Yesterday was my intake with my first psychiatrist. It was a rough go of it in so many ways now that I feel things when I have to tell people my story. They agreed to swap out my meds while we work towards calming my nervous system. I full body flinch these days even at home. I've had more days than not lately when existence(existing period) is loud, painful, and feels almost impossible. So I'll lay in bed and just let myself rest.

With all that going on, I still have this amazing person in my life who is incredibly patient and supportive. We keep things pretty private online, but I look forward to seeing how things grow as we cheer each other on.

All that to say, tears aside, I'm the happiest I've been in a bit. Freshly traumatized by a few things but still able to appreciate the good around me and in me.
