Hi! may i ask? I saw some posts about Stancy in S5 and dont quite understand, why do people speak about Nancy cheating on Jonathan with Steve? Is it just a suggestion or a possible spoiler that they will for sure reunite or something? If you know, please can you clear up, cause im a little confussed lol.

Of course! I think it’s probably an assumption because the Stancy narrative might be pushed in S5. I suppose cheating is mentioned bc of the way she went from Steve to Jonathan (don’t come into my inbox about this - I know some people consider it cheating and some dont and I have zero interest in getting into that personally), but I don’t think there’s any spoiler out there, they’re pretty tight on the spoilers :)

btw i’m genuinely scared of stancy in s5.. why would nancy cheat on jonathan with steve when she cheated on steve in s2… and clearly didn’t love him? like, why would u want to get back together with ur ex when they broke ur heart and u never got over it seem so ..stupid..i know it takes time to heal but still it’s too much, i really hope steve will have a gf (or not for that matter), (steve being single even benefits for him in so many ways too) but on the other hand, i would be happy for him to get a new gf, not hanging on nancy anymore. even tho, she was great in s4, leading the party in the upside down and all but i think it’s time even for her to put her priorities first.. and i think it would be the best if she focused on herself and her career but not neither of the boys bc it feels like she doesn’t want to be with anyone of them? and does she necessarily have to have a bf? and stancy feels so forced to me like i wanna cringe.. let my stevie boy be happy okay??? or yk what would be cool? if el reanimated eddie and he somehow would return and got together with steve!! ahh🤩❤️ but pls not stancy..even nancy doesn’t feel like she would want to get back together with steve bc the past still haunts her (yk what happened to barb and all..) ik steve is a really nice and good looking guy in s4 and he changed for the better thanks to the kids but i still doesn’t feel like nancy and steve back together.. it makes me sick, i’m sorry..🥹

Some weeks ago this discussion was on with a few anons on here and I have to say I’ve seen fun theories for and against this relationship. I’d much rather see both of them single than anything else but I also can see why stancy shippers see the value of it still, even if I don’t share that view :)

I just want Steve to be loved and happy (and yeah Eddie would be the ideal candidate if you ask me, sigh), but preferably I just don’t want it to be forced out of nowhere.
