Titan had been in the mass hall for awhile now doing the usual, drinking booze from sunrise till sunset. It was the only enjoyable thing to do for him at that point in his life. His life sounded excruciatingly boring, doesn’t it? Well, not really. Some of the things he gets to do is bully the younger guild members, but not actual physical bullying because that’s bad and Titan wasn’t bad.
Titan looked around the room and his eyes immediately zoomed into the young S ranked mage, Fraust. Fraust was one of Titan’s favorite victims, he was kind of cold and gave him the reactions he’d expect from him. Mostly short and sweet, but sometimes he’s given the cold shoulder, get it? Because Fraust was an ice mage!
“Frosty flakes- I mean, Fraust!” Titan called out as he walked towards the younger mage with a big smile on his face, “Fancy seeing you here. When did you get old enough to drink, punk?” Teased Titan. He treated Fraust like his own little brother since he’s got no siblings of his own, and on top of that, Titan was quite close to the young man’s parents.
He took a seat right next to the smaller mage and looked at him, “You look pale, you need me to warm you up with a hug?” As previously mentioned, Titan loves to tease Fraust, especially with bad puns related to his ice magic. He took a huge gulp of his beer, slamming it down on the table as he finished the last bit of it. “Two more beers over here!” Titan was going to make Fraust smile today, it was one of his objectives for the day. Fraust was someone he deemed important enough to make these efforts for, so he was determined to follow through.
for: @fretitan
faust prefers hot tea over anything. however, there are some rare occurrences where faust finds himself surrounded by loud sabertooth mages, drunk out of their minds, while faust sips a bit of booze himself. even then, as close as he is, he still remains silent and watches from afar, sipping what he has at his own pace. that is, until titan comes along.
usually, this is the time where he would want to leave. titan aggravated faust to an extent where he knew it was too serious and tiring to mention. the best he could do at this time was to turn away from where titan was heading in hopes that he would be left alone… yet, his plans were foiled the moment he felt an unwanted presence next to him.
Tumblr media
ahem,        “ titan. “ he said with a hint of disdain is his tone as he eyed the uninvited male who sat down next to him with cold eyes.

WE NEED WOOD ! | Self Para
S CLASS JOB REQUEST Requested by Oak Town Citizen Description:
My stupid husband was unable to get wood as he claimed to have injured himself before traveling into the WAAS FOREST in OSHIBANA TOWN. We need it to help us make dinner and I cannot go myself as I must watch my new born baby AND my husband!
I need a weeks worth of medium sized wood for burning! If its heavy, please ask someone to come with you!! Oh, and be careful! My husband claims he saw a monster of some sort, got scared, and fell over!!
REWARD 10,000 JEWELS
Wait, how was this an S class mission? Titan wondered to himself as he looked at the job request on the bulletin board in Sabertooth's mass hall. Ask someone to come with you if it's too heavy? Rubbish. This is a one man job! Titan was quite a proud man and would not ask for help from anyone when it comes to doing jobs and tasks. His pride as a man depended on it, for the most part. Titan grabbed the paper off the bulletin board, "This one's mine!" And so that's how Titan accepted this job.
The Waas Forest wasn't too far from the guild's mass hall, so he didn't spend much time on travel. Now it was time to get down to business, not to defeat the huns, but to get this woman her hard wood. Something her husband couldn't get her. This was a job for a real man, or well, someone considerably stronger, to say the least.
And so, Titan got down to business. First order of said business was to wear gardening gloves. Splinters and crying from getting splinters wasn't manly in Titan's eyes, so it's best to avoid such a situation from happening. Second order of business, cut down the trees with his beautiful battle axe, because normal axes were too mainstream. Battle axes are also more  a e s t h e t i c ! Oh yeah, Titan also brought a battle axe with him. He never uses it since he's got some pretty decently ranged magic to use for the usual jobs he'd accepts, so this bad boy was just sitting on his wall collecting dust. There comes a time in a man's life where he needs a battle axe for no apparent reason, and so Titan got a battle axe.
Chop chop, and down came the trees! Cutting them down was the easy part, chopping them into smaller pieces with precision German engineering- I mean normal precision and not German precision, was what Titan struggled with. He'd have to sanction the tree into three sections, then from there, chop them into halves. Sounds easy for the normal wood chopping husband, but Titan was neither a husband nor good at cutting wood. What more was that he was using a battle axe. It wasn't exactly the idea weapon to use.
