as someone who has a muse over the age of 40, i know it can be difficult sometimes to find plots that work since the average muse on tumblr is usually 10/20 years younger.  SO  i made a list of possible au’s that could be platonic or romantic, depending on your preference, for any kind of LEGAL age difference scenarios (as in don’t take these ideas and use them on gross pedo shit !!  )

mentor relationships. it’s okay to have a younger muse ask advice questions to an older muse. alternatively, it’s okay for a younger muse to be exasperated and give unwarranted advice to an older muse! older muse could be a family friend, could be a coworker, boss, etc.
