Fate/Grand Order 7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon Banner Part 2
The 7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon banner just started in the Fate/Grand Order (FGO) mobile game.

This banner features the following Servants and Craft Essences or CEs:
★5-star SSR Moon Cancer Archetype: EARTH or Arcueid Brunestud (#ad) or Arc
★3-star R Alter Ego Xu Fu
★5-star SSR CE A’
★4-star SR CE Inspire
★3-star R CE Retravel
The following CEs will also be summonable, but they won’t be on rate-up:
★5-star SSR CE King of the Seraph
★4-star SR CE Hunter’s Dream
This banner goes from 2024-07-06 12:00 - 07-16 20:59 PDT (GMT -7).
This post is a continuation of another post. Had to split the posts apart since the first was getting really long and already reached the max limit of 30 pics per post.
7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon Banner Pulls Results Part 1
So far, the most notable things I got from pulling on the 7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon banner and which I talk more about in another post are the following:
multiple copies of the 3-star Retravel CE
multiple copies of the 4-star Inspire CE
multiple copies of the 5-star A' CE
multiple copies of 3-star R Alter Ego Xu Fu
2 dupes of 4-star SR CE Winter Crystal; my first copy of this hasn't been fully MLB'd yet
1 dupe of 5-star SSR CE Witchcraft; my first copy of this hasn't been fully MLB'd yet
1 dupe of 4-star SR Lancer Medusa
1 dupe of 4-star SR Assassin Emiya
1 dupe of 5-star SSR CE Devilish Bodhisattva; my first copy of this hasn't been fully MLB'd yet
first copy of 4-star SR CE Guardians of the Garden
Sadly, I have yet to get even a single copy of Archetype: EARTH.
Fate/Grand Order Pulling Resources
After pulling several times on the 7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon banner, was down to 253 Saint Quartz and 15 Summon Tickets on-hand.
Still have a lot of tickets and SQ that I can get from my present box and other such sources. Also haven’t bothered to exchange my SQ fragments into Saint Quartz.
And still have some content that I haven’t cleared so should be able to get some more pulling resources from those.
Plus, since Fate/Grand Order is currently celebrating its 7th Anniversary, we got more Saint Quartz and tickets from ongoing campaigns and gifts and such.
7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon Banner Pulls Results Part 2
Anyway, here are the results of the rest of my pulls on the 7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon banner. Only gonna list the notable stuff I get though.
Multi-draw: Got dupes of Guardians of the Garden, Retravel, Inspire, and A' as well as the usual 3-star Servants and CEs.

Multi-draw: Was surprised but pleased when a gold Rider card showed up.

That is, until it turned into a dupe of 4-star SR Rider Anne Bonny & Mary Read. My first copy of this Servant has been fully leveled to the max already, but I don’t use them so haven’t bothered to level any of their skills.

This multi also gave me 2 dupes of 4-star CEs as well as another dupe of Xu Fu.

Multi-draw: A silver Saber card showed up.

It suddenly started turning gold.

This then turned into my first copy of 4-star SR Saber Roland.

Well, at least he's new and not yet another dupe. Not sure if I have any use for him though. His NP or Noble Phantasm deals single-target damage, but I already have a NP5 4-star SR Saber Lancelot or SaberLot if I need a ST Saber. To be fair, Roland's NP is Buster-type while Lancelot's is Arts-type, so they're not exactly the same.
Anyway, here are some of 4-star SR Saber Roland’s summon lines:

Anyway, this multi also gave me 3 dupes of Inspire as well as another 4-star CE dupe and 1 more dupe of Xu Fu.

Xu Fu
After that last multi, decided to take a short break from pulling to manage my inventory like selling all the 3-star Servants I got and fusing some of the CEs I got.

Since I finally have enough copies, also took the time to get my first copy of Xu Fu to NP5. Will level her up later.

7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon Banner Pulls Results Part 3
Afterwards, went back to rolling on the 7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon banner. Here are the results of the rest of those pulls:
Multi-draw: Got 2 4-star CE dupes, including another Inspire, and a dupe of A'.

Multi-draw: A Caster card showed up, but wasn't really paying attention since it was silver, and didn't turn gold. But then it turned into a new Servant that I don't have yet.

That's right. Just got 3-star R Caster Zhang Jue. Here are some of his summon lines:

This multi also gave me more dupes of Inspire and Retravel as well as 1 4-star CE dupe. And I got a new 4-star CE called Transmutation Magecraft.

Multi-draw: Got dupes of 4 4-star CEs, including 3 more copies of Inspire. I know Inspire's on rate-up but, argh! Why does it keep showing up? At least give me A'. More importantly, Arc, doko da?

Multi-draw: Got 3 more Xu Fu dupes. She's already NP5 but the Servant Coins will still be of use. Sadly, this pull only gave me 1 4-star CE, and it was nothing more than a dupe. Sigh.

Multi-draw: A silver Rider card showed up.

It suddenly started turning gold.

This then turned into my first copy of 4-star SR Rider Dobrynya Nikitich. Well, at least she's new. But still. Seriously, where's Archetype: EARTH? Please come home already, please.

Anyway, here are some of 4-star SR Rider Dobrynya Nikitich's summon lines:

This multi also gave me dupes of A' and Zhang Jue and a dupe of a 4-star CE.

And that’s it. For this post, at least. There’s more but gonna have to talk about the rest in another post since this one already reached the max limit of 30 pics per post.
Conclusion
So, what about you? Did you pull on the 7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon banner? What do you think about Archetype: EARTH or Arcueid Brunestud? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging this post.

Fate/Grand Order 7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon Banner Part 1
The 7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon banner just started in the Fate/Grand Order (FGO) mobile game.

This banner features the following Servants and Craft Essences or CEs:
★5-star SSR Moon Cancer Archetype: EARTH or Arcueid Brunestud (#ad) or Arc
★3-star R Alter Ego Xu Fu
★5-star SSR CE A'
★4-star SR CE Inspire
★3-star R CE Retravel
The following CEs will also be summonable, but they won't be on rate-up:
★5-star SSR CE King of the Seraph
★4-star SR CE Hunter's Dream
This banner goes from 2024-07-06 12:00 - 07-16 20:59 PDT (GMT -7).
Fate/Grand Order Guaranteed Summon Function
Fate/Grand Order now has a “pity system” but it costs 900 Saint Quartz or SQ for 1 rate-up SSR. If you happen to get the rate-up SSR before spending 900 SQ, you’re not guaranteed to get another copy even if you keep pulling until you spend 900 SQ. In short, this so-called pity system sucks.
Fate/Grand Order Pulling Resources
Been saving pulling resources for what feels like forever now since, aside from Archetype: EARTH, also wanted to pull for 4-star SR Archer Anastasia & Viy, 5-star SSR Ruler Scáthach-Skaði (or Scathach-Skadi), 5-star SSR Avenger Space Ishtar (or Ishtar Ashtart or Ashtart or SpIshtar), and 5-star SSR Lancer Mélusine (or Melusine or Tam Lin Lancelot).
I did end up doing like 1 or 2 10-pulls on 1 or 2 banners. IIRC, did a 10-pull on the 5-star SSR Berserker Arjuna Alter banner and another 10-pull on the 5-star SSR Assassin Kama banner.
No, wait, I think I actually did a few more pulls on the Arjuna Alter banner. Can't remember for sure now though. But pretty sure only rolled on the aforementioned banners since the year started.
IIRC, the last time I really went all-out or all-in when it came to pulling was during Melusine's banner way back in December 2023. I talk more about that here and here.
Anyway, I think I should have enough to pity Arc considering how long I've been saving, but don't actually know the exact amount of SQ and tickets I have. That's because if I got them in my present box, then I just leave them there to help avoid the temptation of pulling.
Also haven't bothered to exchange my SQ fragments into SQ. And if there are SQ or ticket rewards that don't have an expiration date, then I just leave them all unclaimed for now.
Still have some content that I haven't cleared so should be able to get some more pulling resources from those.
Plus, since Fate/Grand Order is currently celebrating its 7th Anniversary, we got more Saint Quartz and tickets from ongoing campaigns and gifts and such.

Hopes for the 7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon Banner
Since there are a lot of other Servants who I want to get aside from Arc, I'm hoping that I won't have to pity her.
I've heard that her damage is sadly not that good, so I'm also hoping that I can get more than 1 copy of her to increase her Noble Phantasm or NP levels. Being able to get her to NP5 would be really great, of course, but that might be too much to hope for unless a miracle happens or something. LOL.
7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon Banner Pulls Results
Currently have 403 SQ and 65 Summon Tickets on-hand. Here are the results of my pulls on the 7th Anniversary Archetype: EARTH Pickup Summon banner. Only gonna list the notable stuff I get though.
Started with the tickets I have on-hand.
First 10 tickets: The first one gave me my first copy of the 4-star SR Inspire Craft Essence.

The third one gave me a dupe of the 4-star SR CE called Necromancy. Already have a copy of this that's fully MLB with like 1 or 2 extra copies. The rest of the pulls were all the usual silver trash.

10 tickets: Got 2 dupes of Inspire. Also got a new 3-star CE called Unwithering Flower.

The rest were all the usual dupes.

10 tickets: Got a Inspire dupe again. Also got a dupe of this 4-star CE called Winter Crystal. Haven't fully MLB'd this CE yet, and it's actually pretty good, so I welcome this dupe.

A Alter Ego card also showed up.

It's silver so I knew right away that I was about to get my first copy of Xu Fu.

Here are some of 3-star R Alter Ego Xu Fu's summon lines:

10 tickets: Got my first 2 copies of the Retravel 3-star CE plus yet another Inspire dupe and my second copy of Xu Fu.

One of the tickets from this set also gave me my first copy of the 5-star SSR CE A'.

10 tickets: Sadly, got nothing noteworthy from this set of tickets. Just the usual 3-star dupes of Servants and Craft Essences.

By now, was down to 15 tickets. Decided to try a multi-draw next using Saint Quartz.
This pull gave me 2 dupes of A' and Retravel. Also got a dupe of this 4-star CE called With One Strike. Already have a copy of this that's fully MLB.

Multi-draw: Got another Inspire dupe. I think I should be able to fully MLB this by now. Got a dupe of this 4-star CE called Code Cast which isn't really good so meh. Also got a dupe of this 5-star CE called Witchcraft.

Multi-draw: Was pleased when I saw a gold Lancer card show up.

That is, until it turned into a dupe of 4-star SR Lancer Medusa. My first copy of her has been fully leveled to the max already, but I don't use her so haven't bothered to level any of her skills.

A gold Assassin card also showed up from this multi.

It soon turned into a dupe of 4-star SR Assassin Emiya. I don't use Emiya either so was also disappointed when I saw him.

Ahh, if I was gonna get dupes anyway, I wish I could get dupes of Servants who I actually use. Better yet, wish I could just get Arc already.
It was nice to see a lot of golds in a multi. It's just too bad that none of these Servants and CEs were all that particularly useful to me. Sigh.
Anyway, this pull also gave me 2 dupes of 4-star CEs, including yet another Inspire. Also got a new 3-star CE as well as another dupe of Xu Fu.

Multi-draw: Got 2 dupes of 4-star CEs, including another Winter Crystal. Also got a dupe of this 5-star CE called Devilish Bodhisattva and another Retravel dupe.

Multi-draw: Got my first copy of a 4-star SR CE called Guardians of the Garden.

Also got a dupe of another 4-star CE plus the usual dupes of 3-star Servants and Craft Essences.

And that’s it. For this post, at least. There’s more but gonna have to talk about the rest in another post since this one already reached the max limit of 30 pics per post.

War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Mini Review
Started playing the War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius (WotV: FFBE) mobile game sometime during its collaboration event with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (#ad). To be more precise, started a few days or so after the start of the Sephiroth (from Final Fantasy VII) banner.
I talk more about this in another post, but I pulled for Sephiroth as well as Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. This is a continuation of that post since already reached the max limit of 30 pics per post there.
To the Lifestream Vision Card
There are a few Vision Cards that came with the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children collab. One of these Vision Cards is called To the Lifestream.
This Vision Card features Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII and Kadaj, but it's intended to be used by Sephiroth and Kadaj.

I wish this Vision Card featured Sephiroth and Kadaj instead, especially since this isn't even good for Cloud. Plus, he's already featured in the other Vision Cards that came with this collab.
Sephiroth is featured in another one of the Advent Children Vision Cards, but sadly, that one isn't really good for him.
Since the To the Lifestream Vision Card is good for Kadaj and Sephiroth, decided to pull for it.
There is a 1-time only Step Up 10x Summon banner for the To the Lifestream Vision Card.

This banner has 3 steps. Step 3 is guaranteed to give you 25 To the Lifestream Vision Card shards.

Unfortunately, this banner doesn't guarantee that you will get a copy of the Vision Card in question so just had to hope that I'll get lucky, otherwise will need to pull on another one of the To the Lifestream banners.

To my relief, was actually lucky this time since I was able to get my first copy of the To the Lifestream Vision Card on step 2.

Continued on to step 3 so I could get the 25 To the Lifestream Vision Card shards.

