just a heads up to my fellow writers out there that AO3 is currently fighting off bots commenting on people’s works to tell them that AO3 will delete their fics “due to the works being deprecated”, and the deletion will affect their accounts unless the authors delete the fics themselves first. IT IS A SCAM. AO3 will NOT delete your works. please do NOT fall for these bots!

I’ve been told the reason why these bots are doing this is due to copyright infringement issue where they’re trying to steal your works (possibly to train AI but this is just a guess) ‼️‼️‼️and once you deleted your fics, it will be either very difficult or impossible for you to claim ownership of your own fics when they were already deleted.‼️‼️‼️

I really love how Ian only wants to raise a child with Mickey. From the very beginning, Ian was never someone who obsessed over the idea of a baby. Of course, he truly loves his little brother Liam. But the moment Ian became fixated not on family, but on a baby—that moment began with Yevgeny. And the reason he became so obsessed with Yevgeny was because Yevgeny was Mickey’s child.

In Season 5, Ian’s possessiveness toward Mickey and his attachment to Yevgeny became entangled with his mental illness, and he genuinely began to believe that Yevgeny was his and Mickey’s child. In other words, he began to believe they were a family. That was the beginning of Ian’s longing for our baby—Mickey and my baby.

That’s why every time I see Ian in S10,11 wanting 'our baby', it makes me happy, but also a little sad—and honestly, it’s complicated. I’m certain that when Ian was in relationships with other men, not once did he feel that kind of yearning for their baby.

Even if Gallavich had never gotten married, I truly believe Ian still would’ve asked Mickey if they could raise a baby together. Not because he simply liked kids, but because raising 'our child' together—our child with us together—that’s what it’s really about.

Our home. Our baby. Just us. Just Ian and Mickey. He tried to give it up so many times out of fear of himself, but how long had Ian been yearning for this?

I really, truly love them.

1) I would have gotten some kind of email from Ao3 if this was true

2) this comment is formatted to be perfect to tack onto any fic they choose

3) ALSO why on earth would Ao3 get rid of entire fandoms off the site? Even if they WERE inactive? Who knows if others will be ‘late’ to the fandom and want some fic to read. Who knows if someone wants to come back to their 6 year old account only to find most of their fics deleted.

I’m lucky to be a reasonable adult who has seen tricks like these who also had a very kind person comment their own doubts.
