bad idea: tumblr bot that posts random How It's Made GIFs with "I should call her" underneath all of them.
no matter how appropriate

The Legend of She-Ra: Tears of the Catra.

Here is a collection of other drawings from yesterday :)
Picture 1 was done first, after I listened to a review of Glimmer's coronation episode T_T that poor girl is surrounded by fools
Of course I drew more Entrapta and Catra :)
Picture 6 is @phosphoricbomb's Chipped Catra (not brainwashed) vs Normal Catra. Normal Catra is like me, she gets offended when her loved ones are upset and tries to fight them.
Picture 7 is Catra with Link's new arm :^)

Oldie, but goodie! - Includes my OCs! (I am formerly shadsiethewriter, the person who was hijacked by Robin and Jerome for a few stories and some artwork back in the day).
at last! the long awaited cameo comic; enter the cloneiverse.
this is the speech my mom gave us before we visited my sisters college apartment for the first time, because her BOYFRIEND was LIVING with her BEFORE MARRIGE. egad!
years after the end of shera ‘mom clone’ will have a little house in dryl probably with 30 decorative horde symbols on the wall just in case anyone doubts that hes ex horde.
thank you to everyone who let me use their oc for this! @drawing-neleb @caffeinatedcorvid @thegreatmachine17 @soranis-sunshadow @shadsiethewriter i managed to fit everyone in!
the characters in the group shot are, from right to left: basil (thegreatmachine17) , zee (thegreatmachine17), yudi (soranis-sunshadow), ‘mom clone’ (mine), ‘funny clone’ (mine), cyrus (drawing-neleb), badar (drawing-neleb), watchful (caffeinatedcorvid), jay (thegreatmachine17), jerome (shadsiethewriter), robin (shadsiethewriter), and emerald (thegreatmachine17).

Thanks. It was so long ago... I sort of wonder if I was possessed by something. I remember writing it and posting it in a style I hadn't done before or since: Getting the entire fanfiction done, beginning to end, editing and re-editing (treating it not unlike my self-published novels) BEFORE posting a lick of it. I do remember being pissed off at almost the entire She-Ra and especially Entrapdak and Hordak and Clone fandom at the time. For reasons. Misunderstanding reasons. Exile from the fandom by a queen bee reasons. Rumor-milI reasons. Actually had to have crisis-intervention reasons (although, a LOT of that was Covid-lockdown stress, too). And since then... I've taken hit after hit in my personal life (my real life, not my online one) and the whole flipping out over a damn fandom and a single set of online "friends" seems fucking silly now. I am much more guarded in my new-old fandom and... am presently just trying to avert homelessness. (Complex situation, I will not bother you with it). So, gonna be a while before I watch She-Ra again, let alone write for it, but maybe someday. After all, the original was a favorite in childhood, so I don't think I should let some bad experiences bring my love of the reboot down. Besides, some of my favorites are for this fandom... I've got a fic about Imp doing chaos while teething that I think has a legend status even though I think everybody forgets who it' was written by. I've got a fic where Hordak, Catra, Entrapta and a clone try to teach an elementary school class about the dangers of leftover war ordinances, featuring Entrapta doing some truly fightning things with landmines. And I've got an entire 18-chapter Hordak and the Scorpion Kingdom epic which had at least one faithful reader, hahah! Again, thanks. Your commentary is making a miserable time for me feel just a little bit better.

A certain thank you goes out to @sonofthedragon for all of his comments on Eighteen - a story about Hordak. I don't think it's the longest fic I've ever done.... and if I can get some personal matters revolved anytime soon, I'm definitely planning for a Trigun fanfic WIP to be longer, but... yep, I love when that happens!

Catra: It's just, damn that was fun.
Adora: ...we're still talking about when Bow and Glimmer kidnapped you, correct?
Catra: Yeah! We should do that again sometime! But, like, recreationally. As enrichment.
Adora: I'm sorry, you want our friends to kidnap you--
Catra: Well, they'll have to catch me first, that's half the fun.
Adora: So... you want our friends to hunt you...
Catra: For sport, yeah! You get it. I'm going to go ask Sparkles, she'll totally be up for it.

Of course Hordak is the Jessica Rabbit - he's tall and has got the legs, as well as the slit-cut dress. Entrapta is the goofy-goober with expressive hair that mimics Rodger's expressive ears. She's the wacky, optimistic one, while her "Jessica" (Hordak) is more serious. With Angella and Micah, Angella is the elegant one - the Jessica - while Micah is the goofiest of goobers, pulling off cartoon-silly cross-dressing illusion magic and multitudes of Dad-jokes.

I'm jealous. Our leader plays golf all the time, but he is also actively dismantling democracy, demolishing social services, criminalizing EXISTING for entire groups of people (see: latest executive order on the homeless and mentally ill - I'm in one group and due to bad circumstances in life, might be the other soon...) sending active duty troops to try to quell dissent and funding the building of / disappearing people off to legit concentration camps. I didn't vote for him. I voted the right way. Doesn't matter. Voter-suppression and other ways to sway the vote happened. Not enough people showed up. A well-bribed Supreme Court and a spineless Congress has basically made him a king. I REALLY want him to just fuck off and play golf and for his underlings not to be wannabe Gobbels and Mengeles, but here we are. Not that things are peachy-keen in the UK, but... I kind of wish you could help us. I also hope I don't die anytime soon or get disappeared. I participate in a LOT of protests.

Note: Not at ALL saying that the monarchies are a good thing, just making a note of a different take on it. Like, it isn't actually Utopia, and there is plenty of room for seeing discrimination going on, just none based on queerness that I can see. The writers just didn't want to have angst in that department, choosing to shift it to different things, such as relationships, heirarchies and religious trauma-coding.

I'm tempted to say that this is She-Ra and the Princesses of Power coded, but it kind of isn't there. There's... monarchy - as in the original series, but it's matriarchal, and while there are nuclear families (Angella, Glimmer and Micah, Bow, his Dads and his multitude of older siblings that we never see), there are plenty of just confident princesses in charge of their kingdoms, people making families of choice out in the Crimson Waste, the orphan child-soldiers of the Horde (raised communally, but it's not ideal conditions), and the fact that the title character never really has a desire to find out who her parents were (a sharp difference from the original). And... I'll not get into the clones. The clones are their own thing.
