Honestly. I thought I’d been pissed off and disappointed before by 9-1-1. But by the last 15 mins of the episode, I was damn near in tears out of frustration because I knew we were going to have like two more sets of commercials, which would leave barely more than 5 minutes to wrap everything up, and I knew it was going to do it well. And I was right. Even to the last 30 seconds, I was still trying to be hopeful. But I’m really just pissed how they handled every single relationship. Between Bobby still not being alive or his death properly handled. Chris and Eddie still not having a single important conversation and Eddie making no actual decisions for himself. No continued conversation between Buck and Eddie and them just throwing in half assed conclusions for all the characters that are still actually open ended since the house isn’t sold and Buck hasn’t found somewhere to live. And the Mara adoption was random asf. I’m so incoherent and just irritated. This definitely tops 6 for being the worst finale. And it’s fine as a regular episode, but as a finale with so many open storylines and issues never getting the consideration it deserves? Fucking stupid.

Also. Thinking of when Maddie asked Buck why each girl he dated wants to flee the state or the country and damn. His track record sucks cause we got Abby, Ali, and Eddie.

Me at work trying to explain to a straight man in his 50’s that doesn’t watch much tv why Eddie saying he’s straight and Buck saying Eddie’s straight is proof that he’s not straight sure was something tonight lmaooo.

I have conflicted feelings on this and how it was handled in the show. But one thing I’ll say til I’m blue in the face is that if Michelle has no haters, I’m dead.

I almost can't directly think about how Ted went to England assuming his wife and son would eventually follow him and instead they divorced and that divorce happened while Ted was unknowingly fighting against the owner of the football club to actually make something of his life here, all while there is Zero Fucking Discussion about Henry going back to Kansas. Its just understood and obvious Ted isn't getting primary or equal custody.

All that, at the suggestion of the couple's therapist who winds up dating Michelle.

And despite all of that, Ted still manages to build a life, and then his mother shows up to tell him off for daring to better himself and drag him home.

Its just horrific.

Maybe it’s when Buck is sleeping around and gets fired or something even more drastic and he’s trying to fix it and plead his case and he’s like “we’ve all become such a good family” and someone, maybe Bobby (who was always adamant about them not being a family, “a family?
