Heyyy, good morning, afternoon or evening! I have a question that might be a little obvious, but I just wanted to understand a little more about the fanfic... (So sorry for the mistakes I might do, English is not my first language.)

The Obsession Fanfic is not gonna get spicy (thank God) and I get that! But, I know this question might sound a little confusing, is the fanfic going to be ROMANTIC between Theo and the Obsessed, or... More of a strange relationship that doesn't really get to romantic (probably friendship or something)? Don't know if the aswer counts as a spoiler, but if it is, then it's fine if you don't answer it :).

Hello, so sorry for the late reply, and thank you for the message!

Though I can't say too much because I do plan to get into this as soon as the next chapter (my fanfic is NOT dead, don't you worry, I'm working on the next chapter as we speak!), I DO intend for there to be romantic moments between Theodore and The Obsessed!

While I can't exactly provide context because spoilers, nor Theodor's specific reactions to the... certain things that are to come, The Obsessed does make what it considers and intends to be romantic interactions in the coming chapters. Though I cannot exactly explain what exactly The Obsessed feels, I will say that it does feel a very peculiar sense of love for Theodore. It's just... it acts on love in ways that are not typically seen as such from a human perspective. Think, for example, the events at the villager outpost. One could very well argue that The Obsessed did what it did out of love for Theodore, violent as its actions were. I am, however, very excited to get to the parts in which The Obsessed does a very obvious action which indicates love.

(What does that mean? Well... you'll see!)

As for what their relationship can be called... both Theodore and The Obsessed think of their relationship differently. Theodore thinks of The Obsessed as this thing he has to appease so that it doesn't kill him, he doesn't really know what The Obsessed is trying to do because no one has ever SURVIVED The Obsessed for this long. As for The Obsessed, well. Theodore is it's newest obsession, and that's all I can say about that!

Hello everyone! I have a small announcement!

First off, let me say right off the bat-- though the official Obsessed series by IDK Someguy may be cancelled, my fic "Obsession" is not.

I apologize to anyone who thought that I may have abandoned it, I've been quite busy with my studies this semester and haven't had nearly as much time to write as I did before. I have hopes that I can get a new chapter out soon, at the very latest by the end of Thanksgiving break. "Obsession" is not only a story that I would love to see to completion, but also a world that I would like to expand upon. Though I will no longer have any source material to work with, I still have hopes that I can make my own spin on the Redwoods as immersive as the series's was.

Again, I am sorry for my lack of communication-- I know I can be a bit hard to get ahold of. Still, I hope that you guys can have patience with me for a little while longer, I promise I'll make it worth the while!
