I would love to, my Dove. I'm sure it will be a purrfect show.
Musical recommendation: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!
I would wear his coat.

Thoughts on spiders? I mean you’re still the lord of the flies even if you ain’t a prince no more… I’d assume you fear them.. because after all.. you’re their natural prey … :)

I love it as well.
I'm not sure. Whoever this Don Draper is certainly couldn't look as splendid as you, my Dear.
A friend of mine was talking about how much they liked Gabriel’s outfit in the dance scene. I think most people can appreciate the theatrics of it, the kind of campy formality of the ensemble. And I think it fits really well for his character at this point in the story.
Of course, pre-amnesia Gabriel always had an appreciation for good clothes. It’s his one thing he appreciates about Earth, the only worldly pleasure he indulges in without qualms. But the way he engages with this interest in nice clothing is with perfectly tailored suits, often in neutral colors, which, at least to me, is a cultural symbol of power.
Tumblr media
To me, his usual suit screams says in a very appropriate volume, “I have money. I have class and taste, and with this class and taste, I know the rules for how to dress to be taken seriously. Not too gaudy, but clearly expensive.” Not to mention the whole hierarchical structure of Heaven being represented with an office, with Gabriel near the top. With a suit comes an image of a “boss”, a man in charge.
So I think it’s interesting how, after his memory is wiped along with all expectations and obligations to fulfill a role in Heaven, his interest in clothing is not lost, but is instead changed. Instead of a respectable modern suit, he chooses… this.
Tumblr media
A baby blue monstrosity with glittery rhinestones on the collar and cuffs, a frilly undershirt that looks like it came straight from the closet of 18th century nobility, and a HUGE feathered ombre coat that circles his head like a halo??? OHHH, this angel likes DRAMA, and THEATRICS, and he likes trying things out and looking a little silly, maybe, but still having a lot of fun with it! Sure, it still has that image of wealth imbedded into it, but instead of it being seen as a status symbol made to instill respect in those around him, it is his very tacky way of expressing his own personal taste.
Like. Sure, Archangel Gabriel is a prick who wants to be taken seriously, so he goes for the domineering symbol of a well tailored suit made for a business man. But who is Jim, at his core? A silly fashionable man with a taste for the opulent. And to see his own will played out without the influence of Heaven is really cool to see.

I would never let anyone do such a thing, my love.

It's surprisingly good. Better than hellfire, by any means.

That sounds about right. I would offer to let you try mine, but I doubt you'd get anything due to my lack of gender. If anything, it would just taste like maggots and swamp water. Perhaps a bit of rotting fruit and meat.
If you would like some water for the fluff, you can come get a glass from my place.

I wonder. Now that I think of it, you mentioned drinking Gabriel's coat? I'm curious now. Was the coat gender? What did it taste like?
