Follow Forever

Since some days ago I’ve surpassed a personal milestone on Tumblr after roughly a year, there are so many people I’d like to thank for making my Tumblr experience truly incredible. Thank you!

It all started on the 31st of August 2016 after a very emotional farewell match of Bastian Schweinsteiger, a football player I and so many of us grew up with. Creating a Tumblr, of course, didn’t stop him from retiring from international football but it was a great feeling to find so many people with the same passion for football and I never even thought this insignificant blog could change my life for the better as cliché as it may sound. Before I’ll come to my follow forever, I’d like to thank some of you in special: Honourable mentions: I can’t start this follow forever without thanking @robertlewandovski for creating an amazing network, @robertlewandowskinetwork and even more amazing people: @halabellerin , @oblaks , @lewysansatan , @batplusbleu , @9ewandowski , @pollersbae , @fclewandowski , @lewadnowski , @xhakaboom , @lewangoalski, @hummxlz , @liebandowski and @miasanmannschaft Thank you for the great live blog and some of the best conversations. :D I can’t end the honourable mentions without mentioning the following four people who have encouraged and helped me so much. Shout out to: @byernx , @dramatsfc , @dybalaholland, and @fclewandowski I don’t know where I’d be without the four of you, it all started out with a random idea to create a WhatsApp group chat and kind of escalated (but in the best way possible). @fclewandowski : Nina, as I’m writing this I have no idea where to start other than wishing you a happy birthday, you are the only person I know who shares their birthday with the one and only Fußballgott. ;) Happy Birthday to one of the most amazing people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet and I think we can all agree on you being an incredible friend. I want to start off by thanking you for everything, we can literally talk about the most random things ever but at the same time, we can discuss serious things too. You are always way too kind to me and I definitely don’t deserve you. (Don’t fight it) I wish you could see how talented, amazing, pretty and intelligent you are because everyone else does. You always put your friends first, you sacrifice sleep when your friends are in a bad place just to make sure they are alright. You would try everything to make the people you care about smile and make sure they are happy. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend than you.  I admire your writing, your determination and most importantly your optimism that one day everything will make sense. I basically admire you so much and please always remember that you deserve the world because people like you are rare, unfortunately. Sometimes even though I don’t feel like talking to annoy, I still enjoy talking to you because I just know afterwards I’ll smile again. I think you are probably the most selfless and kindest person I’ve ever gotten to know, no matter what you are going through, you always make people feel good about themselves. Also, you inspired me to write and made me rediscover how amazing writing is and we both know your writing could really bring it very far one day. Remember that your worth isn’t determined by anyone and please never give up on your dreams especially writing, you know I’m dying to read your book. You definitely have the best taste in music and TV shows, you always come up with the best jokes and have a beautiful gift to make people feel so much better instantly. You build people up and I think that shows how great and confident of a person you are, you don’t need to put other people down to shine. Out of all people, I really believe in you succeeding and no matter how many times you love making jokes about my home country, you know deep down you are always welcome here. I remember that you were one of the first blogs I started following and quickly became one of my favourite blogs and almost a year later, you are one of my best friends. I hope you have a legendary day and always remember that you deserve the world. (And remind me to stop betting on beer with you) @byernx : Sofia, you are the next person I can’t find the right words for, coming from a writer you should feel very honoured. I remember how you mentioned me on your first follow forever and I felt so incredibly honoured because you are such an amazing person. And then I texted you and remember how we both thought that we are horrible at texting and that this friendship would end before it even started? Obviously, it didn’t and I could have never imagined that a person who lives more than 9,000 km away could have such a great impact on my life and become one of my best friends.  As cliché, as it may sound but you inspired me a lot and your knowledge is just beyond incredible, the way you talk about your passions simply fascinates me. I wish you could see how funny, pretty, intelligent and kind you are-, you are the kind of friend that gives the best advice, is incredibly selfless and extremely tough. You are most likely the strongest person I know and I couldn’t write my follow forever without putting you into the honourable mentions, you have every right to be there. You have helped me so much in the past few months and you never fail to make me laugh with your love for hilarious memes. And please always remember that you are capable of so much and that I believe in you, you have a way of seeing the beauty in things and people. You can find the good in tough situations and you let it strengthen. You have never been a person to give up and always remember that you mean a lot to people. No matter how much I love roasting your national team at times, you always know you have my back.  I mean sure it’s not always easy with the time differences and the distance but you are definitely the kind of friend who’s worth it. You are so mature, witty and intelligent, you are very thoughtful and perfect to have deep conversations with but at the same time I always have a great time with you. I know the past few days weren’t easy but you really deserve good things coming your way and I’m convinced great things will happen to you.  @dybalaholland : Karen, you are such an outgoing and easy-going person and I immediately felt comfortable talking to you. You are so much fun and have a great taste in football player and some of our favourite conversations are the ones in which we fangirl over certain football players. I admire you so much and look up to you, your snaps are on point and so is your German. I’m so glad to be your friend. @dramatsfc : Mocha, you are just the kind of person people immediately “click” with and I think that’s beautiful. You are hilarious, write incredible fanfictions and are always very supportive. As your sis, I have to admit that I’m highkey envy of your make up skills and your memes, along with Sofi, you have always the best memes for every situation. I always have such a great time talking to you, thank you. I think the moment I found out you love himym just as much as I do, that was when our friendship started. I just want to thank all of you for welcoming me that warmly and making me feel like a part of this wonderful, sometimes a bit dramatic community but I don’t have any regrets. I love seeing your posts appearing on my dash and even though I suck at staying in touch that doesn’t mean I don’t care about you. ———————————————————————————————————–