"Shit, How do I do this?" He looked at the logs while scratching the back of his head. Right then, the bushes to his left started shaking! Could this be one of the monster's the puny man's wife warned me about? He waited in anticipation for the creature to emerge from the bush. Titan was so ready for this, and out came a. . .  little.. tiny.. rabbit..? Wow, way to kill the mood. Titan let out an audibly loud sigh, "I was excited to fight a big, hairy, scary and maybe even smelly monster, but this is all I get? A teeny tiny rodent?" Titan mocked the tiny bunny rabbit.
The bunnies ears twitched when he heard the rodent. The bunny looked at Titan and let out a monstrous roar, like a big giant demon roar. Wait, what the fu- ?! Titan jumped a little, what the hell just happened? Did that bunny just roar? That wasn't all, though. The bunny wasn't done. The bunny started growing bigger, like a moth coming out a cocoon, but less gross and it wasn't coming out of a shell. You could literally hear the sound of bones breaking, or was that cracking from the rabbit's rapid anger growth. It was absolutely disgusting, but now Titan understood why the requester's husband tripped and fell while running away. Any normal person would run away from just the sounds alone. Vile.
By now the rabbit was about 10 feet tall, and crazy buff. Titan didn't expect this kind of development. Kind of disturbing, but he possessed holy magic, so he could technically perform and exorcism on himself, or even dowse his eyes in holy water after this is all over. The bunny looked Titan straight in the eye and flipped him off. Wow, talk about rude. Titan looked almost dead inside, he didn't want any of this. He regret taunting the rabbit, he regret all his life decisions that led up to this moment.
With a sigh, Titan picked his battle axe up and pulled his arm back, winding up for a strong throw of the axe. Bullseye! The rabbit got hit with the battle axe, right in the middle of the forehead. It died on the spot. This was almost not worth the emotional distressed caused to Titan. He had to pull the axe out of the creature's forehead before he could continue chopping up his wood. He tried to finish up chopping the wood quickly so he could go home and forget any of this ever happened.
Titan wrapped the wood in twine and string he'd brought to help keep it all together. He could easily carry that amount of wood with both of his strong man arms, but the hard part about this was the rabbit. He had to take it with him, and the only way he could do that was to fasten it to his back with his axe. It was touching his body, and he felt sick to his stomach, but he couldn't show his true emotions because that was anything but manly. He wanted to cry because he could feel it on his back, and the fact that most of it's body was dragging against the ground. He could feel everything.
Reaching the house of his employers with wood and rabbit in tow, Titan had the bright idea of presenting the beast to them! Hopefully they'd take it off his hands because if he had to bring it back to the guild, he'd probably not make it back to the guild with his sanity in tact. "I've got your wood, ma'am!" Titan tried to muster up all the energy he had left to sound cheerful. His employers were very happy with his work with the wood, the woman even ogled a little at Titan's beautiful body, which Titan himself pretended not to notice. "Oh, yes, Ma'am, I also managed to slay the beast that frightened your husband." He smiled at her as he took it off his body. If you think sonic is fast, the time it took him to take the rabbit off his body was about 100 times faster. The woman's expression went from shock to joy, "We'll eat for weeks!" she exclaimed. Wait, people think this this looked appetizing? Titan was going to lose his lunch, and probably even his appetite for dinner.
The woman took the rabbit off Titan's hands and paid him what he was owed for the wood. Titan thanked the woman for her patience, and secretly for taking that vile creature off his hands and went on his way. Before he departed for Oak Town, however, he stopped by the nearest creak and washed his axe off the blood it had on it. Today's job was a success, but it just wasn't worth the mental scarring. Never again.

Sabertooth | Self Para
Titan was lost when Weisslogia disappeared. He searched everywhere they've been together, and anywhere he thought The White Dragon might have gone off to, but he was nowhere to be found. After tirelessly searching for about a year, he finally decided to give it a break and focus of taking care of himself. He'd severely neglected taking care of himself. He'd skip meals, stay up all night and even ignore wounds he'd get while searching for his father. He was at his wit’s end, he didn't know what to do. He never actually talked or interacted with people before, and the thought of going into town just frightened him, but he didn't have much of a choice of that in that moment of time. He'd run out of food the night before and he was starving. Consuming his element was mainly for recharging his energy and not really suitable for actual meals. It wouldn't sustain his physical body.