New Player Resources and Free Pulls
As a new player, got lots of resources, login bonuses and rewards, free pulls and such.
The game seems pretty generous, and it is, but honestly, without all these rewards and bonuses and such, the new player experience here will be really bad.
For example, one of the things I got when I first started playing War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius was millions of gil. So I thought it would take a long time before I ever needed to worry about gil, but I soon realized that nearly everything in this game either requires gil or vis or visiore and/or both.
Like even upgrading the abilities of chars costs gil. And each char has multiple abilities. Naturally, the higher the level, the higher the cost.
Anyway, as a new player, also got access to banners that give you fully leveled chars and Vision Cards. IIRC, it costs like 2k vis to pull on these banners and there's a limit as to how many times you can pull before these banners will disappear.
Before pulling on these banners, you get to pick which char or Vision Card you want to get. You'll then get said char or Vision Card in the guaranteed slot. Of course, the selection doesn't include limited and collab units.
Still, these were pretty good deals. Having 1 or 2 or 3 fully built chars and Vision Cards helps a lot. This is especially so since it can actually take a really long time to finish maxing out chars and Vision Cards, especially if they're not currently on rate-up.
As for the free pulls - it's great to have lots of free pulls, but the pool in this game is really bloated already, and there are lots of chars and Vision Cards that are already outdated and powercrept. The rates also seem pretty bad. At least WotV has a pity system, but still.

We may get lots of free pulls, but they're not all that helpful if most of the stuff you get from said pulls are all old and useless. After all, there's no point in trying to max out chars and Vision Cards that aren't usable anymore.

But, to be fair, I did get lucky in some of my free pulls.

I remember getting like 2 or so dupes of Sephiroth thanks to the free pulls from his banner.

This really helped a lot because a dupe will turn into 40 shards of that char.

Sephiroth and Kadaj Shards
As mentioned, I pulled for both UR or Ultra Rare One-Winged Nightmare Sephiroth (FFVIIAC) and Ultra Rare Avenger against the Planet Kadaj.
Needed their shards in order to Limit Break them. Each char can be Limit Broken 5 times. You need a char's shards as well as Rainbow Vision Spheres in order to Limit Break them. Below is a list of the exact amount of materials needed to Limit Break a char:
Limit Break 1: 40 shards + 1 Rainbow Vision Sphere
Limit Break 2: 80 shards + 1 Rainbow Vision Sphere
Limit Break 3: 120 shards + 2 Rainbow Vision Spheres
Limit Break 4: 160 shards + 2 Rainbow Vision Spheres
Limit Break 5: 200 shards + 3 Rainbow Vision Spheres
Don't know where and how I got Rainbow Vision Spheres, but apparently, I currently have more than enough for both Kadaj and Sephiroth. I think maybe I got these as part of the new player rewards and such.
Either way, the problem was not having enough Sephiroth and Kadaj shards.
Since those 2 are currently on rate-up, their shards are available in multiple shops. You can use either paid vis or regular vis to acquire these shards.
There are also around 80 shards or so that can be bought using gil. You can also get a few shards (1 or 2?) a day from chars that are in the Barracks.
Had to grind for more vis so I can buy the aforementioned shards in the shop.
But wait, there's more. A whole lot more. There's also Awakening chars and leveling up their Jobs and such, but will talk more about that later.
Anyway, aside from shards, chars also need Mindspheres. Once you get a char to level 99, you will need even more resources, including Mindspheres, to get them to level 120 and then after that to level 140.
Thankfully, Kadaj and Sephiroth share the same Mindspheres. Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII and Cloud, the other playable chars that came with the Advent Children collab event, also use the same Mindspheres.
Once you finish fully Limit Breaking a char, if you get more of their shards, they will automatically be turned into their Mindspheres.
Since the Advent Children chars share the same Mindspheres, their shards will all turn into [FFVIIAC] UR Unit Mindspheres.
Sephiroth Shard Banner
Since I needed more [FFVIIAC] UR Unit Mindspheres, I decided to pull on the 2-times only 4-Step 10x Summon Ultra Rare One-Winged Nightmare Sephiroth (FFVIIAC) banner.

I talk more about this in another post, but I already pulled once on this banner. So I can only do one more lap before this banner disappears.
Anyway, step 3 of this banner is guaranteed to give you 40 [FFVIIAC] UR Unit Mindspheres while step 4 is guaranteed to give you 40 Sephiroth (FFVIIAC) unit shards.

Every time you pull on this banner, you’re guaranteed to get 100 FFVIIAC Unit Summon Medal C for each step. You can exchange these mdeals for various items in the shop, including more Sephiroth shards.

So I pulled on this banner again and, luckily, got a dupe of Sephiroth on step 1.

By now, I've already finished Limit Breaking Sephiroth, so every time I get more of his shards, they automatically turned into [FFVIIAC] UR Unit Mindspheres.

Also got another Sephiroth dupe on step 4. Yay for more [FFVIIAC] UR Unit Mindspheres.

Thoughts About the War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Gameplay
I thought the gameplay in War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius wasn't that good. I don't know. Maybe it's because, at the moment, I prefer something more casual and easy. But in WotV, it feels like there's way too much going on.
Like you form a team of up to 4 chars, and you can even choose to bring in a friend support. These chars all have multiple abilities, some of which require TP while others require AP. Each char gets their own turn where you can move them on the field then decide which one of their abilities to cast.
You can see the names of these abilities as well as how much AP or TP is required to use them, but there's no way to know what these skills do until you tap on the magnifying glass that's next to them for more info.
Maybe it's just because I'm new and still not used to how things work in this game, but it does feel kinda overwhelming having so many abilities to choose from and having to like check each one just to figure out which one does what and then try to decide which one to use.
Thankfully, the game has this Recommended Abilities feature thing. As the name suggests, it highlights a recommended ability that a char can use each turn. There's also auto-play, which really helps.
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Art
I like the 2D art in War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. They're very nice to look at.
But the 3D art, not so much. I don't know. It feels like the 3D art could have been done better.
The sprites of the chars during battle look well enough, I suppose. But I don't like it when they use their buffs and suddenly, their entire body gets a different color so it makes it harder to see them clearly.

War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Animation
I've seen some of the animations in this game like the Limit Burst of some chars. Limit Bursts are like the Noble Phantasms in the Fate/Grand Order (FGO) mobile game except they can only be used once.
I thought these animations look pretty nice. The only problem was that they aren't voiced at all. They don't even have any music to go with them.
Wish that wasn't the case at all. At the very least, they could have made the chars say something generic or something.
For instance, Sephiroth actually has a couple of lines that he cycles through in battle like when you use his abilities and such, so why couldn't they have had him say one of these lines whenever he uses his Limit Burst?
youtube
And it's sad that they couldn't even be bothered to add like Sephiroth's One-Winged Angel theme either so watching his Limit Burst animation isn't nearly as good as it could have been.
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Summon Animation
When you summon a Ultra Rare char in War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, the animation includes them walking a bit and then posing in front of the screen.
This is pretty nice, but I'm disappointed that, once again, there's no audio to go with this animation. It's just the char walking and posing, and that's it. Wish there was at least some dialogue and music to go with it.
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Audio and Voice Lines
The story in this game is voiced, which is nice. But it looks like Japanese audio is the only option.
I prefer Japanese audio with English subtitles, so this isn't really a problem for me, but after seeing how mobile games like Honkai: Star Rail (HSR) and Reverse: 1999 (R1999) give you multiple language options, I thought it would have been nice if WotV offerred the same thing.
When I got Sephiroth and Kadaj and even Ultra Rare Witness to the Way Forward Tifa (FFVIIAC), looked forward to being able to hear their lines and listen to their voices.

So was kinda disappointed when I soon discovered that they didn't have a lot of lines. And it seemed like they basically just cycled through a couple of lines over and over again.
There isn't even a way in-game to look at a list of all of their voice lines. There's no translation or subtitles either. They just say their lines in Japanese and that's it.
Their "profile" also basically just consists of a few sentences of information along with the name of their voice actor or actress.

Then there's how you can select a char to display on the Home Screen, which is nice. But once again, they cycle through the same lines over and over again, which gets boring fast. And sadly, you can't really interact with them.
Overall, this was pretty disappointing, especially when compared to other games like FGO where each Servant has multiple lines, different art for each Ascension, and more.
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Story
The good news is that the cutscenes in War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius are pretty short. The bad news is that the story in this game turned out to be really bad.
It didn't seem that way at first though. At first, I thought the story here seemed pretty interesting and okay enough. Too bad that didn't last long at all since the story quickly went downhill.
Warning for spoilers for the WotV storyline below.
After a bit of introduction to the world in this game, players soon got to meet 2 brothers named Mont Leonis and Sterne Leonis. Both are also princes and apparently twins as well.
There was also a princess (named Machérie) from another kingdom (Hourne) who was traveling via carriage. She and her guards are then attacked by lots of bandits, but we soon find out that she's capable of fighting and defending herself.
Back in the kingdom of Leonis, the king, Oelde, receives a report about a bandit attack.
Here's where things start falling apart. Because Oelde decides that he and Mont plus a few other men are going off to take care of these bandits. But that doesn't make sense at all.
He's the king. Why should he be the one to personally go and deal with these bandits? Why couldn't he just send someone else to deal with this?
Even if he knew that Machérie Hourne was the one who was being attacked, it still doesn't make sense why he'd want to go fight the bandits.
On top of that, he even refuses to let his other son, Sterne, go with him to help. And he refuses to give a satisfactory and believable reason as to why.
Later, we'd keep hearing about how good Sterne is, and how he's apparently the better fighter or warrior between him and Mont, so based on that, it's all the more confusing why Oelde refuses to send him to battle.
As for Mont - he's clearly the protagonist, which shouldn't have been a problem except for the fact that it seems like basically everyone loves praising him and going on and on about how good and kind he is, how much potential he has, how he's improving and getting better, how great he is, and blah, blah, blah. All that got old and annoying really quickly.
It didn't help that, at the moment, Mont doesn't come across as all that interesting. He's kinda bland and boring, actually. Sure, he's nice and kind, and he apparently has all the traits that a typical protag has, but that doesn't really make him interesting nor does it differentiate him from the usual hero.
And the story really needs to stop telling me how much potential he has and how much better he'll become in the future. Show, don't tell. And stop repeating it all the time.
I also didn't like how it seemed like most of the women were in love with him. Like he and Machérie just met, and yet it seems that she likes him already for seemingly no reason. It's also already clear from the get-go that these 2 will end up together, or at least it seems that way.
But I wish the game wasn't so blatant about that. I guess they're going for the love-at-first-sight trope, but I wish there was more about the 2 getting to know each other better first.
Machérie is one thing, but then we soon find out that apparently, even the ninjas (Kitone and/or Lynx) also like Mont. So I thought it was getting ridiculous how it seems like everyone's in love with Mont.
As for Sterne - for now, I kinda like him more than Mont simply because he seems so under-appreciated, like he's clearly the underdog with how most people seem to favor his brother. Even his own father seems to favor Mont.
We don't know much about Sterne yet other than how good he apparently is in battle, but from the way he's being treated and neglected, I'm already thinking, I know where this is going. He's gonna turn evil, isn't he?
As I continued playing through the story, I started seeing how some parts of it seem kinda similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) Thor movie.
Warning for possible spoilers for the Thor movies below.
Mont is Thor, the favored son, the clear hero of the story. Sterne is Loki, the forgotten and neglected second son. Oelde is Odin, the king and father who appears to favor one son over the other. Helena is Frigga, the queen and loving mother.
We're even shown how Sterne really cares about his mother, Helena, just like how Loki cares about his mother, Frigga.
Also, I noticed that Oelde, Mont, and Helena all have basically the same hair color - what appears to be this light shade of brown - while Sterne is the only one who has dark hair. This is just like how Thor, Frigga, and Odin are all blond while Loki is the only one with dark hair. Well, Odin is old so his hair is all white now.
Anyway, considering what happened in the Thor movies, it made me wonder if Sterne would also turn out to be adopted just like Loki.
Another thing I noticed was the fact that the Leonis throne room only has 1 throne, and it's Oelde who gets to sit in it. Helena stands next to him so at first, didn't think she was actually the queen. Like, why couldn't there be another throne for the queen?
Overall, as I continued playing through the story, the urge to just hit the skip button kept rising and rising. The story was really starting to piss me off. The actions of the chars weren't making sense like how Oelde refuses to let Sterne help, and was getting so annoyed with how everyone keeps going on and on about how great Mont is.
So far, managed to stop myself from skipping, mostly thanks to the fact that the cutscenes were all pretty short. In fact, the battles seem to last longer than these cutscenes even with the fights being set to 2x speed.
Since the cutscenes are so short, it also feels like the chars and plot aren't fully fleshed out. For instance, I wish the story had elaborated more on the motives of the characters like why they're doing what they're doing.
Much, much later: argh! Continued playing through the story, and the more I keep going, the more it feels like it keeps getting worse and worse.
There was this part wherein the kingdom of Leonis is fighting against the kingdom of Fennes. After a bit of fighting, Oelde decides that the best course of action is to retreat. Even now, he still refuses to send Sterne to battle.
And even now, I still have no idea just what the eff Oelde is thinking. What's he planning? Why does he refuse to let Sterne fight?
I also wondered why he decided to retreat instead of continuing to fight. I thought he'd have some sort of plan to turn the tides or something, but apparently, he doesn't have one.
Or, well, he does, but this plan doesn't make sense at all. Because once Oelde gets back to the castle, he says what's gonna happen now is that he and Mont are running away.
Yeah, that's right. He plans to leave his wife and second son to the mercy of the invading Fennes army while he runs away with his other son. Like, seriously, what kind of plan is this?
He must be one of the worst kings ever to abandon his own people. As if that wasn't bad enough, he couldn't even be bothered to bring his entire family with him.

