Okay but I'm a sucker for angst where someone is rendered unrecognizable to their loved ones. Perhaps due to an injury or maybe just passage of time. Maybe their appearance drastically changed in the time apart. Maybe it's a curse. Either way, the horrifying moment of approaching their loved one, only to be regarded as a stranger is So painfully good! And this is all to say that I'm utterly obsessed with the concept of this happening to Kallus. Perhaps he had to drastically change his appearance to to undercover? Or maybe Thrawn had a bit of sadistic fun once he caught Fulcrum? There's just so much painful potential!
