Melanistic Grey Wolf (Canis lupus) in it’s summer coat in Yukon, Canada. Black coat colour in wolves is thought to have been introduced through cross-breeding with domestic dogs. Wolves with black coats have been found to have a much higher immunity to canine distemper than the more typical grey-coloured wolves.

has anyone ever thought that instead of sharing your discourse opinion you could just share your life.

ex: instead of posting about how animal packers are not harmful you can post about how an animal packer has helped you feel euphoric.

ex: instead of posting about how it’s okay to be a physical nonhuman you can post about what being physically nonhuman is like

just a thought. it does nothing to destigmatize something if it is only talked about as a vague discourse topic. we talk a lot about how things feel watered down online and i can’t help but feel that the inclination to continue arguing long after the dust has settled only furthers the reduction.

got my angel fangs pierced yesterday, another part of my species transition plans down! the piercer said i have "very specific" anatomy (a very nice way of saying Very Small Lips lol) and so the way he pierced it is different than any other i've seen online.

but i really love it! he said i look like a cool bug. and i agree :3 i'm feeling very species affirmed already and i haven't even gotten the spiky fang part of the jewelry put on yet.
