Jo's face brightened at the sound of approaching footsteps, and she anxiously squirmed. She sat up when her sister entered the bedroom and looked up at her expectantly. Joseph absolutely beamed, lips pressing to her nose. His little sister was easily the cutest thing he'd ever seen. "Secret borrowing." He wrapped an arm around Sophie's waist, his lips moving down to her jaw.

Sophie glanced down at the shirt she was wearing before grinning up at her brother. “Yeah, it is. You don’t mind do you? I saw it in your closet and thought it looked cute,” she said.

"Bien!" Joseph settled down against him with a little wiggle of his hips. His thighs were less soft now, something he wasn't terribly thrilled about, but other than the general lack of softness he had no complaint. "You're very handsome," he chirped in agreement as his fingers ran through Marie's now short hair with a curious expression. "I wonder what I would look like as a girl."

He welcomed the affection openly, his smile growing. The soft noise that came from Sophie made his heart skip a beat, and he continued to lightly scratch her scalp. “I don’t steal,” he protested with a little pout. “I borrow.”

Joseph awaited his brother's assistance with wide eyes. Even if he was older and in many ways more clever, he didn't want to endanger himself or Charles by rushing in. At the man's answer he hesitated for just a moment, then scurried forward, gently taking his hand and licking his thumb to rub at the supposed tattoo. After affirming that no, it wasn't coming off, he straddled Marie and kissed his cheek with a soft coo. "Marie!"
