i don't know if i've ever mentioned it before but we have a soundboard clip in [CC] of nick cage's AUGH NO NOT THE BEES! NOT THE BEES!! from the wicker man movie, and every time we do harvest temple and get to the second orb phase, in which you have aoes of insects sent at you, it is someone's sacred duty to press said soundboard button.

looking at your (gw2) ocs, do you think you have a certain type/style? aside from maybe having many characters of one specific race, is there anything else you tend to include in your ocs designs/backstories a lot? do you think there's something that makes your characters "you brand"?
#lotta them have warring loyalties. to themselves and their beliefs or other people or causes who they care about#i also like putting characters in cultures that aren't their born race#arcshod and tessa being a charr and asura growing up with norn for example#a sylvari in elona. charr in elona (one in sandswept and two in the crystal desert). sylvari in orr. charr in metrica#or hunter who lives between the ascalonian settlement and lion's arch which are both not particularly krytan#and ooc i like giving characters wings of all kinds in game#they're also all aspec mostly because i don't think i actually know how to write a character that isn't#also for some reason several of my charr would have different genders if they were on earth instead of tyria which is... interesting?

Okay. So. Sylvari that fills wounds with resin, making some parts translucent, even making bones visible.
I'm sure some engineer could install small LEDs that charge with solar energy to enhance the Glow™
Also, he is a driftwood sylvari that lives by a lighthouse. The sun bleached his skin/bark and with the constant salty winds, he looks like driftwood.
He's a surfer bro and regularly holds surfing competitions for various marine animals. He'd make a great coast guard, if only for the reason that wood, well, floats? Be your own boat or something.
He 100% owns an acoustic guitar and 100% will play it at the campfire whether you like it or not. He has 0% musical talent.
Oh, and he calls himself Jack , because he glows like a lantern.
