We rarely if ever had jelly? So we did peanut butter and honey sometimes. And I can't remember if this was at home or my grandparents, but Peanut Butter and Butter, which was weird but not actually bad that I remember? But we never got name brand Peanut Butter, we'd get the big tubs of some off brand. I don't mind generic for a lot of things but as an adult, Peanut Butter has to be a name brand (unless you are using it for cooking) or like, I feel like it's extra oily and separates faster. We also usually had wheat bread which was SO dry without jelly. We had a lot of PB sandwiches, I don't know why we never got jelly.
I have a very curious question for people - have any of you had a Peanut Butter and Honey sandwich?
I grew up thinking it was 100% completely normal, but when i brought it up to a friend one time they were like “?????? WHAT???? YOU EAT PEANUT BUTTER AND HONEY???? TOGETHER????”
And im like “Yeah??????? Its no different than PB n J, its just… PB n H?????”
But then they asked around and then reported back to me that THEIR friends didn’t know what i was talking about, so…. As I was reminded of this convo by eating a PB and honey sandwich, i gotta wonder if that’s a thing you guys think is normal or if you’ve even heard of it.

i was with my mother’s family and they were talking to me about my religious studies major. my great aunt asked me what the definition of hell was, and i responded “well i suppose it depends on who you ask.” and nearly all the protestants in the group decided that hell was “the absence of god” which i suppose is a fair answer, albeit not a universal one. my cousin’s wife was playing with her 3-year-old daughter and she says “well mommy says that hell is a mcdonald’s playplace” asdfghjhgfd

The reason the work you’ve done on how you feel doesn’t seem like it’s working is because you need to do it until it works. It’s never been “this strategy will pull you up” it’s always been “here’s something you can do that will END with you getting out of that hole” the climbing still hurts and the being underground still hurts but that doesn’t mean it’s not working
