So, yesterday I was told that I am out of CHF, and not only that...I have been since July! Happy Days! So, I am continuing tapering off the low dose of Bisoprolol and Ramipril. I will have an echo in September to see where I'm at as it was decided that the BnP wouldnt be useful because my genetic condition will always give a super high number. My diagnosis is now Idiopathic Cardiomyopathy...next goal...stay out of CHF and off meds for 5 years and make that cardiomyopathy magically disappear... Fingers crossed! #bethemagic #butterflywarrior #buhbaichf #CHF https://www.instagram.com/p/B9kMeZUJ888/?igshid=1rpie9mkpg5j6

And here is the last tip for heart awareness month... LIVE YOUR LIFE! Heart Disease is NOT a death sentence. It may take some time to find your balance and that is Ok. Just don't forget that you are beautiful, strong, intelligent and worthy of an amazing life. Everything we do in life comes from one of two places, Love or Fear. When we do things from a place of fear, we are doomed to fail because mentally we already have. When we do things from a place of love, we will succeed because mentally we already have. I hope that you have enjoyed these tips and maybe found some even useful. Love, Peace and Hope to All, Anne https://www.instagram.com/p/B9LfTcDJpHO/?igshid=1trk6t4yr4d3f

Electric Magnetic Fields have long thought to effect our bodies negatively. Electronics emit these frequencies and send the negative ions towards our bodies. As our hearts have their own electronic pulses, EMF's can interfere with the circuit and create arrhythmias. How can one protect oneself? You can protect yourself by earthing (tip #2) or with EMF products (you can get these off of amazon). The best thing to protect yourself is to not sleep with your phone or computer near you and turn off your wifi router at night. www.drpawluk.com/blog/electromagnetic-fields-and-the-heart/amp/ #heartawarenessmonth2020 #butterflywarrior #chf #buhbaiCHF #saynotoemf https://www.instagram.com/p/B9Lb-e_J_8Z/?igshid=1i43xw3t00biz

Under the age of 65, Men are more likely to develop hypertension than Women until the age of 65 and then it switches. This is believes to be because estrogen has a cardio protective quality. However, be careful of hormone replacement therapy because they have been shown to raise blood pressure. So, if you start taking hormone replacement therapy, it might be a good idea to keep a close eye on your blood pressure. https://www.acc.org/latest-in-cardiology/articles/2018/07/27/09/02/women-and-hypertension #heartawarenessmonth2020 #butterflywarrior #chf #buhbaiCHF #womenandhypertension https://www.instagram.com/p/B9LY6WbJd1m/?igshid=1nr1rvyeq55ay

Mood, anxiety and stress are all affect the heart. Music can help to control the emotional heart. In turn, the physical heart will relax, lowering blood pressure, lowering heart rate and relaxing the blood vessels allowing more blood to flow. Just make sure that you choose the right music for your mood! https://www.health.harvard.edu/newsletter_article/using-music-to-tune-the-heart #heartawarenessmonth2020 #butterflywarrior #CHF #buhbaichf #musicforhearthealth https://www.instagram.com/p/B9KhMXWpWhu/?igshid=1rxfh058mabat

It is generally known that one cause of Heart Disease is Diabetes (any of the types). Your Doctor can check your A1c and Fasting Glucose with a simple blood test. One type of Diabetes is type 2 or Insulin Resistance. Insulin Resistance is defined as an over production of insulin OR an inability for the body to use it correctly. Did you know that there is one type of Insulin Resistance called Syndrome X? Syndrome X is where your body doesnt process insulin or glucose correctly. You can have Insulin Resistance and have normal blood sugar levels! Syndrome X is prominent in females and is also called "Small (Coronary) Artery Disease". ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How do I find out if I have it? Your Dr may order a C-Reactive Protein blood test or do a PET scan to look at the arteries. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What can I do to help it? For Insulin Resistance, you want to keep the inflammation as low as possible. To do this, you may find it helpful to try a Low Carb, Keto or Carnivore Diet. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So, stay heart healthy and watch your carbohydrate and sugar intake! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *before undertaking any diet or exercise change, please consult a professional. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC380256/ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ https://cardiab.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12933-018-0762-4 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #heartawarenessmonth2020 #butterflywarrior #chf #buhbaiCHF #gocarbfreetobeinflammationfree https://www.instagram.com/p/B9KZHHAJ51r/?igshid=zas4j505pnhc