Seriously, what the eff kind of plan is that? How is that gonna help? Even if Oelde wants to run away, why won't he bring Helena and Sterne with him? How does he know those 2 won't immediately be killed once the invading Fennes forces show up?
None of this makes sense, and it's so infuriating. Can't blame Sterne at all for being absolutely furious with his dad for abandoning him and his mother.
Even Mont doesn't agree with his dad's actions. Except he shows just what a spineless doormat he is by going along with it anyway. He's concerend for his mother and brother, but he still does what Oelde says anyway.
There were some people who accompanied Mont and Oelde when they ran away. Every time Oelde would give orders, these people would readily follow them, which just made me wonder why. Like why would anyone want to follow someone like this? Someone who abandoned his people and his family, someone whose plans don't make any sense at all.
Kept going through the story although I was all the more tempted to just skip because this really was completely and utterly frustrating. It was all so annoying and infuriating.
A bit later on, I think I finally reached my limit. I just couldn't take it anymore. The story was really pissing me off so I decided it was for the best if I just skipped it.
IIRC, I stopped sometime after Sterne got this evil armor and was making plans to kill his father. Him wanting to kill Oelde was going too far, but it's understandable why he'd be mad at his father, why he'd feel abandoned and neglected because that was exactly what happened.
His own father left him and his mother. Even before that, it already seemed like his father favored his brother over him, what with always choosing Mont and not even letting Sterne fight even though all Sterne wanted to do was help his family.
The annoying and frustrating thing was that it seemed clear the game wanted me to side with Oelde, as if what he was doing was perfectly reasonable except it totally wasn't, and I just couldn't understand the reason for his actions at all.
So I didn't like how it seemed like Sterne being mad at his dad was wrong. I also thought I could see where this was going already with Sterne turning to evil, maybe or most likely fighting with his dad and Mont just like Loki and Thor, and then probably having a redemption arc later on.
But I couldn't say I liked where this was going, like the plot wasn't really clicking with me. Also, really wasn't liking Mont, especially with how it seems like the game keeps trying to praise him and go on and on about how good he is, and how everyone seems to like him. It was all getting too annoying so I opted to just skip. Maybe I'll get back to it later, but definitely not now.
Things to Like About War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
Here are some of the things that I like about War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius:
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Collaboration Event
I like the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children collab event. This was the reason why I even bothered to try out this game. I hope they do more collabs with FF7 and even with other Final Fantasy series.
Also, I hope they rerun the Final Fantasy VII collab event that happened before. It's too bad that I missed out on that event.
Auto and Background Farming Features
The auto-play and background farming features in WotV make it easier to go through quests and farm for the items and materials you need.
Skip Tickets
After clearing a quest and completing all its missions, you can use skip tickets to keep clearing said quest over and over again.
Pity System
Glad this game has a pity system so you can eventually get the char and/or Vision Card you're pulling for even if you have bad luck.
Things to Dislike About War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
Here are some of the things that I dislike about War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius:
Grindy
WotV is so, so, so grindy even when considering the fact that it has auto-play and background farming features. Honestly, without said features, the game might actually be unplayable due to how grindy it is.
Item Drop Rates
It doesn't help at all that the item or material drop rates in this game seem to be really bad.
I thought the game was being really generous when I found that I had hundreds of skip tickets for story and event quests and, I guess it is, but it's also true that with how bad the drop rates are, it's possible to quickly go through a lot of skip tickets at once and still not get the item you're looking for.
Banner Pull Rates
Speaking of awful rates, the rates for chars and Vision Cards also seem really bad. And the pool is so bloated with old and outdated chars and Vision Cards.
PVP
Not really interested in PVP. In fact, haven't bothered to try the PVP in this game yet, especially since my chars aren't fully built and maxed out yet, and don't have a lot of equipment and such yet.
Crashing
There are times when WotV suddenly crashes or hangs then crashes. Not sure what's causing this, but it's really annoying. Also, as far as I can recall, this has only ever happened in this game. Never got a crash in any other mobile game I've played, not even in Honkai: Star Rail.
Character Progression
As mentioned above, each char needs an exorbitant amount of shards in order to fully Limit Break them. But that's not all a char needs. They also need various other materials in order to fully Awaken them to the max. Then you also need to spend multiple other resources to level them up.
The max level they can get to is 140, but you need to finish Awakening and Limit Breaking them first before you can even get past certain levels.

Each char has 3 Jobs, and you also need to level up these Jobs. Each char also has multiple abilities that need to be unlocked then maxed out. Naturally, even more resources and such are rquired to max out a char's Jobs and abilities.
Then there's also this thing called Transcendence and Reincarnation, which are even more ways to further upgrade each char. Oh, and there are EX Jobs too.

In short, this is way too much that it borders on ridiculous. It's also complicated like there's way too much going on here.
Espers, Vision Cards, Equipment, and More
But wait, there's more. Chars also need equipment, espers, and Vision Cards.
Equipment can be crafted, but you need like 64 recipes to be able to craft the max version of said equipment. You also need multiple other items to craft equipment. Naturally, this means lots and lots of farming over and over again.
Espers also need to be leveled and maxed out. They go up to 3 stars, but you need materials to increase their stars and levels. You also need items to max out their boards, which gives stats and such to chars equipped with said esper.
Vision Cards require shards to be awakened. They also need to be leveled.
There are also these things called Truststones. So, yeah, it really feels like there's way too much going on in this game, like it's unnecessarily complicated.
I also didn't like how it seems like the game really wants you to spend for like every little thing because it feels like everything here requires either gil or vis and/or both.
Like simply getting a copy of a char isn't enough because you also need a lot of their shards, which means having to spend more vis.
Kadaj and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
As a Cost: 100 char, Sephiroth was supposed to be really good. Kadaj is only a Cost: 90 char though so he's unfortunately not that good.
Didn't really care about that though. Started this game because of those 2 so was going to build them and max them out whether they were good or not.
So I readily spent all my resources for those 2 even if it may not be efficient to do so.

Also made sure to get and craft the weapons that came with the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children collab event. For Sephiroth, that would be his Masamune while for Kadaj, it's his Souba.
Thankfully, after what feels like a lot of grinding and farming, managed to get both Kadaj and Sephiroth to level 140. Maxed out all their Jobs and EX Jobs too. Leveled up most of their abilities.

So there's still a lot of room for improvement. Like I tried the Reincarnation thing, but apparently you can do that several times. Naturally, it requires an exorbitant amount of resources because of course it does. Man, this game. LOL.
Anyway, I suppose one can say they're sort-of maxed out already. Like for their abilities, I've already maxed out the ones they're currently using. Once I get more resources, I can max out the rest.
Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
As for Tifa, the game gave us 1 copy of her for free. So far, managed to finish fully Awakening her. Got to Limit Break her a few times, but I ran out of Tifa (FFVIIAC) unit shards so she's now stuck at level 79/79.

Focused on getting Sephiroth's and Kadaj's shards so didn't really have any vis left to spare for Tifa's shards. As such, only really bought her shards that cost gil. Also got some for free from completing her challenge mission board.
I put her in the Barracks alongside Sephiroth and Kadaj so now it's just a long, long wait until I can get enough shards to finish Limit Breaking her.
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Plans
Around the time I realized just how grindy this game was, especially once the new player rewards and resources and such ended, I thought to myself that I probably wouldn't be playing this for long. It was all the more reason to just use whatever resources I had to quickly max out Kadaj and Sephiroth.
I was thinking I'd quit soon after the end of the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children collab event then maybe just come back again for the next collab or something.
Even if I didn't quit, I'd already decided that I wasn't going to bother with the meta and such in this game. Was going to be super casual and just not care, especially since, as a new player, it feels like it's impossible to catch up, what with how grindy this game is and how building chars requires so many resources.
Conclusion
So what about you? What do you think about the War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius mobile game? What do you think about its collab with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children?
Did you pull for Kadaj, Sephiroth, Tifa Lockhart, and/or Cloud Strife? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius x Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Collaboration Event
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius (WotV: FFBE) is a mobile game co-developed by Square Enix and Gumi Inc. and published by Square Enix.
Here’s why I decided to try out this game, or how I ended up trying out this game.
Introduction
Heard about War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius before, but wasn't interested in trying it out since I was already playing other mobile games like Fate/Grand Order (FGO), Final Fantasy Brave Exvius (FFBE), and Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO).
Also I heard some bad things about this game like how grindy it is.
Then, much, much later, I heard it was gonna have a collab event with Final Fantasy VII. And Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 will be one of the playable chars to be added to WotV.
That made me think about trying out WotV. But sadly, never got the chance to do so.
After that, didn't really bother to keep up with news about WotV.
So the next time I heard about War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, it was about its upcoming collaboration event with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (#ad). This collab will come with another playable version of Sephiroth. Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will also be added to the game.
Can't remember for sure now, but when I heard about this upcoming collab event, I think DFFOO had already ended its service.
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius x Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Collaboration Event
I talk more about this in other posts, but after DFFOO ended its service, I tried other mobile games like Punishing: Gray Raven (PGR), Reverse: 1999 (R1999), and Honkai: Star Rail (HSR).
When I heard about the upcoming Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children collab event in War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, thought about finally giving this game a try, especially after finding out that both Kadaj and Sephiroth will be playable chars.
Those 2 were also playable chars in DFFOO, and I guess I just miss that game. Had both Sephiroth and Kadaj fully built and maxed out there, and I used both pretty often. Ahh, wish DFFOO didn't have to end. Sigh.
Anyway, so was on the lookout for more details about the aforementioned collab event such as when it would start in the Global or English version of the game.
After seeing the collab event schedule, decided I would try out WotV once the Sephiroth banner started. By then the Kadaj banner would have started already.
First War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Account
Started playing War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius maybe a few days or so after Sephiroth's banner dropped.
WotV gives new players 10k visiore or vis if you use one of those friend invite code things, so that, plus the vis I got from starting the game, including day 1 login rewards and such, let me pull a few times on the Sephiroth banner as soon as the option to do so became available.

Thankfully, was able to get my first copy of UR or Ultra Rare One-Winged Nightmare Sephiroth (FFVIIAC) before all that vis ran out.

Here are some more pics of Sephiroth's summon lines and animation:

The pic above has the following words:
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
I will never be a memory.

Used the remaining vis to pull on Kadaj's banner. But wasn't left with that much vis (started with 17,900 which soon went down to 3,900) by the time I got Sephiroth so was only able to do like 1 multi on Kadaj's banner before running out of visiore.
Since I wasn't able to get Kadaj, resumed playing through the story and doing whatever other content I could to get more visiore.
At the same time, was also working on leveling up Sephiroth and trying to max him out.
It didn't take long to realize that, in this game, having 1 single copy of a char wasn't enough to be able to fully build and max them out because you also need their shards as well as plenty of other items and materials.
You can get a few shards a day from the Barracks feature. But considering each char needs hundreds of shards to fully max limit break them, this feature isn't good if I want to be able to power up Sephiroth now or as soon as possible.
It quickly became clear that I actually need to spend vis to get shards. So aside from spending vis to pull on Kadaj's banner, will also need even more visiore to be able to get Sephiroth's shards. Then, once I do get Kadaj, will also need his shards if I want to build him.
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Collab Event Banners
This made me think that I should have pulled on the banners that gave shards instead of the ones with the pity gauge.
There are a lot of banners that are currently available in War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. There are even banners which require paid visiore.
The Sephiroth banner I pulled on has a pity gauge which increases by 5% after each 10x summon. Once the gauge becomes full or gets to 100, your next 10x summon is guaranteed to include Sephiroth.
But there is another Sephiroth banner. This one is a 4-step 10x summon banner. Each step can only be done twice. Step 3 is guaranteed to give you 40 [FFVIIAC] UR Unit Mindspheres while Step 4 is guaranteed to give you 40 Sephiroth (FFVIIAC) unit shards.

The only problem is that this banner doesn't have a pity gauge. But every time you summon here, you're guaranteed to get 100 FFVIIAC Unit Summon Medal C for each step.

You can get these medals on the other Sephiroth banner too. You can exchange these medals for various items in the shop, including more Sephiroth shards. You can also exchange for a copy of Sephiroth in this shop but you'll need 2k medals to do so.
Second War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Account
Thought about starting another WotV account. Only been playing for a day or 2, but it already felt like I ended up wasting some resources. It's not just needing more vis to get shards. It was also the fact that it soon became clear that pretty much everything in this game requires either vis or gil or both, and the cost of stuff here is astronomically high.
Also, I wouldn't realize this until I started all over again, and read through the information again, but apparently, it even costs gil to borrow a support char unless you're borrowing from a friend.
In the select a support char screen, you can see gil at the bottom of every available support. I was under the impression that I was going to get that gil for using the support char so always made sure to pick the ones that give the highest amount. Little did I know that doing that was actually causing me to lose gil. LOL.
Anyway, it also felt like my 1st account was kinda unlucky since it took me a lot of vis before I was able to get Sephiroth, and I couldn't even get Kadaj yet.
So it was all the more reason to try to start over. Logged out of my 1st account then tried to create a new account.
This time, I went to the 4-step 10x summon Sephiroth banner. If I can't get Sephiroth by the time I finish pulling twice on this banner, then the plan was to reroll and try again.
Thankfully, Step 3 gave me my 1st copy of Sephiroth.

