She shoots up in one quick motion, roots digging up clumps of dirt, and coughs violently.

Her mouth is filled with blood and what almost looks like torn up petals.

*trying my best to cut the vines*

Meanwhile, she slowly pulls against them.

She doesn't respond, but she does move a small amount, pulling against the vines.

They're defending.

Rose quietly coughs.

The vines suddenly fall. Whatever it is has disappeared.

Rose makes a small, quiet sound, completely engulfed in the thorns.

It screams again, a dark purple, almost black blood leaking out of it.

It screams, an inhuman sound, as the vines dig into it. Flashes of purple surround her.