Intermittent Fasting has been around since the beginning of time. We have used it for survival, physical healing and spirituality. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you think about it, how did our ancestors survive? Neanderthals and Cavemen did not have birds delivering food to them from around the world. How did they survive? Maybe they were like bears and gorged on food in the warmer months and they hibernated much of winter...whatever there method ways, eating 3 meals a day has only been around since the 1800's. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Intermittent Fasting is when you only eat during certain periods of the day. Some of the common ones are 8hrs eat and 16hrs fast, 6hrs eat and 18hrs fast, 4hrs eat and 20hrs fast and 1 meal a day (ie, fast 23hrs). Which one is right for me? Whichever you can stick to. There is no right answer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The benefits of fasting; 1) lowers glucose and insulin resistance; 2) lowers blood pressure; 3) lowers inflammation; 4) decrease fatty liver and pancreas; 5)lower cholesterol and triglycerides; 6) and activates the parasympathetic nervous system which calms the heart and kidneys, lowering blood pressure and increasing the size of blood vessels. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ While our bodies have changed and adapted to our world over time, our world is changing too fast for our physical evolution to keep up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *before you start any diet or exercise please consult a professional or listen to your body. We are all different, and fasting may not be right for all. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6471315/ #heartawarenessmonth2020 #butterflywarrior #chf #buhbaiCHF #intermittentfasting🥰my💗 https://www.instagram.com/p/B9KEQP-p43r/?igshid=vxp9byx9dtrz

Ayurveda is Traditional Indian Medicine. It uses, nutrition, mediation, yoga and herbs to balance our Doshas (body types) to achieve optimal mental, emotional and physical health. Ayurveda is even the first medicine to perform surgery! One of the healing medicines it uses are Mudras. Mudras are hand positions to stimulate energy centers. The Apana Vayu Mudra is used to calm and strengthen the heart. It is so powerful that some of my friends whom are Drs. in India claim that when someone enters the hospital with heart symptoms that having the patient perform this Mudra/putting their fingers in this position is the first thing they do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How to do it? It's easy! Find a quiet place to sit. Relax. Gently bend your 1st finger down towards the palm. bring your thumb to your second and third fingers. Close your eyes and breathe. Do you feel a tingling sensation? That is your circulation being stimulated! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Namaste and Peace to All ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ https://fitsri.com/yoga/apana-vayu-mudra ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5934951/ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ http://www.isca.in/rjrs/archive/v6/i2/3.ISCA-RJRS-2017-008.pdf #heartawarenessmonth2020 #butterflywarrior #chf #buhbaiCHF #vayaapanamudra https://www.instagram.com/p/B9GZ6lQJ9HJ/?igshid=13amts86xjvto

The medications that can help heart patients can also hurt us. Diuretics are a huge factor in lowering your platelet count. Beta Blockers, ACE Inhibitors can lower platelet levels as well. Why are platelets important? They clot your blood to prevent you from bleeding out. Heart Medications also can change the shape of platelets and cause them to not not stick together to stop you from bleeding. This can be a cause of your immune system reacting to the drugs, or excessive dehydration from diuretics or lack of fluids. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So, if you are on heart medications or have any of the following symptoms, it might be a good idea to have your platelets checked; ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ fatigue; unexplained bruising; bruise easily; red/pink dots on the skin; or excessive/uncontrolled bleeding. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ https://www.doctorshealthpress.com/general-health-articles/what-common-causes-low-platelet-count-thrombocytopenia/amp/ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/full/10.1161/01.CIR.0000086897.15588.4B ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #heartawarenessmonth2020 #butterflywarrior #chf #buhbaiCHF #heartdrugcausedlowplatelets https://www.instagram.com/p/B87EEyRphfW/?igshid=43t963yseptf