Did the Step 4 pull too to get the 40 Sephiroth shards.

I could do the 4-step 10x summon again, but opted not to for now so I could use the rest of my vis to try pulling for Kadaj next.
Since I was able to get Sephiroth and even some of his shards soon enough while still having some vis left, decided to stick with this account.
Kadaj Banners
The shard banner for Kadaj is a 1-time only 9-step 10x summon.

Steps 3 and 6 will give 40 Kadaj shards while Steps 4 and 7 will give 40 [FFVIIAC] UR Unit Mindspheres.

Pulled on this banner until I got to Step 7. After that, switched to pulling on the Kadaj banner with the pity gauge.

Just kept going through the story to get more vis to pull. On one hand, it was too bad that I had yet to get Kadaj. But on the other hand, at least the B-type FFVIIAC Unit Summon Medals I get every time I pull on the Kadaj banners will let me get more of his shards.
The pity gauge was at 25/100 when I finally got my first copy of Ultra Rare Avenger against the Planet Kadaj.

Here are some more pics of Kadaj’s summon lines and animation:

The pic above has the following words:
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
We will join as a family and strike back at the planet!

Tifa Lockhart Banners
Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII is another playable char that came with this collab event. But unlike Sephiroth and Kadaj, you can get Ultra Rare Witness to the Way Forward Tifa (FFVIIAC) for free.

There is a 1-time only Tifa (FFVIIAC) guaranteed free 10x summon banner.

Here are some more pics of Tifa’s summon lines and animation:

The pic above has the following words:
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
Words aren't the only thing that tell people what you're thinking...

I thought it was nice that we got Tifa for free. But the only thing we got for free is one copy of the unit. So if you want to build Tifa, you still need to get her shards.
No wonder there are also other Tifa banners that are similar to the Kadaj and Sephiroth banners.
Tried to build Tifa too, but my priority is still Sephiroth and Kadaj. Will focus on fully building and maxing out those 2 first before anyone else since they're the reason I started playing this game in the first place.
Cloud Strife Banners
Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII is another playable char that came with the Advent Children collab. His banner was still up when I joined the game but opted not to pull for him since was still focused on trying to max out Kadaj and Sephiroth.

Even just focusing on 2 (or 3, if you count Tifa, but, like I said, will prioritize Sephiroth and Kadaj first before turning my attention to her) chars already requires an exorbitant amount of resources and grinding so didn't want to have to work on yet another character.

But, as a new player, did get some free pulls on the He Who Conquered Doubt Cloud (FFVIIAC) banner. Unfortunately, wasn't lucky enough to get him.
Or maybe that's actually a good thing since, if I did end up getting him, would have felt like trying to build him too, which would have meant needing to grind more to get more resources and shards and such.
Anyway, that's it for now. There's a lot more, but gonna need to continue in another post since already reached the max limit of 30 pics per post in this one.
Conclusion
So what about you? What do you think about the War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius x Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children collab event?
Did you pull for Cloud Strife, Tifa Lockhart, Kadaj, and/or Sephiroth? What do you think about their chars in this game? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Reverse: 1999 Mini Review
Reverse: 1999 (#ad) is a mobile game developed by Bluepoch.

Here’s why I decided to try out this game, or how I ended up trying out this game.
I talk more about this in another post, but after the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game discontinued or ended its service on February 29, 2024 as well as the recent lack of content in the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius (FFBE) mobile game and wanting to avoid pulling on both FFBE and the Fate/Grand Order (FGO) mobile game, started looking for another game to play.
That led me to trying out the Punishing: Gray Raven (PGR) mobile game. But, for reasons I talk more about in another post, didn't end up sticking with PGR for long. So I was soon back to looking for another game to try.
Reverse: 1999 Information
And that's when Reverse: 1999 came into the picture. Been hearing a lot of good things about this game like how interesting its story is, and how it even has some unusual characters. So decided to give Reverse: 1999 a try.
Reverse: 1999 vs Punishing: Gray Raven
Punishing: Gray Raven and Reverse: 1999 don't have the same gameplay since one is turn-based while the other isn't.
I thought the story of Reverse: 1999 was indeed pretty interesting. It's even voiced, unlike in PGR. Not that the story needs to be voiced. FGO's story isn't, and I like it just fine.
Still, considering the stories in FFBE and DFFOO aren't voiced either, it made for a nice change to check out a game with a voiced story this time.
The new player experience in Reverse: 1999 also seems to be much better when compared to PGR. For instance, in PGR, the summon banners didn't get unlocked even after finishing the tutorial. Then, when it finally got unlocked, didn't even get enough to be able to do a multi-draw.
On the other hand, in Reverse: 1999, not only was I able to summon soon after the tutorial, the game also gave me enough to be able to do a multi-draw right away.
Overall, Reverse: 1999 just felt more generous. It also helped that it felt like I had way more luck in this game when compared to PGR.
Reverse: 1999 also seems easier, which I prefer since was looking for something more casual.
Seeker in the Cave Banner in Reverse: 1999
When I first started playing Reverse: 1999, the current banner featured this 6-star character called 6. Apparently, he's a really good support. His banner is called Seeker in the Cave.

Just based on 6's appearance, I thought he looked pretty interesting, so didn't mind rolling for him.
Continued playing through the story to get more Clear Drops. Clear Drops can be exchanged for Unilogs, the currency needed to pull on banners.
In the 6 banner, players have a 50/50 chance of getting 6 after hitting the pity. This means that if you get a 6-star from this banner, there's a 50/50 chance that it will be 6. If you don't get 6, then the next time you get a 6-star from this banner, it's guaranteed to be 6.
The pity is 70 pulls, meaning you're guaranteed to get a 6-star char after pulling 70 times on this banner. The pity on the 6 banner will carry over to other similar banners.
Punishing: Gray Raven has a banner that's similar to the 6 banner in Reverse: 1999. But the pity in this banner is 60 pulls and, unlike in Reverse: 1999, there's no 50/50. If you get a S-rank char in this banner, then it's 100% guaranteed to be the featured char.
So, objectively speaking, PGR's banner is better. But it's also true that in Punishing: Gray Raven, I ended up having to pity the S-rank char called Lucia: Crimson Weave.
I talk more about that in another post, but had to grind a lot, and was thankfully eventually able to get her before her banner ended. That really burnt me out though.
On the other hand, in Reverse: 1999, I actually lost the 50/50 on 6's banner to this 6-star char called Medicine Pocket.

Wasn't that disappointed though because I got Medicine Pocket after only a few multis. Plus, I soon found out that they're actually one of the best healers in this game.
And this multi also gave me 2 copies of the featured 5-star char called Baby Blue. Too bad she doesn't seem to be all that good.
Okay, wait, just went to double-check since the records of my pulls from the Seeker in the Cave banner are still in-game even though that banner has long since ended by now.
Apparently, it was even better than I remembered. I actually got Medicine Pocket in my first multi-draw on the 6 banner. IIRC, this was also my very first multi-draw in this game.

Anyway, was eventually able to get my first copy of 6 after a few more pulls.

Here are some more screenshots of 6:

This multi also gave me yet another copy of Baby Blue and my first copy of the 5-star char called X.

Reverse: 1999 Story
As aforementioned, the story in Reverse: 1999 is pretty interesting. I also like that it's voiced.
This game actually offers several different languages - English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. I prefer Japanese voices with English subtitles, but I did download the English audio just to check it out. Haven't had the chance to try out the Chinese and Korean audio yet though.
But, while the story in Reverse: 1999 is interesting, I noticed that some of the translation feels off and even bad. There are also some stuff that's confusing. And noticed some awkward phrasing and even purple prose too. Will talk more about this later.
6 and Sotheby Banners
After getting 6, still felt like pulling some more so decided to keep tossing any Unilogs I get on his banner. I thought this wasn't such a bad idea since the pity does carry over to future time-limited banners like this one.
Plus, right now, my only 6-stars are 6 and Medicine Pocket so it wouldn't be so bad to lose the 50/50, assuming I get a new and useful 6-star anyway.
On the other hand, if I do manage to get another copy of 6, then that's great too since that would make him much better.
At the moment, I've been using 6, Medicine Pocket, and Sonetto, the free 5-star char we got near the start of the game. Sonetto seems like the Mash Kyrielight (from FGO) of Reverse: 1999.
Sonetto's more of a support, but she can deal some damage too. Been using her and 6 as both DPS and supports with Medicine Pocket as the healer.
So far, the story quests in Reverse: 1999 are pretty easy so was able to get by just fine with the aforementioned team. This is in stark contrast to PGR wherein it seemed like the story quests got too hard way too quickly.
In Reverse: 1999, it felt like the content difficulty was just right, like it was slowly increasing, but not at such a drastic pace so was able to keep up. Plus the game was actually giving me the resources I needed to increase the levels of my chars.
But in PGR, it felt like the game wasn't giving me the resources to keep up with the spike in content difficulty. It didn't help that the levels of my chars there were capped based on my player level. Like if my player level was currently 15, then I can't level my chars past 15.
Anyway, since I want an actual DPS too, found myself eyeing the other currently available banners in Reverse: 1999. One of these banners is called One Gram of Curiosity. It features a 6-star character called Sotheby.

Just met her in the story, and I thought she's pretty nice. I like her well enough. She may be childish, but she's earnest and eager to help, and her overall personality seems fine.
Looking at her kit, she appears to be a mix between a healer and a DPS. Since her banner shares the same pity as 6's banner, thought I might as well try rolling for her.
Threw a couple of pulls on Sotheby's banner but, sadly, failed to get her. Stopped trying to roll for Sotheby when I looked up some more info about her and found that she wasn't that good as a DPS.
Reverse: 1999 Farming Event
Eventually, was able to unlock the events section in Reverse: 1999. The current patch is called The Prisoner in the Cave. The farming section in this patch is called Inspiration from the Proofs.
This includes a series of quests that you can farm over and over again in order to get event currency that you can then use to exchange for items and materials.
For this particular patch, there's a lotto box that I thought was pretty similar to the one in FGO. In Reverse: 1999, there are multiple different lotto boxes though. These are known as the Black Box of Conjectures.

So you need to farm a lot in order to clear out all the boxes and get all the limited items and materials.
Normally, I wouldn't mind this at all except that, since I'm new to this game, my chars were sadly not strong enough to even clear the first stage of this farming event.
This was really annoying, and I remember thinking, why bother unlocking this event for new players if they can't clear it? At the very least, the first stage should have been easy enough for even new players to be able to clear.
Reverse: 1999 Other Banners
Kept working on trying to level up my chars and their Resonances and Psychubes some more, but was eventually gated by the lack of resources.
Also, it feels like I really need a DPS. So once again, I found myself looking at the other available banners in Reverse: 1999. Was still continuing to pull on the 6 banner, but I thought that, rather than a 6 dupe or some random 6-star that might or might not be a DPS, I could really use an actual DPS.
This brought my attention to the banner called Abundance of the Water: The First Milestone.

This banner features 4 6-star chars on rate-up: A Knight, Melania, Voyager, and An-An Lee.
I saw this banner before, but I avoided it after finding out that the pity in it isn't carried over and isn't shared with the likes of 6's and Sotheby's banners.
And, in the Abundance of the Water: The First Milestone banner, the only 6-stars are the 4 featured ones. So if you get a 6-star from this banner, it's guaranteed to be either A Knight, An-An Lee, Melania, or Voyager.
Looked up some info about these chars and found that they range from being pretty good to not that bad. It also seemed like any one of these chars would be good for my account. And, since I don't have any of them, I thought it wasn't such a bad idea to pull on this banner.
So I started pulling. Don't remember the exact details anymore and wasn't able to take a screenshot of the pull records but, eventually, was able to get my first copy of Melania.

Melania
Melania's Afflatus is Beast, which is the same as Medicine Pocket's.
Initially, was disappointed that I ended up getting Melania. IIRC, the farming stage I was trying to clear has enemies that have class advantage against Beasts, so that plus the fact that I already have a few Beast Afflatus chars had me feeling pretty disappointed that I ended up with yet another one.
Just based on appearance alone since I have yet to meet any of these 4 chars in the story, was hoping to get Voyager. Her art looks really nice, and I like the space and stars theme she has.

But after taking a closer look, it seems like Melania was actually the best char to get from this banner. She's a DPS, and a really good one at that.
I started leveling her up and - well, long story short, I'm now really glad that I have her. I guess I'm totally biased now, but she's really great. Having her really helped a lot. So glad she was the one who showed up when I pulled on the Abundance of the Water: The First Milestone banner.
Still haven't been able to fully max her out, but I've been pouring my resources into both her and 6. Soon, I was actually able to clear the first stage of that aforementioned farming event. This unlocked the next stage of that event.

