Set in a quaint Sicilian village nestled along the rugged coastline, the rhythms of life are dictated by the ebb and flow of the sea. Fishing has been the heartbeat of this community for generations, a timeless tradition passed down from father to son.

Written and created by Richard Patterson with voice performance by Marie Köbrl - ‘De Stratenmaker’ is a poem dedicated to the City of Amsterdam inspired by the visual depth of this city during the snowfall of 2021. A bedtime story on a cold sleepy snowy morning. Layers of soil, sand and brick are laid daily by the labor of the streetmakers whose work paves our way. What does the streetmaker feel on a morning so quiet and clean?
