       frank longbottom didn’t get nervous. that horrid feeling milling around in his stomach ?  it had to be a stomach flu. it was his first day on the job --- the first day at his dream job --- but what the hell was there to be nervous about ?  he’d been preparing for this practically his whole life, he knew the ins and outs of auror life like the back of his hand, and if his ranking among the trainees had anything to say about it, he was set to become one of the best aurors the ministry of magic had ever seen. he wasn’t nervous. or, at least... he HADN’T been nervous until his senior officer offered him merely one word of greeting. okay --- now he was nervous.   ❛  actually, i... don’t think this is the kinda thing you can say ‘ no ’ to. you’re stuck with me, so maybe you should suck it up and tell me your name, like i so politely asked.  ❜