With Melania, was able to ignore the Afflatus of the enemies. Thanks to her, was able to clear some of the harder stages that I hadn't been able to do before. Even managed to get to the last quest of the Inspiration from the Proofs event and eventually clear that as well.
That was more than what I was hoping for, but that really helped since that stage gave the most currency so it was the best one to farm. Sadly, wasn't able to clear out all the lotto boxes due to lack of Cellular Activity (this is what the stamina or energy is called in this game) and the event ending already.

Anyway, since Melania's really good, decided to keep pulling on the Abundance of the Water: The First Milestone banner. After all, still don't have any of the other featured chars on said banner. And I wouldn't mind at all even if I get a dupe of Melania since that would just make her stronger.
Voyager
Kept pulling on the aforementioned banner until I got another 6-star. That 6-star ended up being Voyager.

Was surprised when I saw her since she didn't look like her image in the Abundance of the Water: The First Milestone banner. I'd soon find out that that image will only be unlocked once I get her to Insight 2.
I'd also find out that Voyager is sadly the weakest char on the aforementioned banner. She's like a mix between a DPS and a support while both A Knight and Melania are DPS and An-An Lee's a support.
Things to Like About Reverse: 1999
Here are some of the things that I like about Reverse: 1999:
Generous
This game feels pretty generous. For instance, the Abundance of the Water: The First Milestone banner actually gave a free single draw each day although IIRC, this was only for 7 days or so. The game also regularly gives materials and currency via exchange codes.
Casual
This game seems pretty easy, which I like since I've been looking for a casual game where I don't have to care about the meta that much.
Reverse: 1999 does have some content that I can't clear yet, but that's only to be expected considering how new I am to this game, and how I only really have a few chars built and those aren't even fully maxed out yet.
Actually surprised that I was able to get pretty far in some endgame content. For instance, there was that Wandering on the Shore event which consists of a series of hard fights. The first few quests let you bring a support char, but you're on your own for the later stages.

Being able to bring a support character really helped, especially if that char was a DPS. For the later quests that didn't provide a support char, was only able to clear a few with my team.
Thankfully, the quests I cleared gave me enough currency to buy everything important in the Uttu shop. The only things I didn't get to buy were the costume for this 3-star char called La Source as well as some of the Sharpodonty, the money in this game.

So it feels like this was pretty good progress for such a new account. If I had more and fully built chars, pretty sure I'd have been able to clear more of the endgame content in Reverse: 1999.
Story
As aforementioned, I think the story in Reverse: 1999 is pretty good and interesting.
Language and Voice Options
I also like that the story is voiced, and that there are several language options to choose from.
Auto and Replay Features
I really like that Reverse: 1999 has both an auto and replay feature. So I can clear a quest either manually or on auto for the first time then just replay that clear over and over again.
Pity
Don't like the 50/50, but at least there's a pity system here and the pity carries over between similar banners.
Character Designs and Art
Some of the char designs and art in this game look really good. Voyager's Insight 2 art, for instance. 6 and Melania look pretty nice too.
It's also nice that Reverse: 1999 has a number of chars with unusual designs. For instance, there's a char who is an apple, there's a radio, and there's even an alien spaceship and the shard of a mirror.

But soon after starting Reverse: 1999, I realized that these unusual chars are mostly of lower rarity. Sadly, unlike in FGO where there are some really good 3-star and below Servants, the lower rarity chars in Reverse: 1999 aren't that good, especially not for endgame content. It doesn't help that you can't level these lower rarity chars as much as the 5 and 6-star ones.
For example, the char called APPle, who is an apple with a bowtie, is a 4-star char so he can only be leveled up to Insight 2.
At least there are like 2 6-stars who have an unusual design - A Knight, a suit of armor, and Pickles, a dog. But, IIRC, it's just these 2. The rest are all of lower rarity and, AFAIK, the game has yet to add any more chars with unusual designs.
Things to Dislike About Reverse: 1999
Here are some of the things that I dislike about Reverse: 1999:
Patch Duration
It feels like patches take way too long before they end. It doesn't help that there are events in a patch that end early.
Was actually really annoyed when the Inspiration from the Proofs farming event ended already and yet the The Prisoner in the Cave patch was still up. Would have been able to farm some more if the event didn't end so soon.
Some of the events in a patch also don't take that long to finish. So there are times when it seems like there's nothing to do while waiting for a patch to end and a new one to begin.
Banners and Patch Schedule
The English version of Reverse: 1999 is a few months or so behind the original version. I wish the game would shorten this gap even more since it still feels like it takes way too long for banners and patches to get to the Global version.
No 5-star Pity
There's a pity for 6-stars, but sadly, there's none for 5-stars.
Item and Material Drop Rates
Initially, I thought raising chars in this game wasn't that bad. But that changed when I tried to get Melania and 6 to Insight 3 as well as raise their Resonance level some more.
That was when I found out that the drop rates of the high-tier items or materials in this game are really awful. Spending hundreds of Cellular Activity only to get not even a single copy of the item I'm farming for feels really bad, man. I don't mind farming, but not if it feels like it's just a waste of time.
Was instantly reminded of FGO, and not in a good way. Because Fate/Grand Order's item drop rates are also really awful. And that's why I never bother to farm there. Can't remember the last time I farmed for an item in FGO. Instead, what I do is just rely on farming events and lottos and always making sure to clear out the shops that come with these events.
So I was thinking I might not stick with Reverse: 1999 if the drop rates were going to be this bad. Will have to see if the next event's shop has a decent stock of items and materials. I heard it wasn't a lotto like the one in this current patch so hopefully, I'll be able to farm that shop and get stuff that will help me level up my chars some more.
Time-limited Picrasma Candies
Picrasma Candy is the item used to replenish Cellular Activity in Reverse: 1999. This is similar to the apples in FGO. But unlike in FGO where apples don’t expire, the candies in PGR have a time limit.
This is annoying since you’re forced to use your candies unless you want to let them go to waste. Wish Reverse: 1999 would let us save our candies and use them whenever we want.
No Clear Cache Feature
I wish Reverse: 1999 has a clear cache feature like the one in FGO and FFBE.
Puzzles
Don't like some of the puzzles in this game. Find them really annoying to deal with.
Tooth Fairy and Centurion Banner
Tooth Fairy and Centurion are both 6-star chars. The former is apparently the best healer in this game while the latter's a pretty good Beast Afflatus DPS.
The Global or English version of Reverse: 1999 just released a banner that has the 2 aforementioned chars on rate-up.
But there are several problems with this banner. For one, it doesn't share a pity with other banners. For another, both Tooth Fairy and Centurion are on shared rate-up.
If you get a 6-star char from this banner, there's a 50/50 chance that it will be an off-banner char. If you do get an on-banner 6-star char, then it can either be Tooth Fairy or Centurion, but there's no way to guarantee which one you'll get.
Would have wanted to pull for Tooth Fairy since I've been hearing how good she is. Apparently, she doesn't just heal. She provides some pretty good buffs and support as well.
Didn't want to pull on this banner though because there's no guarantee I'll get Tooth Fairy. Don't have a copy of Centurion either, but don't really want this char considering I already have Melania as my Beast Afflatus DPS.
So I really wish the game didn't go with this kind of banner.
Revival! The Uluru Games Patch
Revival! The Uluru Games, the next patch after the The Prisoner in the Cave, just started in Reverse: 1999.

Thankfully, the shop in this patch has a lot of the items I need to further upgrade my chars. After some farming both within and outside the event as well as some crafting, was able to get both 6 and Melania to Insight 3 and Resonance level 10.
Also got both of their equipped Psychubes to the max level. Now, continuing to work on building my other chars like Medicine Pocket and Voyager.
Eventually, managed to clear out the event shop. Glad that this shop offers a nice selection of different items. So it looks like I'll just need to make sure to clear out all the event shops to get the materials I need.

Might still need to do some farming outside the event if a shop doesn't have an item I need, and can't wait for it to show up in a future shop. Still wish they'd increase the item drop rates though, or, at the very least, guarantee 1 item drop per run.
Revival! The Uluru Games Main Story
Started playing through the main story of the Revival! The Uluru Games patch and ended up hating the 2 main chars featured in this story - 6-star Spathodea and 6-star Ezra Theodore. Thought the event story was awful. It did a great job making me hate Ezra and Spathodea.
Didn't get to take screenshots, but I remember being especially annoyed with Ezra. There was how the text kept praising him and how everyone just seems to do the same, but it just doesn't seem believable.
There was also how they made it clear he wasn't a doctor, and yet he still ended up being treated as one anyway. Some of the things he says also comes across as offensive and insulting. Even Spathodea came across as annoying.
The story of this event definitely could have been better. In the end, it was just disappointing. Also hated the puzzles in this patch.
It feels like the only thing I really liked in this event was the music. Now, that was really good. The song is called Go Together.
youtube
As the Driven Snow Falls Story
As the Driven Snow Falls is part of the Revival! The Uluru Games patch. This includes a climbing game and a story that's focused on Ezra.

The climbing game was really boring. It basically just involved a lot of tapping through the screen to "climb" and reading through a lot of text.
Don't like the story in the As the Driven Snow Falls event either. This time, remembered to take screenshots so will go into a bit more detail about the story.
One of the things I noticed in Reverse: 1999 is that the story has some filler and unnecessary text. Take a look at the screenshot below as an example:
X lifted the teapot, refilling Ezra's cup with piping hot tea. X: Here, have some more tea. It'll make you feel better.

We get the description of X refilling Ezra's cup with tea, and then we get him telling Ezra to have some tea.
But is the first line really necessary? If we remove that description and just have X telling Ezra to have some tea, that doesn't change anything in the story. If X tells Ezra to have some tea, then we can easily infer that he gave him tea so there's no need for the text describing his actions.
Having both of the aforementioned lines just makes the text seem unnecessarily long. There's no need to describe everything or every little thing. Sometimes, less is more.
Here's another example of more filler and pointless text:
The arcanist said with a wave of his hand. X blinked.

And another:
Ezra closed his eyes, falling silent, then reopened them. Ezra nodded, then nodded again.

These lines are completely and utterly pointless. Remove these lines, and the story won't change at all. We don't need these descriptions. They don't add anything to the story.
Sometimes, the story will also have some purple prose. Here's an example:
The tilted teapot no longer poured fresh tea; it was light, as if there was nothing left inside.

This one isn't even that bad, but I remember there being more in the other stories in this game.
Here's another example of purple prose in the Ezra story:
The handful of pure white flowers held in the child's hands were lifted up high. He looked devout and sincere, almost like an angel. He just needed a white robe and a trumpet to complete the image.

The above lines also serve as an example of how the story likes to keep praising Ezra. Telling me how good he is instead of showing me just annoys me and makes me dislike him even more.
Also, the text describing Ezra as a "child" makes me wonder exactly how old he is supposed to be. He does look like a kid. So I thought he was a kid, but then the story mentions him doing adult things like working and such.
Anyway, also noticed some typos in the story like this one:
I saw you added Pinguicula alpina to the dilution; it'll could cause an allergic reaction.

Other Stories in Reverse: 1999
While the main story in Reverse: 1999 is interesting, some of the side stories aren't. Unfortunately, some of them can be really boring and even confusing. Some seem to have way too much text so it feels like the story is unnecessarily long.
For example, there was the story about one of the chars called Dikke. I read through the first part of Dikke's story but got so bored and even confused that I decided to hold off on reading the rest for now.
This content is apparently time-limited though. When I realized the story event was over already, didn't feel that bad about missing out on it. Instead, actually felt relieved that I didn't have to slog through that boring story.
Reverse: 1999 Future Plans
At first, wasn't sure if I would really stick with Reverse: 1999. I do like the main story well enough, but it's also true that I stopped reading through it for now. Got to like the first few stages in Chapter 5 then stopped since I wanted to focus on finishing the time-limited events as well as level up my chars some more. There was also more content to do in FGO, so I prioritized that.
It didn't help that I really didn't like the Revival! The Uluru Games patch. The story wasn't that good or interesting, and it really made me dislike Ezra and Spathodea. The climbing and puzzle events were also really bad and boring. So I was worried the next patch would be more of the same.
Also, not sure that I like the current direction this game is going. Been looking at the list of upcoming chars, and it looks like most of them are female. Wish Reverse: 1999 would add more male playable chars.
Powercreep might also be an issue. Even before starting Reverse: 1999, been hearing about this 6-star Mineral Afflatus char called Jiu Niangzi who is apparently really, really good and maybe even better than some (most? all?) of the currently available DPS in the game.
Just based on appearance, wasn't that interested in Jiu although I can at least say I prefer her over Spathodea and Ezra (again, just based on appearance). Still, would prefer to find out more about Jiu and see if I end up liking her and her personality and character instead of feeling like I automatically have to pull for her just because she's apparently meta.
So I was having second thouughts about continuing to play Reverse: 1999. But soon changed my mind and decided to stay after considering what was currently going on in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.
Recently, there’s beeen a lack of content in FFBE. We haven’t had a Dark Visions or even Vision World event in months. Even Clash of Wills doesn’t seem to be happening regularly anymore.
More and more often, it seems like the only “content” we get for the week is a new banner to pull on.
Then, when we did get an event, it was one where you just farm the same stage over and over again to get all the rewards. To make matters worse, they made that event last for like 3 weeks, and they increased the number of points you needed in order to get all the rewards.
To be fair, at least you can just auto farm that event over and over again, but still. If I'm gonna auto farm anyway, then might as well do it in Reverse: 1999 where it feels like it's more rewarding. This is especially so since FFBE also cut down on the lapis we get. It doesn't help that we hardly get any content, which means even less lapis, and they also introduced what they called replica lapis, which can't be used to pull on banners.
Aside from that, or maybe because of that, I’m slowly losing interest in FFBE. Until recently, I was still regularly logging in, although there isn't anything to do other than auto farming, but then I ended up missing a few days, but wasn't that troubled over it. Now I don't bother to regularly log in anymore, and it doesn't really feel like I'm missing out on anything.
When we finally got some actual content in FFBE, it feels like too little, too late. At least for me. Because when that happened, I didn't feel like doing the new content at all. Maybe I just got used to doing basically nothing in FFBE so now that there's finally something to do there, it feels like a chore and don't feel like doing it anymore.
Also, with the way FFBE is doing right now, I worry that its end of service announcement news is just around the corner, especially since it feels like they're not even trying or making an effort what with barely having any content or anything to do in the game.
So I think I'll just keep on playing Reverse: 1999 for now. Yeah, there are things that I don't like about it, but, overall, it's not that bad. And it seems to be doing much better than FFBE. At least it actually has content.
And I really do like how Reverse: 1999 is such a casual game. It's nice to be able to auto even the hard stuff. Of course, can't auto everything yet since I still don't have a lot of fully built chars. Now I find myself thinking of maybe going for Jiu whether I like her or not. Since she's really good, having her should help me be able to auto more things in this game. Will have to think about this some more, I guess.
Conclusion
So what about you? What do you think about the Reverse: 1999 mobile game? What do you think about chars like 6, Medicine Pocket, Voyager, Melania, Jiu Niangzi, Spathodea, and Ezra? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Fate/Grand Order Anti-Primate Biosphere Tunguska Sanctuary Event Part 2
The Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary event just started in the Fate/Grand Order (#ad) (FGO) mobile game.

