opinion on hypothetically making this relationship explicitly gay. Allegedly.

leitmotifs never get old to me like holy shit dude there’s this melody that corresponds to this one guy and if you hear the melody it means the guy is there. holy shit. and sometimes it refers to ideas too not just guys. has anyone heard about this

Kevin is the epitome of do it scared.

He escapes the nest. He slides into an assistant coach role. He steps back onto an exy court with his nondominant hand. He grabs Riko’s arm when he goes after Neil at Kathy’s show. He keeps choosing the Foxes over Riko and the Ravens — publicly and privately. He covers his tattoo. He finds a new home for Jean. He topples the king in his own castle using the hand Riko broke.

He does it all. Drunk off his ass most of the time and terrified all of it, but he does it. And that fear is called cowardice because he buckles under the weight of it. But Kevin Day does it.

the crazy part about destiel is they did fall in love over and over again. cas lost his memories. dean saved cas’ jacket even tho cas was dead. sam had to hold dean back when cas sacrificed himself in the apocalypse universe. dean specifically went to find cas in the endverse. he wouldn’t leave purgatory until he found cas. cas betrayed all of heaven, everything he’s ever known for thousands of years, because of dean.

but that only happened in ONE universe. they only found each other like that in a single universe, out of the hundreds that chuck made. it’s so tragic bc it’s the opposite of every single “I love you in every universe” soulmate trope. but in that one universe, they love each other over and over and over again, through death.

Caught the “thinking about those gay CW bitches” disease again, specifically about the lines “Don’t ever change” and “You changed me Dean”. It seems like a bit of an oxymoron, but I’ll put on my dropped-out-of-science hat and say that both states can remain true

Not changing is the embodiment of what Dean needs in a life that never lets him rest. Don’t change. Don’t leave me, stay right here. Stay the way you are, the way I adore. Keep the way you feel about me forever. Don’t change, even when everything I ever know changes. Be my constant while the world chews me up and spits me out. Don’t change.

And for Cas, change is the most powerful force in the universe to an angel not meant to be capable of it. You changed me- a blind solider meant only to follow orders. You changed me into something better. You changed me into myself. You changed me into seeing the world as new. You surprised me, you found me, you changed me. Loving you has changed me.
