Hey, it's me again. I've been through some shit last months and it's over now.

I even got to keep designing the FF's and I'm liking how it's getting, but there's something I need to do before that.

You see, this blog is linked to an kinda old account, and I don't want them to be linked anymore, so I'm moving to another account tomorrow. I haven't really done that account yet, I have to work on the blog's layout (I... just want it to look pretty, ok?).

Freedom Fighters is being rewritten from scratch. I wasn't exactly happy with the first chapter, and then I realized that it would be better if I rewrote the world, how Mobius functions, how the characters met, etc.

Also, I haven't updated much, and that's because I'm really busy. I hope I could show you some of the things I'm planning for this project.

Hey guys, sorry, but I deleted some pics that didn't spark me joy (?)

Just a fugly drawing and all the backstories. I changed some stuff about them but I'll wait for Freedom Fighters to be published in AO3 instead of writing them all here.

Oh, and I'm changing the designs in order to be less "SegaSonic" and have more independent characters (I'm not claiming them as my own, just changing the style enough for it to feel a lot more like a reboot.

BUT-! I'll be glad to answer your questions about this project (if it's not a spoiler).

About this project…

Ok, first off, I wanted to thank you for the following, I’m glad that you like my drawings and stuff. ‘Freedom Fighters’ is just the main example of one of my favorite hobbies: reboot pre-existing stuff when there are some things I don’t like or that could be better in the source material. I love Sonic to death, but the franchise itself is a clusterfuck. I liked SatAM a lot, but y'know,, cancelled. I was interested in the Archie universe, but daaamn it’s also a clusterfuck… and it has Penders’ masterpieces. Heck, I actually adore post-reboot Archie, but first: it was cancelled, second: characters aren’t that fleshed out and they’re kind of bland outside of some core characteristics.

It’s not to disrespect the staff behind those things, but I believe the more you’re fan of something, the more you learn about it’s mistakes. So that’s what Freedom Fighters is about! Some kind of reboot of the Sonic franchise heavily based on SatAM but mixing other elements from the games and so.

The idea was born YEARS ago as some Sonic fanfics I made when I was 9 or so (they’re officially lost for good), because I always wanted a linear Sonic cartoon, like Sonic X but without Chris and shit like that. This idea transformed a lot throughout the years and it became about the Knothole Freedom Fighters ever since I saw SatAM.

I plan publishing it on AO3 when I have the time, but I have planned entire character arcs and some plots I thought they were cool.

Also, I’m writing this because this blog came out of the blue without any introduction about myself or what is this dump full of Sonic sketches. So yeah.

I’ll update another things about Freedom Fighters eventually, and maybe some context of what is this story really about. Hope you like them! Peace.
