Even if your parents and/or guardians went through abuse themselves, it does not excuse what they did to you. Not even if they say they treated you “better” than they were treated. The bottom line is you never should have been abused. And they are responsible for their actions.

being picky and stubborn are not negative traits.

now i’m not saying throw a temper tantrum and scream at the world or yell at waiters because you want your food to come out faster or not be friends with someone because they don’t like the same show as you… i’m talking about when it comes to your life and relationships and getting what you want…

you are on this earth once… don’t let everyone have your time and energy, choose who you want to be around that make you feel good and happy! don’t date people because everyone else is in relationships… when you start doing things just because other people are doing it, then you start to live a life not valued for yourself…

being stubborn is when you stand firm in your decision and do not waver… you are god and when you desire something you decide it’s yours and it immediately belongs to you… no questioning if you have it and knowing that the 3d literally doesn’t matter cause it’s not about that… stand firm

i just wanted to rant about this because these aren’t bad traits to have, if anything they have helped me and made my life better💗
