i’ll be damned before i do a proper promo with a graphic on this blog, so this will have to do. syd is back with a remake of FORTUNEGAMBLED, a blog for LUXORD / LUDOR of KINGDOM HEARTS. originally made in july 2018, this blog has been remade and is in the process of being reimagined as of april 2022 — and is, as most kingdom hearts blogs tend to be, heavily based on headcanons and theories.

posted this yesterday but i am considering doing this. at the very least, i will be doing a slight revamp and making these verses this week into my off days from work, and if it sticks it sticks...

not promising anything at all here considering how long i’ve been away, but… i’m considering bringing luxord back and giving him verses for twisted wonderland and genshin impact…

Give me body horror in magic.

Give me pyromancy that burns the skin off your hand until your bones are showing. Give me arcane that cooks you inside-out from manaburn. Give me cryomancy that cracks your skin and chips it away. Give me necromancy that causes your teeth to turn necrotic and your eyes to glass over white.

I don’t want cute magic. I want magic to be a raw and dangerous force. I want those who harness it to feel the full effects of what a great and terrible thing it is. I want mages who wear the effects of their magic on their skin and in their bones.

That’s the good stuff.

honestly tho kh3′s lighting just is not friendly to any sort of intensive editing and i’m amazed my kairi icons look as nice as they do. but perhaps that’s all in the beauty of simplicity... ugh i’m gonna eat dinner and give this asshole another go.

can we get back on eldritch horror nobodies. obviously-not-living nobodies. nobodies who shouldn't exist and so they break the world around them. can we get back on that.

time is fucky around luxord and you can completely lose track of it around him; it feels either too fast or too slow or like it isn't passing at all. music is slightly off-tempo. what feels like a short conversation with him can actually leave you with an hour of time lost. it's not deliberate and he is unaffected himself. time around him is wrong.

demyx looks like a drowned corpse when seen from the corner of your eyes. if he gets emotional in any way, it can leave the people around him with the faint feeling of drowning, like water has poured into their lungs. sometimes you can almost feel the weighlessness of being underwater. you can take the boy out of the water, but the water has its ways of following wherever he goes.

i think a lot of it is that i’m not timid at all?? i’m very... loud when it comes to talking about what i like, my opinions, etc.. but i also stay away from drama, which is what usually intimidates me about people. so people finding me intimidating is just weird to me because i’m just being loud because i’m loud akjsfkjshdjf
