masculinity is a prison, time doesn’t exist, gender isn’t real, virginity is a construct, and Jesus wasn’t white.

In my freshman year of high school, we had a new history teacher. His name was Mr. Taylor, and he was ridiculously hot. He was just out of college–this was his first teaching job–and he was one of those people that you look at and think “shouldn’t you be modelling somewhere?” On top of being gorgeous, he  was also kind, funny, a great teacher, and a huge Lord of the Rings nerd, and the student body worshiped him.
This was a small, private school, and there were only two sections of freshman World History, and he taught both of them. He constantly complained that one section was ahead of the other. As the year progressed, the gap between the two sections widened–as midterms approached, one section was in the medieval period and the other was still lagging at the end of the Roman empire.
Both sections were meant to sit the same exam, so he couldn’t just move up the midterm and have one class sit it first. He needed to get both classes into the same time period.
So for the week before midterms, he hurried the slower class into the middle ages, and went in to depth with the other. He discussed battles in detail, drew regional maps on the white board, and even diagrammed the lineage of the king of Noldor. The class, of course, took diligent notes and asked questions. Everyone wanted to impress him and did their best to learn the material.
During the last class before the midterm, he reviewed the material he’d taught for most of the term, but didn’t touch on any of the things he’d been teaching for the last week.
Finally, one student asked if any of the stuff he’d been teaching for the last week was going to be on the exam.
“No,” he said, “The contents of the Silmarillion will not be on the exam.”
There was a moment of silence while everyone sat there, confused. Someone eventually went “…what??”
Mr. Taylor grinned. “Yeah, I needed to keep you guys busy while the other class caught up, so for the last week I’ve just been teaching Lord of the Rings history. I can’t believe none of you noticed. You need to pay more attention to geography.”
The class was, unsurprisingly, outraged. Mr. Taylor just laughed.

Funny Story: One day this guy came into the restaurant I was managing at the time, and all the girls started losing their minds over him. I was confused because this guy was like, in his mid-40′s, and when I asked them what was up, they told me he played the father of their favorite teen heartthrob on this show called Teen Wolf.
“Like the Michael J Fox movie from the 80′s??” I replied, confused as ever as to how this man, could have possibly played Michael J Fox’s father so many years ago, and why these 16 year olds were thirsting after Michael J. Fox.
“No, we don’t know who that is” they continued, “this is a show on MTV, and it’s about this werewolf Scott, but he has this best friend named Stiles, whose supposed to be the geek but he’s TOTALLY hot and funny, and we’re all obsessed with him and THAT’S HIS DAD!!!!!” they  screamed in unbearably loud teenage squeals.
“Alright,” I shrugged, thinking I couldn’t pass this moment up for my staff, and walked over, thanked the man for dining with us, and cautiously asked if he would mind signing and autograph for the girls who love his show, Teen Wolf.
“It’s cause of Dylan, isn’t it?”  he joked, as he signed the napkin graciously. Handing it back to me, I didn’t know who “Dylan” was, but I assumed it was the heartthrob who played the hot geek on this show. I went to deny the obvious, but he cut me off– ”it’s always cause of Dylan! I’ll tell him you girls say hello!!”
We talked a little more, and he left a fantastic tip for his server. Genuinely one of, if not THE nicest celebrity i’ve ever met–even though I had no idea who he was at the time.
That night, I decide to check out this so called Teen Wolf show. It was still airing at the time–I think maybe in it’s second or third season. I’m pretty sure I caught up in a single day. I was hooked from the pilot.
And that, my friends, is how we got here, and how I came to fall in love with Dylan O’Brien. I owe it all, to Linden Ashby.

when Elle was supposed to get engaged, none of the girls were jealous, they were genuinely happy for her n helped her get ready for the big dinner
when her bf broke up with her they were supportive
when Elle says she wants to go to harvard the counselor lady is like but ur major is fashion, do u have any backup plan? n elle is like nope im going to harvard n the lady is like okay then here’s what u gotta do.