The only thing left from the White Dragon was one of his beautiful white feathers and a necklace made from one of the dragon's broken teeth he'd given to Titan when he was younger. Titan sort of had the feeling he'd never see his father again, but was still hopeful. Maybe he had something important to do and had to rush off? But what could have been so important that he'd leave without telling his son anything? It just made no sense, and Titan hated it. He hated his thoughts, he hated how he doubted himself, but most of all, he hated how he lost the single most important person in his life.
Dirty and hungry, Titan finally mustered up enough courage to go into town. The dejected teenage boy, draped in a cloak, wearing only a torn and tattered white tank top with knee length shorts, he walked into town. He didn't own a single pair of shoes, so he was barefoot. Of course, he cleaned up before coming into town, as he thought that they wouldn't entertain a smelly boy, and he was right. Weisslogia told Titan that if he ever needed to go into town, he should wear a cloak. People wouldn't be able to tell if you were dressed well or not, so they'd have to treat you the same as everybody else.
This was the first time Titan had ever been to Oak Town. It didn't seem so bad, but the streets were quite crowded. Well, walking past people shouldn't be a problem for the most part. As he so graciously maneuvered the streets of Oak Town, Titan was constantly having his feet stepped on by people wearing shoes, which was basically everyone. His feet were hurting quite a bit, so he walked into an empty alley. He could barely feel his feet at this point since they were feeling so numb. Titan let out an audible sigh. What was he going to do now? Deep breaths, boy. People can't think when they're flustered or panicking, so he needed to calm himself down so he could come up with a plan.
"Fresh fruits! Come get your fresh fruits over here!", "Freshly baked bread, the best in town!" The vendors were calling loudly. Titan was not used to hearing so much at once, it was kind of like a sensory overload for him. The people in town were something to be able to deal with this on the daily, Titan felt a speck of admiration, but it soon died down from the sound of his stomach rumble. Well shit, he was hungry. Like very hungry. He remembered when he was younger, Weisslogia taught him that human's believed in equivalent exchange, and they had this thing called money, or currency that was used in exchange for things like food and clothes. Titan had no idea what that was, so he decided he needed to go look around and find out how it looked like and how he could get some. Well, it was time to get to work, but no way was he going to continue walking on the street when he knew his feet were going to get stepped on. How was he going to do that? He looked around and saw that most of the roofs of the houses were flat. Getting onto the house was no issue for him at all since was a good climber, he'd climbed trees for most of his life!
Now that he was on the roof now, it was time for a stakeout. Looking down at the vendor's booths, he saw people pulling something that looked like paper out of their pockets. Everyone seemed to have that, so he assumed that was what their currency looked like. Okay, first step down. Now was the trouble of getting his hands on that piece of paper.
It had been a long day, and it was already evening by the time Titan found out how most things worked around town. He was exhausted and starving. His stomach wouldn't quit rumbling , and on top of that, his feet still hurt from the those mini bulldozers called shoes. There wasn't any for him to get any money, so with a sigh, Titan made the decision to steal. He had to even though he knew it was wrong.
And so, Titan first thought of an escape route for his illegal plan. He stood beside the bread stall, and looked around. When he thought no one was looking, he grabbed a baguette and made a run for it. Unfortunately, the stall owner conveniently turned back around and saw a scruffy looking kid stealing his precious product. "Thief! Guards!" The stall owner yelled. Oh shit, now he's in for it. Titan ran and ran, but every corner he turned there were guards on the look out for him. What now? He was being cornered, he was panicking. He didn't want to fight, it took too much precious energy he didn't have.
That was it, he was surrounded, nothing to climb up or distract the guards for him to run. He had to fight. He took in a deep breath as he looked around. 1.. 2.. 3.. There were about 6 guards all around him. He didn't know what was going to happen to him, neither did he want to find out. "Give my bread back, kid! You're already surrounded. There is no escape! " Yelled the stall owner again, it seems like he was taunting Titan. Did he already think he'd won? It's a little unfair to assume such things before even giving him the chance, don't you think?  Titan closed his eyes and in that instance, his body started glowing and scales started appearing on his arms and face.