This event includes a total of 4 raid battles. These raids will give a lot of bond points or exp each time they’re cleared. This is especially so if you can field a party full of this event’s 5-star Craft Essence (CE).
Depending on a Servant’s rarity and bond level, you can get some Saint Quartz or SQ for increasing their bond level.
This is a continuation of another post. Had to split the posts apart since the 1st was getting really long already and was nearing the max limit of 30 pics per post.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 4 Information
This fight has a total of 7 enemies. The battle will start with the main boss, Lostbelt: Beast IV, showing up on the field alongside 2 of their minions. Every time a minion is defeated, another will take their place. Once Lostbelt: Beast IV has been defeated, the battle will end.
Servants with the Demonic Beast trait have class advantage against Lostbelt: Beast IV.
This raid quest battle comes with 3 difficulties - 90, 90+, and 90++. The higher the difficulty, the higher the HP of the opponents.
You also get more drops or materials and QP or Quantum Piece. But these quests all give the same bond exp, which you can increase by equipping the event CEs and any other bond exp up CE.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 4 Fight
I talk more about this in another post but I ended up clearing the level 90 raid over and over again with my level 100 NP1 (Noble Phantasm level 1) 5-star SSR Lancer Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) + double 5-star SSR Caster Altria Caster or Artoria Caster or Castoria.
The Mystic Code or MC I used was Halloween Royalty. Mélusine is equipped with a level 100 CE called The Black Grail. Was able to one-shot Lostbelt: Beast IV with this team and setup.
My Altria Caster is about to get to bond level 12. This will give me 30 SQ so I really wanted to get her to bond level 12 before this raid ends.
Kept repeating the level 90 raid quest until my Castoria finally got to bond level 12.
I talk more about this in another post but I used the 30 SQ I just got to pull on the currently still-ongoing Avalon le Fae Clear Support Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) Pickup Summon banner.
To my surprise, this pull actually gave me my 2nd copy of Mélusine. Hell, yes!
Anyway, after getting Castoria to bond level 12, I gave her a bond grail or Lantern of Chaldea but I didn’t want to bring her to the raids anymore because it was definitely not gonna last long enough for me to get her to another bond level.
So I started trying out other teams. Tried a Mélusine, 5-star SSR Pretender Oberon, and support Castoria team.

Don't remember much about this team anymore but IIRC, needed to use face cards in addition to Mélusine's NP in order to 1-turn the fight, at least for the level 90++ quest.

Also opted to try defeating the 1st 2 minions that appeared with Lostbelt: Beast IV. This would give me more items or materials.
It would also mean not needing to select the boss before firing Mélusine's AoE NP. When I was using Mélusine's ST Arts NP, I always need to make sure that I'm targeting the boss otherwise Tam Lin Lancelot will end up firing her Noble Phantasm on one of the mobs.
Tried Mélusine with double Oberon, Mélusine with double 5-star SSR Assassin Koyanskaya of Light and Mélusine with Oberon and Koyanskaya.

Don't remember all the exact details of these comps anymore but I remember being annoyed that Mélusine couldn't one-shot the level 90++ boss even at NP2.
I think I also tried the level 90 and 90+ quests with these teams and Mélusine couldn't one-shot the bosses there either.
Also tried to 3-turn the level 90++ quest with Mélusine, double Koyanskaya and Oberon with the Chaldea Combat Uniform Mystic Code.
Was able to 3-turn said quest even back when Mélusine was at NP1. Can’t defeat all the mobs though since she leaves one of them with a bit of HP on turn 1.
Next time I tried this fight, targeted the mobs with the highest HP and hit them with face cards, which helped to finish them all off.
That was great but it took way too much time what with having to tap the mob and make sure they’re being targeted.
Now that Mélusine was at NP2, clearing this quest became slightly easier but it still took time what with all the skills and such needing to be activated, all the animation and such that happens when the mobs are defeated and new ones show up, etc.
Even using the Order Change skill was taking a lot of time and, as usual, I thought it was a waste to bring a fully maxed out MC when I could be trying to level up my other Mystic Codes instead.
This was why, after a couple of tries, I tried to find a team that would let me one-shot the 1st wave of enemies. But, like I said, that wasn't working out at all, not if I wanted to use Mélusine's AoE NP and not bother with the Chaldea Combat Uniform MC.
Then I thought, taking 2 turns to clear a raid quest without needing to use the Chaldea Combat Uniform Mystic Code doesn't seem that bad.
Defeating some of the minions will give me more materials. Not needing to use the Order Change skill of the Chaldea Combat Uniform means I can level up my other Mystic Codes that aren't maxed out yet. And taking 2 turns to clear the fight is faster than having to take 3 turns.
So after a couple more tries and tests, ended up farming the level 90+ raid quest with Mélusine and double Koyanskaya.

If Mélusine gets at least 1 Buster card and/or enough of her cards to chain on the 1st turn, then she can clear the fight without needing to go to turn 2.

If Mélusine doesn't get or hardly gets any of her cards within the 1st 2 turns, then it would be necessary to go to turn 3 to finish off Lostbelt: Beast IV.
At first, whenever I was about to hit the 2 billion QP cap, or when I noticed that I was actually already at the cap, I would go and level up the skills of some of my Servants. But I found myself reluctant to do this.

I don't know. It feels like a waste to level up the skills of chars I don't or hardly ever use. And some skills require a seemingly exorbitant amount of materials that I'd rather not spend yet.
Managed to level up a few skills anyway before deciding not to bother anymore and just not caring or trying not to care even when I reached the QP cap.
Reaching the QP cap doesn't stop me from playing the game but it does mean not being able to get any more QP which is a waste.

Can't remember for sure now but the Halloween Royalty Mystic Code was at like level 6 or 7 or threabouts. Kept having it equipped until it finally reached level 10.
After that, I switched to the Anniversary Blonde Mystic Code. I only just recently got this from the Rare Prism shop so, IIRC, this was at around level 3-5 or thereabouts.
Cleared the Lostbelt: Beast IV Raid - Survival or the level 90 quest 43 times. Cleared the Lostbelt: Beast IV Raid - Affection or the level 90++ quest 10 times.

Cleared the Lostbelt: Beast IV Raid - Slaughter or level 90+ quest 182+ times. Took the above screenshot minutes before the raid ended. That was the last screenshot I managed to take but I was still able to do the level 90+ raid like 1 or 2 more times before it was all over.
Below are screenshots from the last fight I got to do before the raid ended:

Bond Level Limit Release
After I finally managed to get Arash from bond level 12 to bond level 13, I removed him from my party.

For now, didn't want to bother giving him a Lantern of Chaldea since there was no way I'd be able to get him from bond level 13 to bond level 14 before the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary raids were all over.
But when I later noticed that I'd already reached the QP cap again, decided to go ahead and increase Arash's bond level cap although still not going to bother bringing him back to my party.

Using a Lantern of Chaldea to increase Arash's bond level cap now was simply another way to decrease my QP. At least this was something I was eventually gonna do anyway.
Thoughts about the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event
I like that this event has several raids that gave players the chance to farm a lot of items or materials, QP, and even bond exp. But it's really sad that the 4-star and 5-star CEs that increase the bond exp you get from the raids are locked behind the gacha.
You need to pull on the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary banners if you want to be able to get a lot of bond exp each time you run the raids.
At least the 3-star CE can also be obtained by using friend points, but considering it’s not on rate-up there and how bloated the pool already is on that banner, there’s no guarantee you can get one, especially if you don’t have a lot of friend points.
Didn't have any resources to spare to pull on the Tunguska Sanctuary banners since I was still trying to get more copies of Mélusine from her banner.
Thankfully, I was able to get copies of the 3-star CE from the friend points summons banner after using all of my friend points, but of course, the 3-star CE doesn't compare to the 5-star and even the 4-star one.
The 3-star CE gives 10% bond exp. When fully MLB, it gives 15%. The 4-star CE gives 20% bond exp. When fully MLB, it gives 25%. The 5-star CE gives 30% bond exp. When fully MLB, it gives 35%.
Anyway, I also wish the raids had lasted for a few days at least. Fortunately, was able to participate in all of them, but the same can't be said for everyone for various reasons like different time zones and conflicting schedules.
I talk more about this in another post, but there also ended up being an issue with one of the raids so everyone ended up missing out on it. Sadly, the compensation for that bug or issue wasn't that good.
Some Thoughts about the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Story
I thought the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary story was kinda meh. It doesn't help that also wasn't all that interested in the featured chars.
Noticed a lot of repetition and even filler in the story. It seemed like the chars were going over the situation and talking about what we already know over and over and over again.
Also noticed some typos here and there. For instance, take a look at the screenshot below where 5-star SSR Rider Taigong Wang says:
Nothing onerous, mind you. All I need is for you to do is sit tight and let me cast my spell in peace.

Anyway, that's it for now. I guess I can talk more about the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary story and my thoughts about it in another post.
Conclusion
So, what about you? Did you pull on the Avalon le Fae Clear Support Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) Pickup Summon and/or the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary banners? What do you think about the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary story and raids event?
Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging this post.

