Tenjho Tenge Anime: Episode 7 Part 2

When help arrives for Emi, the anime initially makes Maya’s top the same as in the manga (Pic 1), though the sole shot of her has less of it, leaving the sides out a bit. (Pic 2) The help’s naughty imagination spot of the two rivals isn’t seen before he’s knocked out.

The standout difference here is when Emi goes back to her true size - thanks to the wonders of animation, it’s a detailed affair as with her first weight gain scene. For this sequence, the shirt actually has more of a reach, able to cover her legs. Rather than the simple ‘ploop’ with the shirt threads scattering, we get her slim figure struggling as she loses control, her voice struggling as the pounds swell across her. (Pic 3)

First her cheeks puff up while she blushes. The shoulders plump up and broaden, the legs grow a little to fill out more of the shirt, and the bust begins to swell. (Pic 4) The shoulders grow round enough to pull the straps closer to the neck, with the cheeks filling and the chin starting to stick out. (Pic 5) The face fattens enough to allow for a second chin to be teased, and tears form on the top, especially along the breasts, and the right shoulder starting to bulge enough to be difficult to cover. (Pic 6)

And then Emi bursts out of the top, an explosion of bulging fat. The face reaches full roundness, complete with a line at the side of her mouth to denote her chubby cheeks. The breasts swelling greatly while managing to be contained for the sake of censorship, the belly and thighs filling out the bottom of the screen, presenting her figure as enormous and soft. As for the shirt, it’s torn apart, with not even the straps staying on. (Pics 7-9)

The scene plays out the same as before, with a recreation of a smug Emi with her arms crossed, though presenting a bit more of her to see and a closeup of her fat face. (Pic 10-11)

Her final fat shot is the same as the manga, albeit giving a more detailed look of her in a mild chibi style in the eyes rather than the panel’s dot-shaped eyes.
