Is the Midnight Entity, or could it be read as, a conceptual entity a la The Book of the War?

(I need Tumblr's endemic population of Factionheads to help me out with this one, as I'm sadly poorly read on my Faction Paradox lore.)

I guess likewise, you could make the argument that the Entity could be any number of things from the EU; N forms, some kind of Great Vampire, one of any number of fucked up things the Time Lords made/unmade.

In fact, further to this point, if we're playing in this space where the Midnight Entity could be something not necessarily native to the planet of Midnight, can we talk about how it's a perfect prison? Bathed in radiation so no living creatures can come close, then covered in hyper reflective diamonds so it cannot take on physical form, like we see in "The Well".

God, I love the Midnight Entity. Gonna be rotating it in my hypercube for a good few days...

faction paradox comic / manga idea and notes

I had this idea since ages about making a comic using only the puns and word play from Book of the War

Basic plot is faction sibling has a macguffin and is chased by a nechronomancer and finally trapped by the sibling cuz turns out the parablox was used to cage an anarchitect

By that point i already ran out of puns, so i took some from "The Infinity Doctors" (Librarinth is actually in the Needle and not the BotW Labyrinth) and Iris Wildthyme (although Omnibus probably isnt a pun - also an underground train wagon is easier to fold into itself moebius style)

Terroriums are my own little pun from another worldbuilding thing of mine

I also wanted the MacGuffin to be called Chronolock or "Angel's Tear" but that and having biodata tattoos turn into shadow creatures is just lifted from Face The Raven (Series 9 of Doctor Who)

Also no idea on the design aspect, FP comics should look "grimdark"?

Sequel to Time Lords don’t base their relationships on affection: I also don’t think most of them can conceptualize death. They’re trained to see regeneration like changing clothes. If you spend your whole life on Gallifrey and don’t do stupid things, you could easily live to 10,000. Parents die before children, sure, but not by much in the scheme of things. It’s more common to stop talking to family or friends or lovers than to lose them.

Just thinking about how alt!Romana I was told it had been 6 months and she should be over her husband, and how not only does nobody but Leela seem to mourn Andred, most of them don’t seem to understand her grief. There’s more but brain fog