Fate/Grand Order Anti-Primate Biosphere Tunguska Sanctuary Event Part 1
The Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary event just started in the Fate/Grand Order (#ad) (FGO) mobile game.
This event includes a total of 4 raid battles. These raids will give a lot of bond points each time they're cleared. This is especially so if you can field a party full of this event's 5-star Craft Essence (CE).
Depending on a Servant's rarity and bond level, you can get some Saint Quartz or SQ for increasing their bond level.
The 5-star event CE is called Empty Garden. Its effect is:
Increase Quick Card effectiveness by 8% (MLB: 10%). Increase Buster Card effectiveness by 8% (MLB: 10%). Increase Critical Strength by 8% (MLB: 10%). Begin battle with NP Gauge at 40% (MLB: 50%). Increase Damage by 80% (MLB: 100%) during Tunguska Sanctuary Quests. Increase Bond EXP by 30% (MLB: 35%) during Tunguska Sanctuary Quests.
There are also 4-star and 3-star Craft Essences for this event. The 4-star CE is called Darkest before the Dawn. Its effect is:
Increase Arts Card effectiveness by 3% (MLB: 5%). Increase NP Gain by 5% (MLB: 10%). Increase NP Overcharge level by 1 (1 time). Increase Damage by 50% (MLB: 65%) during Tunguska Sanctuary Quests. Increase Bond EXP by 20% (MLB: 25%) during Tunguska Sanctuary Quests.
The 3-star CE is called Slumbering City. Its effect is:
Apply Evade (1 time). Increase Critical Strength by 3% (MLB: 5%). Increase NP Gain by 3% (MLB: 5%). Increase Damage by 20% (MLB: 30%) during Tunguska Sanctuary Quests. Increase Bond EXP by 10% (MLB: 15%) during Tunguska Sanctuary Quests.
Unfortunately, the only way to get the 5-star and 4-star CEs is to pull on the banner that came with the Tunguska Sanctuary event.
At least the 3-star CE can also be obtained via the friend points summons banner but considering it's not on rate-up there and how bloated the pool is, there's no guarantee you can get one, especially if you don't have a lot of friend points.
Fate/Grand Order Pickup Summon Banners
While I would really love to have a lot of copies of the Empty Garden CE for the bond bonus, sadly, can't afford to pull on the Tunguska Sanctuary banner.
Aside from not being interested in the featured Servants on that banner and how it feels like a waste to pull on a banner just for a Craft Essence, right now, I'm throwing any and all Saint Quartz I get on the currently still-ongoing Avalon le Fae Clear Support Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) Pickup Summon banner. I talk more about the results of my pulls on that banner in another post.
Fate/Grand Order Friend Points Summons Banner Pulls Results
We get 1 free copy of the Slumbering City CE just by playing through the Tunguska Sanctuary event. This is nice and all, but obviously not enough.
So I decided to roll on the friend points summon banner in the hopes of getting more copies of Slumbering City.
Currently have a bit over 1 million friend points at the moment. My plan is to spend all of it now.
Hopefully, I'll be able to get multiple copies of the Slumbering City CE so I can MLB 1 or more.
Thankfully, was able to get a lot of copies of the aforementioned Craft Essence. Here are some more screenshots:
Aside from the Slumbering City CE, also got 4 dupes of 4-star SR Rider Habetrot and 4 dupes of 4-star SR Saber Altria Pendragon (Lily).
Overall, ended up with 10 copies of Slumbering City. This plus the free copy we got let me have 2 fully MLB copies of said 3-star CE with 1 extra.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 1 Information
Each raid quest battle in the Tunguska Sanctuary event comes with 3 difficulties - 90, 90+, and 90++. The higher the difficulty, the higher the HP of the opponent.
You also get more drops or materials and QP or Quantum Piece. But, IIRC, these quests all give the same bond exp, which you can increase by equipping the event CEs.
Anyway, the 1st raid quest is against AN602-Ivan or Ivan the Terrible. His Class is Rider.
The main gimmick of this fight is that the battle will start with the boss having really high NP or Noble Phantasm damage resistance for 1 hit.
This means that the 1st NP you use on AN602-Ivan will always deal crap or 0 damage.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 1 Team Comp Plans
For this fight, I was thinking of using either Habetrot or 1-star Archer Arash to get rid of AN602-Ivan's 1-hit NP damage resist up. My other options include 3-star R Caster Medea and 4-star SR Caster Nitocris.
As for my main DPS, I was considering my level 100 NP2 5-star SSR Alter Ego Meltryllis or my NP3 4-star SR Assassin Carmilla.
For supports, I could go with 5-star SSR Pretender Oberon, 5-star SSR Assassin Koyanskaya of Light, and/or 5-star SSR Caster Altria or Artoria or Castoria.
Also have 5-star SSR Saber Nero Claudius (Bride), 5-star SSR Caster Tamamo-no-Mae, 5-star SSR Caster Merlin as well as 5-star SSR Caster Zhuge Liang or Lord El-Melloi II or Waver as other possible supports, but I'd rather not use Waver since he's already at bond 11 and don't have the bond grail or Lantern of Chaldea to spare for him right now.
Don't have my own 5-star SSR Caster Scathach-Skadi though, so a little unsure if Meltryllis will be able to work here. I could borrow a support Skadi but not sure if that will be enough.
Was thinking my party or team could be something like: Arash, Carmilla, and then 2 of the aforementioned supports.
After using or activating all of the 1st support's buffs and skills, I'll use the Order Change skill from the Chaldea Combat Uniform Mystic Code to switch out the 1st support and bring in the 2nd support.
The 2nd support will also use all of their buffs and skills then I'll use the ATK up buff from the aforementioned Mystic Code after which Arash then Carmilla will fire off their NPs. Hopefully, all of that will be enough to finish off AN602-Ivan in 1 turn.
Assuming this team will work though, an issue I have with this is that it requires me to use the Chaldea Combat Uniform because I highly doubt that Carmilla or any of my other DPS options can clear this quest in 1 turn with only 1 support buffing them.
If at all possible, I don't want to use the Chaldea Combat Uniform because I already have this Mystic Code fully leveled to the max. Would rather use the other Mystic Codes that I haven't fully leveled yet.
So I was thinking maybe I could just try going for a 2-turn clear of this fight. Arash and Habetrot have a way of removing themselves from the field without needing the Order Change skill from the Chaldea Combat Uniform.
I could have Arash or Habetrot use their NP on turn 1 while also ensuring they will remove themselves from the field. Once they're gone, a support will automatically take their place.
Then on turn 2, I can have my DPS use their NP after they've been buffed by 2 supports.
That might take way too much time though so I was looking around for other possible options and team comp ideas.
Soon, I came across a team comp consisting of Oberon, Castoria, and 4-star SR Assassin Ryougi Shiki. Basically Oberon and Castoria buff Shiki and then both Oberon and Ryougi use their NPs.
Ryougi Shiki is a welfare or free Servant that came from an event that happened a long time ago. I do have a NP5 Shiki but her skills aren't fully leveled at all. IIRC, they're all stuck at level 4.
I like Meltryllis so she's my go-to if I need a single target Servant to deal with Riders and that's even if I don't have my own Skadi. So I hardly ever use Ryougi Shiki.
If Oberon's Noble Phantasm fails to finish off all the enemies, it will give them invincibility for 1 turn. So I'll need to either equip my main DPS with a CE that has an ignore invincible effect or make use of a DPS who has ignore invincible in their kit.
Sadly, neither Meltryllis nor Carmilla have ignore invincibility in their kit but Ryougi does have said feature, making her the best option for me since I'm already locked on to using a fully MLB 5-star CE called The Black Grail (increases NP damage by 80%) as an alternative to Empty Garden.
Started leveling up Ryougi Shiki's 1st skill. But after 1 or 2 levels, couldn't bring myself to keep going all the way to the max. It's not the lack of materials or QP because I do have enough of those.
It's just - I don't know. It feels like a waste to level up Shiki's skills just for 1 fight. So I thought I'd just hold off for now.
Will see how the fight goes, see if my Ryougi Shiki can 1-turn AN602-Ivan in her current state with the help of Castoria, Oberon, my chosen Mystic Code's buffs, and my MLB The Black Grail.
If Ryougi needs more damage, then I'll go ahead and level up her skills. Until then, will just leave them as-is.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 1 Issue and Compensation
Well, as it turns out, it was a good thing that I didn't waste my resources leveling up Shiki's skills because there was some bug or issue with the AN602-Ivan raid fight and it ended up not happening at all.
The AN602-Ivan fight that showed up was the final one, meaning the one that was supposed to appear once the raid quest battle 1 was over.
I thought it was strange that AN602-Ivan had multiple break bars. But then I thought maybe the raid will only show up after clearing this quest.
Tried to clear this fight but was trying to rush to get to the raid as soon as possible. Wasn't paying that much attention to it either since was also trying to look up info on what was going on. Did I miss something? Did I get the time wrong? The raid can't possibly be over now, can it?
Ended up having to use like 1 or 2 Command Spells but still failed to clear the quest, which pissed me off. Quit the fight for now so I could look up more info about its gimmicks and mechanics and such.
It was around this time that I found out that the raid was bugged. Then, a few days or so later, we got 10 SQ as compensation for the bugged raid but they didn't bring the raid back.
So I guess I'll never get to find out if any of my planned teams would have worked or not.
As for the compensation - well, on one hand, 10 SQ means being able to pull some more on the Mélusine banner. But on the other hand, it feels like 10 SQ is way too low. Wish we could have gotten at least 30 SQ, especially since the bug wasn't fixed. I mean, all the other raids proceeded as planned but the AN602-Ivan raid never came back so we never got to try it.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 2 Information
The 2nd raid quest is against R-36M2-Voevoda or Surtr. His Class is Saber.
The main gimmick of this fight is that the battle will start with the boss resisting Arts and Buster-type attacks for 2 hits.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 2 Team Comp Plans
For this fight, was thinking of using my NP3 4-star SR Archer Emiya Alter or DEmiya with double Castoria or 1 Castoria and 1 Oberon as supports.
DEmiya has an Arts-type NP so would need to use 2 Arts cards 1st to ensure that said NP would actually deal damage to R-36M2-Voevoda.
Also saw a comp with 3-star Archer David as the main DPS. He has a Buster-type NP.
For this fight, the issue with Servants who have a Buster or Arts-type NP is the possibility that your starting hand won't have enough Arts or Buster Cards. There are ways around this but I started looking at my Archers who have a Quick-type NP to hopefully make things easier and faster.
It was then that I was reminded that I actually have a NP5 4-star SR Archer Tristan. Since I don't have my own Skadi, Tristan was never my go-to whenever I needed a single-target Archer.
Besides, IIRC, only recently got him to NP5 thanks to pulling on the 5-star SSR Berserker Morgan and 5-star SSR Pretender Oberon banners. Before that, he was at like NP1 with skills at 1/5/1.
Wanted to try out Tristan, but wasn't sure if he'd work with only 1 Skadi. Guess I'll find out soon enough.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 2 Fight
The raid quest battle 2 happened right on schedule. Tried a team of Tristan, Oberon, and friend support Skadi with the Arctic Mystic Code (currently have this at level 9).
Tristan is equipped with my MLB The Black Grail while the rest of the team is equipped with my Slumbering City CEs and the 5-star CE called Chaldea Lunchtime which increases bond exp by 10%.
Fought the 90++ version of R-36M2-Voevoda. Super pleased to find out that this team actually works. Just have Oberon and Skadi give all of their buffs to Tristan.
Use Tristan's 1st skill (increases his Quick Card effectiveness, among other things) and the ATK up buff from the Arctic Mystic Code then have Tristan fire off his NP. Tristan basically one-shots the boss with his NP alone.
At first, used Skadi's defense down skill then I noticed that Surtr was immune to the debuff so didn't bother wasting time activating said skill anymore.
Initially, had Tristan's 1st skill leveled up to 4 then, after a few fights, decided to level it up some more until I ended up maxing it and even his 2nd skill (increases his NP gauge).
Did that because I ended up getting a lot of materials and QP from this raid. Didn't want to end up hitting the QP cap which is apparently 2 billion, so I started leveling up the skills of some of my chars, and that includes Tristan.
Don't remember how many times I was able to fight against R-36M2-Voevoda. Forgot to take a screenshot but I remember starting the fight a bit late and staying until the end.
At first, I tried to borrow supports that have a fully MLB Empty Garden for more bond exp but there was only a few of those. Had to refresh the friends list multiple times just to find one, which was a waste of time, so I finally just settled for borrowing supports equipped with Empty Garden even if it wasn't fully MLB.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 2 Bond Level Up
This is a list of chars or Servants whose bond level I was able to increase during the raid against R-36M2-Voevoda:
4-star SR Lancer Caenis went from bond level 5 to 6
4-star SR Avenger of Shinjuku or Hessian Lobo went from bond level 5 to 6
Meltryllis went from bond level 8 to 9
5-star SSR Rider Leonardo da Vinci went from bond level 7 to 8
Oberon went from bond level 6 to 7
4-star SR Ruler Leonardo da Vinci went from bond level 6 to 7
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 3 Information
Apparently, raid quest battle 3 consists of multiple different fights against different enemies. Each of these fights have different gimmicks. Wasn't really sure how this all worked so decided to just wait for the raid to start before trying to come up with a team.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 3 Fight
Raid quest battle 3 just started and, as it turns out, several fights are available right away so it's just a matter of choosing which one you want to take on.
Increasing bond levels was my main priority so just picked a fight with a gimmick that was easy enough to deal with.
Kin III is an Archer. As soon as the battle starts, the party will be hit with skill seal, which lasts for 1 turn, and order change seal, which lasts for 3 turns.
My team for this fight is my NP1 level 100 Mélusine with double Castoria and the Memories of the Lunar Sea Mystic Code. Just got this from the Rare Prism shop so it's far from being leveled to the max. I think it's at around level 5 or 6 or thereabouts.
Instead of trying to clear the skill seal debuff, opted to just ignore it. Just have my Servants use face cards on turn 1. Kin III doesn't deal much damage and the skill seal only lasts for 1 turn so I just wait for turn 2.
On turn 2, after buffing Mélusine, have her fire off her single target Noble Phantasm. IIRC, she's able to one-shot Kin III even if she's only NP1.
Well, I did level her to 100. She also has a few gold fous to further increase her ATK and HP stats but I'm all out of said fous so can't give her anymore even if I want to.
The Kin III fight was the one that I did over and over again until it was no longer available. Based on the screenshot below, looks like I also tried a Mélusine, Castoria, and Oberon team but can't really remember much about this. LOL. I guess it works well enough, too.
Also got to try the Kin IV and LWB-M8 fights although I think this was only once or twice or so while I was waiting (hoping) for the Kin III fight to respawn.
LWB-M8 is an Assassin. You fight 3 of them at once. The main gimmick here is that the enemies have guts and each turn, they will be invincible for 1 hit.
IIRC, I tried to take on this fight with Mélusine since her AoE NP has ignore invincible but I don't remember it working all that well. Not sure anymore.
Kin IV is a Berserker. There are 3 of them. The main gimmick here is that the party's ATK and NP gain will be lowered. For this fight, tried a team of Castoria, Tamamo-no-Mae, and my level 112 NP4 5-star SSR Avenger Space Ishtar or Ishtar Ashtart or Ashtart.
Also can't remember anymore if that comp actually worked. It would have been better to use double Castoria, but I wanted to use Tamamo since I wanted to get her to bond level 10 already. She's been at bond level 9 for what feels like forever. Used her a lot before but that was a long time ago.
Now, I've been trying to use her but sometimes it's just not possible. She does give good buffs but the fact that she can't charge the party's or even just a single ally's NP gauge is a huge demerit. At least she's boosted for this event, which means she gets extra bond exp and ATK up.
Anyway, didn't get to try the other fights since I was either not interested in them, or they were no longer available.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 3 Bond Level Up
During this raid, only managed to get 4-star SR Caster Queen of Sheba or Caster of Midrash to go from bond level 5 to 6.
But I did make a lot of progress towards increasing the bond levels of multiple other Servants. Was able to participate in this raid until the end although IIRC, might have started a bit later.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 4 Team Comp Plans
For this fight, my team was gonna be Mélusine, double Koyanskaya, and Oberon with the Chaldea Combat Uniform Mystic Code and my level 100 The Black Grail Craft Essence.
The plan is to go for a 3-turn clear. Hopefully, NP1 Mélusine will be enough to clear the 90++ version of this raid.
From what I've heard and read, the level 90 and level 90+ versions of this raid will give the same bond exp as the level 90++ version. If that's true, then I'll just drop down to the lower levels to make things easier.
Maybe I can even clear the easier versions without needing to use the Chaldea Combat Uniform Mystic Code. We'll see, I guess.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 4 Fight
The raid quest battle 4 just started. Tried the aforementioned team comp on the level 90++ quest and was really glad to find out that it actually works.
Can't defeat all the mobs though since Mélusine leaves one of them with a bit of HP on turn 1.
Next time I tried this fight, targeted the mobs with the highest HP and hit them with face cards, which helped to finish them all off.
That was great but it took way too much time what with having to tap the mob and make sure they're being targeted. Even using the Order Change skill was taking a lot of time and, as usual, I thought it was a waste to bring it when I could be trying to level up my other Mystic Codes instead.
My Altria Caster is about to get to bond level 12. This will give me 30 SQ so I really wanted to get her to bond level 12 before this raid ends.
But just having Castoria in my backline and not using her at all feels weird and wrong. She's a support. It feels like a waste to have her in my party then not use her. If she's in my party, then I want to use her.
So that was yet another reason why I wanted to try a different comp for this raid.
I tried the level 90 and 90+ quests and confirmed that they all give the same bond exp.
Tried Mélusine's single target Arts NP with double Castoria on the level 90 quest and she was able to one-shot Lostbelt: Beast IV. So decided to just farm that stage over and over again until my Castoria finally gets to bond level 12.
One annoying thing about this is that I need to make sure to select the boss otherwise Mélusine will end up firing her NP on one of the mobs.
Eventually, was able to get Castoria to bond level 12. I talk more about this in another post but the 30 SQ I just got from Castoria actually gave me my 2nd copy of Mélusine. Yes!
I gave Castoria a bond grail or Lantern of Chaldea but I didn't want to bring her to the raids anymore because it was definitely not gonna last long enough for me to get her to another bond level.
Anyway, that's it for now. Gonna have to talk about the rest in another post since this one is getting long and already nearing the max limit of 30 pics per post.
Conclusion
So, what about you? What do you think about the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary event? Were you able to participate in the raids? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging this post.

