End of Session 2
Last night was the end of the second session of Foundation for Success's Basketball Academy! Competition Tuesday was a little different than the first session due to the fact I invited some kids who are not apart of the Basketball Academy. The kids competed with against some of the better basketball players locally of their age group. I was proud of all the kids. They didn't back down because of that we had some excellent competitions. The members of the academy have improved tremendously. I'm honored that I had a chance to have a positive impact on their lives. We are taking 5 weeks off from our Basketball Academy due to the 2 basketball camps we are hosting in July. Can't wait until August 4 when the third session starts. This was the play of the week! Basketball Academy update
We only have one more group training lesson for our basketball academy until August 4th. Everything is starting to come together. They are becoming better basketball players and improving their knowledge of the game. Our focus last night was moving without the ball and trusting your teammates by PASSING them the ball. Our kids are still a work in progress but we can see they making the efforts to improve as well as being comfortable making basketball decisions. No move of the week for this week! We want them to concentrate on driving with them off hand (for most of them their left hand) and making left handed lay-ups! I'm happy with their improvements and excited about the future! Foundation for Success will like to announce their First Annual Basketball Camp on July 6th-9th at Notre Dame Academy in Park Hills, Kentucky from 10:30-2! Basketball Academy Update
Last night was the third week of our second session of our basketball academy. They are getting better. We are constantly pushing them to work hard. When I was in high school one of my favorite coaches Coach Gray told me "the day I stop coaching you hard is the day, the day I gave up on you." I want the kids here to know that I care about them but we are gonna push them. Sometimes they might hate us, other days they might love us but as long as they know we care about them that's all I can ask for! I wasn't so happy with my high school bunch, I want them to maximize their potential that's all! At the end of the day, I'm blessed to have this opportunity to have a positive impact on these kids! Week 7 of Foundation for Success Academy
What a great day yesterday! We have The Credit Resource company donated tee shirts to Foundation for Success’s first session Basketball Academy! We are thankful for the assistance. We got some positive and great feedback from the parents last night. The next session will be in 2 weeks, it will be better thanks to the feedback! The kids had a blast last night! It looks likes they enjoyed their new tee shirts! The kids can’t wait for the last week of the first session! Competition Tuesday will be fun! Congratulations Coach D on your daughter! You are gonna be a great father! I’m so thankful for this opportunity. After speaking with Coach JJ and Coach D, we feel like we are making a difference in the community! The future looks bright!

Basketball Academy second day
Last night was the second day of the second session of Foundation for Success's Basketball Academy. It's going well. We are doing some advance drills now since most of the kids came for more skills training! This week the video is not about perfection rather it's about effort and having the willingness to do something new. All of the three clips have some areas which they need to improve but they gave the best effort in these new moves. Trust me the kids are getting better! I want to get a special shoutout to Darius Williams for getting his first Division 1 basketball offer! Congrats my man. Good things will happen if you work hard!

Last night was the second version of Foundation for Success's Basketball Academy. We had a good turnout from all the age groups consider the fact we are in baseball and soccer season. Our goal was to have 20 kids, we ended up having 31 kids participating. I'm so excited to have the opportunity to impact their development over the next 8 weeks. 1st Session of the Basketball Academy
Competition Tuesday was a huge success! From the little ones all the way to the high schoolers they had a good time and they competed. Yesterday was the end of our first ever 8 week session of Foundation for Success's Basketball Academy. Our focus was to improve their fundamentals and build a positive environment to assist with kids reaching their goals. After 8 weeks we are starting to see results from their hard work. The future looks bright for them as well as Foundation for Success. The second session of our Basketball Academy starts on Tuesday May 4. Can't wait
