I Refuse to be a Named Character Master Post

I woke up inside the world of one of the best selling fantasy book series “Deadly Crown.” Intrigue, handsome heroes, adventure… sounds great, right? Just one problem: all the named characters except the main hero and villain die, are replaced and their replacements die. Being important in this story is a death sentence, so I plan to move to the middle of nowhere, and avoid the plot!

It should be a fool proof plan, so why do the main characters keep dragging me into the story?

I love Sundered for how big and empty this game feels, how slow in terms of pacing and storytelling it is. It leaves you forever with all of the questions you have. Abandoned buildings, facilities, temples - and enemies too, on such a much larger scale than a tiny human figure you command. The whole world feels like it's giving you space to grieve something you don't even know you're supposed to grieve. To mourn your humanity while you don't even know what humanity is to you as a player, to the world of the game as a whole. Hanging in all of that vacant space. I love it.
