In Super Mario Odyssey, the Odyssey is first encountered in a rusty, broken-down state in the Cascade Kingdom. It cannot be entered in this state due to the door being rusted shut.
However, if Mario is made to clip into the Odyssey using glitches, it is revealed that the rusty door does not actually replace the regular door, and is merely modeled in front of it. The real door is still present, and can in fact be opened from the inside, as shown in the screenshot.