A crowd started to appear, along with a well dressed lady, fascinated by the spectacle. It doesn't appear that they've had much issue with crime recently, so everyone was craving some action. All at once, the guards started lunging toward Titan with their spears. Titan watched their movement, and in a moment, it seemed like he disappeared, but he'd actually jumped up. Titan smirked, "Slow!" immediately he jumped on one of their heads with immense force, immediately knocking him out. "I've fought kitty cats stronger than you!" He taunted. Bad move, Titan. From behind, he was grazed in the arm by one of their spears. Ouch! This was bad, their reaction times are better than he'd expected.
Titan needed to think of something fast, the guard were dealing with him a lot better than he thought they would. Their quick thinking and reaction times were surprising, considering the armor they wore. Titan didn't want to use any magic since there were a lot of people around, but he didn't know how else he could make an opening for himself. Titan jumped up high, and with a deep breath, he released a Roar of the White Dragon! He did it, he cleared a path! It's time to move. The minute his feet touched the ground, the woman from the crowd earlier punched him hard in the face, which knocked him down; then she put her heel wearing foot on him. "Stealing isn't good, kid." She said, taking the bread out of his hands. Titan pulled back on the bread as he readied to use his roar again, opening his mouth to take in a big inhale. She stomped down hard on his chest, being careful as to not stab him with her heel. Titan was a coughing mess because of this, which also resulted in him loosening his grip on the bread. With that, the mystery woman successfully immobilized him and took the bread away from him. The crowd cheered loudly. Titan had accepted defeat, but he was scared of what would happen to him. The woman looked down at him, "I'm Minerva Orland, Guildmaster of Sabertooth. You've got some interesting moves, kid." She took her foot off him then offered him a hand. "You have two choices now. Either join Sabertooth, or go to prison. Your powers could be useful to us."
Titan looked confused, why was she offering him to join her 'guild'. What was a guild even? He took her hand and was pulled up from the ground. Titan dusted himself off and looked at her, then back at the guards that were patiently waiting to restrain and detain him. Weisslogia wouldn't be happy if he came back and found Titan locked up, he didn't want to disappoint him, so he looked up at the woman, "I'm Titan. I'll trust you." He said to her, and Minerva walked over to the guards and explained that she'd be taking care of the matters on top of paying for any damage he'd caused. And so, that's how Titan joined Sabertooth.

My little Bogus Job: Friendship is Magic! | Titan & Astraeus
It was just another day in the life of a guild member. Every month it was a struggle to make end's meet, well not really since Titan can easily do most jobs, but the real struggle for him was to actually get to doing those jobs since he was such a lazy bum. Well, it was about that time of the month he was running low on cash and the following weekend he'd heard that there was going to be a crazy amount of beautiful girls gathering at one of the bars he frequents at Oak Town. There was no way he was going to miss such an opportunity to score a date with at least one of them. Hopefully. So taking on this job wasn't really much of a choice for him. It was an escort job in Clover town, and they'd specifically asked for Light Magic Users with a hefty reward of 50, 000 jewels! That amount for such an easy job? No way! From the standpoint of anyone with rational thinking, it would have sounded bogus, but not to Titan. He's a bit dumb.
The trip down to Clover Town was a breeze since it's was a stone skip away from Oak Town. Nothing interesting happened along the way, no bandits, thieves or monsters along the way which Titan was thankful for. He didn't want to exert unnecessary energy fighting or getting involved in things that he didn't have to. The meetup point for the job was a pub supposedly near the mountain trail he and an unknown partner was supposed to escort their client up. Oh yeah, he was supposed to work with a partner, but only after he'd accepted the job they'd mentioned they already had another person accept and he'd be acting as his partner. Okay, fine. As long as he got his money he was fine with whatever.
Walking up to the bar, Titan looked at the piece of paper in his hand with details of the job and meet up locations, the name and descriptions match. Okay, this looks like the place. Titan took a deep breath and walked through the doors, bracing himself for the typical smells of a shoddily maintained bar. Some smells include vomit, piss and immensely strong body odor. Disgusting. Well, he wasn't disappointed, it smelt exactly how he'd imagined. He went straight to the bar and took a seat, doesn't seem like anyone was there yet. There was a crummy illustration of what his partner was supposed to look like in the crumpled piece of paper, so that was enough to at least identify the individual, right? They definitely weren't no damn Picasso for certain, but they did try so maybe a C+ for effort?
