activism framed around “we are just as CAPABLE” means that when people genuinely are less capable they are left behind. activism framed around “we are just as WORTHY” is fundamental to radical compassion.

i like dragon age 2 BECAUSE there’s no larger goal throughout the game, your companions aren’t there because there’s some evil out there that needs to be conquered, they’re there because they have a relationship with you and care about you (for better or worse)

the way the companions relate to you and to each other due to this lack of a united goal is much more relatable and fun to me as a player. i have yet to find another game that hits something even close to the dynamic companions have in da2.
