Body language is an incredibly effective way to create expositional scenes without narrating the story explicitly to the audience. Giving a character indiosyncracies and personal ticks produces unique, individual characters. These small actions may also provide visual hints and clues to what the character is truly feeling about a situation which may not be present to the characters in the scene, for example, when Fredrick Zoller doesn’t get his way, he rolls and runs his fingers together in annoyance and aggravation.

I think that it was much more effective bringing the audience’s attention to the anti-hero first. It establishes Landa as an important figure in our story, and also sets up Shoshanna’s arc of Revenge against the Nazis on account of the massacre at LaPedite’s Farm.

As a response to my tutor feedback for Lino Cutting, I made a print for a friend. I was so happy with the outcome, using a spoon to apply pressure when transferring the ink worked incredibly well!