Titan looked at the bartender, " One pint and a glass of milk please." ordered the large individual dressed in a long cloak. He's worn a jacket and tank top along with thick pants tucked into calf high boots so  it'd be easier for him on their hike.

Wait, what did he say? Old man? Did he seriously just call Titan of guild Sabertooth an old man? Oh hell no, he did not just call me that. "I'm only 30 years young, crimes against fashion turtle neck punk! Only losers wear turtle necks!" He was mad, wait no, he was more than just mad. He was angry. How dare he say such words? Like at most, Titan looks like he's in his mid twenties! That does it, he wasn't going to back down. Not only did he severely wound his pride, he also wanted to take the last tofu? Unacceptable.
Titan was going to show him who was boss, all his years of training under the White Dragon, Weisslogia was all for this moment. It's time to shine, Titan Weiss, don't disappoint your mentor. "Don't you know who I am? What's one little squirt going to do against me?" He said arrogantly, looking around the room while shrugging his shoulders ( ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) with a condescending look on his face. His objective was to get him mad, like really mad. When people become clouded with anger, they tend to lose their sense of reason and become irrational.
Titan moved up to the plate of tofu and picked it up. He moved it nearer to his face and took a big whiff of it. Just damn, it smelt so freaking good. "Ah, what a beautiful aroma, and all mine!" He eyeballed the turtleneck wearing toenail with a smirk, "What a shame you couldn't have any after coming all the way."

Dragon Slayer? More like Tofu Thief! | Titan & Igneous
In the Capital of Crocus, Titan had just finished up some errands. It was a beautiful day, not to mention how it was still early. What a perfect opportunity to grab some lunch and at one of Capital City's many esteemed pubs. Which one was he going to today? Every time he came to town, he'd be excited to try new things, new pubs and new food. Everything he's eaten in the Crocus before ranged from decent to delicious, he was never disappointed.
He'd heard there was a pretty good pub down the street from someone he's worked with before, so that's exactly where he was headed today. Hmm, looks like any ordinary pub from the outside, but it's what's on the inside that counts, right? Walking into the pub, it seemed pretty normal. The typical rowdy drunks, a bunch of travelers, beautiful bartenders and hostesses. Everything that makes a pub great. He could tell today was going to be a good day, but what he didn't know was that his intuition couldn't have been more wrong.
Titan, who was wearing a cloak covering most of his attire, sat down at an empty table near the left side of the room. As he sat down, his coat piled up on the ground since it was long. Maybe it was a good idea to take it off? Yup, it was. He took it off and hung it at an allocated cloak rack next to the wall. Raising his hand, he ordered a round of stew, beer and milk. The milk was to replenish his energy he'd used on his errand earlier, but he also really liked milk. It's how he achieved most of his height when he was younger! Chomping down on his delicious meal, he still felt hungry so what's the harm on splurging a little after a job well done, he raised his hand and with a loud voice, "One order of tofu please!" and at that exact moment, he saw someone who ordered the same thing. Well no issue, was what he thought before the hostess told him that there was only one left.
Oh no. Oh hell no. He was determined to get his hands on the tofu as it was one of the pub's signature dishes. He looked over at the other customer, glaring at him like he wanted to kill him, but obviously not because Titan isn't that kind of person. If he had laser eyes, he'd probably have already burnt a hold through his body from how intense his glare was. "The tofu is mine!" He yelled from across the room, he was not going to yield. This tofu belongs to me, and anyone who thinks otherwise will face my wrath.

The White Dragon | Self Para
Everyone’s got a story, be it sad, happy, or downright disgusting. This is Titan’s story, though it might be a little long-winded, please bear with it. Titan doesn’t remember much from when he was little, the first thing he could remember was the soft and fluffy white wings of his Dragon parent, The White Dragon Weisslogia. For whatever reason, Weisslogia took him in and decided to raise him as his own. Weisslogia would always say he only took Titan in because he was in the market for a pet, which Titan still has a hard time believing. He was probably joking to tease Titan, right? RIGHT?
