Not exactly, because it just says she will die after he is born. What it was was a guarantee of life up until he was born, but at this point she's able to die at any time.

You guys... I just had the most depressing though, and it's probably just speculation, but I'm gonna post it anyway...

What if when the future-teller tells Katara, “You will die after your third great-grandchild is born,” She actually said, “You will die after your third great grand-child is born”? Like, I mean, the third grandchild that is great (aka Meelo), not the third child of a grandchild?

((I don't hate Asami, but I don't like her, either. And I don't find her "boring" and I don't think she stole Mako.

But I don't trust her.

There's a reason Bryke haven't given us a ton of characterization for her. They're hiding something about her. They've had chances to develop her character, but they haven't. There's something about her that we aren't supposed to know.

So I don't trust her.

It's for the same reason that I think we're going to recognize Amon somehow. There's a story-related reason the creators are hiding his face.))

Why is it that fans hate Asami just for being "boring" or "stealing" Mako from Korra?

How mature of the fandom to think this way… Well, guess what, if this scenario is anything like Mai and the Maiko ship (and judging by why they hate her, it is. a lot.), then you better learn to at least tolerate her.

Oh, there’s also the possibility of her being an Equalist, but I honestly don’t see her being one forever, if she even is one.
