I know we’re supposed to believe that edward got upset over jacob’s thoughts because they were dirty or whatever but that’s not my canon. the real jake, new moon jake, has the softest love for bella and just wants to see her happy. the same boy who never played music around her because she didn’t like it, the same boy who cared so much for her that he dived into the raging waves to save her life... that’s what would’ve bothered edward. seeing how much jake cares for her and how he could give her the happy, healthy human life that edward wants her to have.