Weisslogia The White Dragon was a kind soul, he was selfless and always acted in the best effort for others, he just was that kind of person. Taking in a human child was a first for him, though. It was just something about Titan was so endearing, maybe it was his paternal instinct to protect him that compelled him to take this child under his wings; or was it the guilt welling up inside him that made him do it? No one will ever be certain what his intentions were, but it was one of  the best decisions he'd made for himself. Raising a child was no easy ordeal, but it was somewhat rewarding and a happy experience for the White Dragon dad.
Before taking Titan in, Weisslogia had been flying around the country looking for a place to rest and make his home. Dragons are huge, but at the same time, they aren't a common thing to see. It's a good thing he's white, he can somewhat blend in with the clouds, but there wasn't much he could have done about his shadow. While on his search for a secluded nesting ground, he came across what he thought was a mountain pass, but he was wrong. It wasn't empty, it was a bandit hideout. No biggie, though. Bandits are tiny humans, what can they do against a dragon? Spoiler: Not much. With one swoop of his tail, all of the bandits were knocked down and out like a bunch of bowling pins. Gg ez. As he was about to depart to find somewhere not inhabited by scum of society, what emerged from the cave at the food of the mountain pass was a child, no more than 4 years old. Yup, you guessed it, that was Titan. He was the son, or well that's what Weisslogia assumed to be the son of one of the bandits.
"Oh god, what do I do now? How will this human child take care of itself?" He was panicking a little internally, but on the outside he was calm and composed, he had to, he had image to upkeep! A dragon panicking? Huh? Unheard of! So what was he supposed to do now? Use some magic ninja skills and knock the kid out too? No! That would be too cruel, oh dear, what to do? He didn't want to be blamed for child abuse, so he couldn't possibly karate chop him in the neck like they do in those kung-fu movies and have him pass out. As the White Dragon had an internal strife with himself, the toddler had walked up to him and started cuddling one of his legs. He didn't even notice until since he was so deep in thought.Wait, what was this? He looked down at his food and saw the boy falling asleep on hid soft, furry leg. Awww, how cute. He let out a soft sigh, it was time to make a decision. He looked over at the toppled bandits and then to the child, how could he possibly leave a child like this behind with them? He'd probably be malnourished for most of his life then turn to a life of crime like his dead-beat dad.
That's when he decided he needed to take this child with him, it was the only logical reason, right? It was the only one that seemed right. Damn it Weisslogia, always have to be the good guy when it's only going to be troublesome to you. Weislogia put the sleeping child in the palm of his hands and made sure he was safe before he spread his beautiful white wings and took off gently as to make sure the child wasn't in danger of  falling from such a height. He found a secluded forest to nest, finally, they were alone. "So how am I going to do this?" He sighed once more, but looking at the child and knowing he's safe from such a cruel fate he was subjected to, he felt relieved and kind of happy. You did good, Weisslogia.
He built a treehouse capable of housing them, and that's where Titan spent most of his time growing up. A year later, Titan had grown quite a bit and Weisslogia made the decision to teach him how to read and write, and on top of that, Dragon Slayer Magic. It wasn't an easy decision for him make, but he thought it would have been for the best since he thought of Titan as his own son. He spent countless hours training under the white dragon, honing and polishing his skills. Weisslogia was the kind of mentor that wants everything to be perfect, so Titan would sometimes even train past the point of exhaustion. That was when Weisslogia taught him about eating his element to recharge. It helped him recover from fatigue faster, which was a huge relied to young Titan. Year after year, their bond as father and son grew stronger, and when Titan became a teenager, he started sparring practice with his dragon dad. Ofcourse the white dragon won every single time, but with every encounter, he grew stronger, both physically and mentally. Weisslogia couldn't be prouder as a mentor and as a father.
The 7th day, of the 7th month of the year 2007, Weisslogia, The White Dragon vanished without a trace. Titan didn't know what happened, why his mentor and father left him. For about a year, he blamed himself. He went through an emo phase, but following that, he joined a guild. That guild was Sabertooth, and that was also when his healing process started. He was taught that was okay to feel the way he was feeling, but what wasn't okay was to blame himself the way he did. He learnt a lot under the guidance of his guild master and guild mates.