Punishing: Gray Raven Mini Review
Punishing: Gray Raven (#ad) or PGR is a mobile game developed and published by Kuro Games.
Here's why I decided to try out this game, or how I ended up trying out this game.
Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia End of Service
I talk more about this in this post but when the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game announced that it was going to discontinue or end its service on February 29, 2024, decided that I would keep playing until the end.
Well now that end has sadly arrived. Wasn't looking for a new game though since I was also still playing the Fate/Grand Order or FGO and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius or FFBE mobile games. But then - well, a lot of things ended up happening.
Fate/Grand Order and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Summons
For starters, although I was supposed to be saving in both FGO and FFBE, ended up rolling on a banner on both games. This was totally not a good idea at all.
On FGO, wasted a lot of my tickets trying and failing to get 5-star SSR Berserker Arjuna Alter. To be fair, at least I was able to get my first copy of 4-star SR Saber Saito Hajime as well as my first copy of 3-star R Rider Christopher Columbus.
But while it's great that I was able to get 2 new Servants, it's also true that I don't really have a use for either of them. Already have other Riders and Sabers who can fill their roles. Besides, don't really like Columbus's personality or appearance in the game so would rather not use him.
Don't mind Saito, but I already have a NP5 or Noble Phantasm Level 5 4-star SR Saber Lancelot.
Overall, I kinda regret spending so many tickets on the Arjuna Alter banner. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if I'd at least gotten Arjuna Alter, or if I'd only spent like 10 tickets, but it ended up being way more than that, which just turned out to be quite the waste.
Should've just continued saving my tickets. At least I didn't end up using my Saint Quartz.
As for FFBE - it was even worse there since I ended up having to pity NV or Neo Vision Divine Archer Ang. Sure, at least I was able to get him but that cost a lot of lapis. But more than that, the main or another problem really was the fact that I don't even know who this guy is.
He's not a Final Fantasy char, and don't know his story at all. I mean, Arjuna Alter might not be a total fave or anything, but at least I know him and have seen him in FGO's story, and I like him well enough.
But the same can't be said for Divine Archer Ang at all. Been hearing about how good he is, and I've seen a number of rank 1 clears of the current Clash of Wills event that features him.
After pitying him, maybe I could have tried getting rank 1 in Clash of Wills too. But I just wasn't feeling up to doing that at all. Just cleared up to the max of level 99 of the aforementioned event and called it a day.
Didn't even use Ang for that since I cleared said event before getting him. So basically, I ended up pitying this guy for no reason. After getting him, he basically sat in my inventory at level 1 since I didn't even bother to do anything with him. What a waste.
To be fair, I did end up leveling him up for the next Clash of Wills event since I saw a level 99 clear that had him in the party. So I got him up to speed just to replicate said vid. Got my level 99 clear and once again didn't feel up to bothering trying to rank 1 said event.
So I still regret pulling for Divine Archer Ang, especially since even now, still don't know him, and didn't even bother to use him to get rank 1 in Clash of Wills.
Found myself missing DFFOO for a number of reasons. For one thing, if it were still around, I could have pulled there instead. Now I found myself thinking of maybe trying out another game, one in which I can summon on banners while continuing to save in FFBE and FGO.
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Lack of Content
Recently, there's beeen a lack of content in FFBE. We haven't had a Dark Visions or even Vision World event in months. Even Clash of Wills doesn't seem to be happening regularly anymore.
More and more often, it seems like the only "content" we get for the week is a new banner to pull on.
Then, when we did get an event, it was one where you just farm the same stage over and over again to get all the rewards. On top of that, they made that event last for like 3 weeks, and they increased the number of points you needed in order to get all the rewards.
To be fair, at least you can just auto farm that event over and over again, but still. That can't really be called content, can it?
Aside from that, or maybe because of that, I'm slowly losing interest in FFBE. I still log in, but there isn't anything to do other than auto farming which isn't exactly fun or engaging.
Anyway, I guess I'll talk more about that in another post, but the main point is just that since there's barely anything to do in FFBE, it was all the more reason for me to seriously look around for another game.
Was thinking of one where I can just roll whenever I want, and which is easy enough that it can be played casually without having to think about meta or whatever.
Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis Mobile Game
I've heard about the Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis mobile game but, at the moment, have no plans of trying this out for a number of reasons.
For one, actually been hearing lots of bad things about this game like how grindy it is and how not only is the story heavily abridged, it's also very slow to update. So I thought it would be better to just wait until there's more improvements in the game before trying it out.
Besides, there's also the fact that Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis only has a few playable chars so far.
Sure, I like FF7 chars like Tifa Lockhart and Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough, but I would really like a playable Genesis Rhapsodos. Because currently, Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is my fave Final Fantasy VII char.
The fact that he's playable in FFBE as well as the fact that I have him fully built and maxed out there is the main reason why I'm reluctant to delete that game even if there's barely anything going on there right now. Honestly, still hoping that Genesis might eventually get an update there, or that they'd release a new version of him or something.
If Genesis was playable in Ever Crisis, then would gladly try out the game now regardless of how bad it might be.
Would also like Angeal Hewley from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII to be playable there as well.
I know there's already a young version of Sephiroth in Ever Crisis but prefer him older or an adult and with long hair.
Also, maybe - okay, I guess I'm totally biased, but if we're getting a young version of Sephi, then I wish he could have been with Genesis and Angeal, his friends, instead of whoever those chars from that First Soldier game are.
Ahh, to think we could have had young versions of Genesis, Angeal, and Sephiroth, and we could have had stories about their adventures and missions and such. Sigh.
Punishing: Gray Raven in Play Store
Anyway, so I started looking around for possible games to try out. To make a long story short, came across Punishing: Gray Raven in the Play Store and became interested in trying it out.
This was thanks to how it actually showed what was currently going on in said game. This included images as well as a short description of current events and banners.
I saw this pic featuring a woman with long silver or white hair and wielding what appears to be a katana. My first thought was "Sephiroth!" LOL.
I mean, I know it's not him, of course, but that was the first thing that came to mind and what got me interested in trying out PGR.
Guess I'm really missing DFFOO where I have a fully built and maxed out Sephiroth who I use pretty often.
Anyway, as can be seen in the screenshots above and below, the char in question is actually called Lucia: Crimson Weave.
Note: the above screenshots were taken after I'd already downloaded PGR.
New Player Experience in Punishing: Gray Raven
So I started playing Punishing: Gray Raven. Unfortunately, the new player experience in this game was pretty awful.
Summon Banners in Punishing: Gray Raven
For starters, even after the tutorial was over, the summon banners were still not available.
When the summons finally got unlocked, didn't even get enough Black Cards to do a multi-draw. I was like, next time I try out a game, should probably wait until there's some special event, or anniversary, or something going on that would give extra rewards and such.
S-Rank Omniframe Choice Pack
When I first started playing PGR, got a S-Rank Omniframe Choice Pack. This gives you 1 S-rank char for free. This is nice and helpful but would still have preferred to have been able to pull on Lucia: Crimson Weave's banner already, especially since she was the reason why I started playing this game in the first place.
Much later, I would find out that the 10 chars featured in this pack are all old already.
Anyway, when I started playing PGR, wanted to be super casual and not care about the meta. So didn't bother looking up guides and such.
When I got the S-Rank Omniframe Choice Pack, picked a char based on who looked the most interesting to me. Already saw a few of them in the story but still didn't know that much about any of them.
Ended up going with Lee: Entropy. He's a DPS, and a pretty good one at that, but of course, his damage output is sadly nothing compared to the chars who've been released after him.
Don't exactly regret picking Lee: Entropy. He did help me get through the early parts of the story. But considering what ended up happening, or, to be more precise, who I ended up getting later on, if I could go back in time, then I'd just pick Liv: Luminance to complete the meta physical team.
Punishing: Gray Raven Gameplay
The gameplay of Punishing: Gray Raven is very different since it's not turn-based like FGO, FFBE, and DFFOO. It's not bad, just different, and something I'm not really used to.
At first, running through the story mode was pretty easy. Just used Lee: Entropy to help me breeze through the early stages. Was basically able to just spam skills and attacks to defeat all the enemies.
Then I got to like chapter 3 or 4 where I had to fight this butler who had multiple lives and who dealt a lot of damage. After losing, went to try and level up my chars some more but that was when I found out that apparently, the maximum level that my chars could get to was tied to my current player level.
Like if I was at player level 10, then none of my chars can be leveled higher than 10. This was really annoying, to say the least.
I think I was stuck at like level 15 back then. Can't remember the exact details for sure now, but I tried to level up some more. Didn't manage to get my level that high though.
Wanted to try the fight again already so I could keep getting more Black Cards to pull for Crimson Weave. After losing a few more times, I managed to get a run wherein I was able to beat as many of the butler's lives as possible before dying. When that happened, just paid the cogs needed to revive my chars and continue where I left off.
After noticing the cost to revive my chars didn't require Black Cards, and seeing that I have thousands of cogs, readily spent them already so I could move on from this part of the story. I suppose this is like using my Command Spells in FGO.
Punishing: Gray Raven Content
When I first started playing PGR, it seemed like there wasn't much going on other than the story, but that was just because everything, or what seems like everything anyway, is locked behind your player level.
More and more content got unlocked as my player level went up. This included a lot of currently-ongoing events as well as other features and things to do in the game.
So before I was like, there doesn't seem to be much to do other than the story. Then when everything or mostly everything got unlocked, it was like, wow, it seems like they added everything and the kitchen sink because there was a lot going on. Maybe too much, actually.
For instance, there was this cooking game event thing. I actually like this event, and the chibi versions of the chars look really cute, but really? A cooking mini-game thing in this game? Well, at least it was super chill since it was basically idle after you set up what the chars should cook and such.
Was actually sad when that mini-game ended. Too bad it wasn't permanent content.
Speaking of permanent content, some of that includes a dorm and even a guild feature.

Things to Like in Punishing: Gray Raven
Here are some of the things I like in PGR:
Music
Haven't listened to all the music in this game but I really liked some of the ones I've heard so far. Was surprised to find that there are even some songs that are voiced.
For example, one of the songs I really like was Resounding Storm by Carolin "Wonder" Mrugala. Was actually surprised to find that there's an English song in this game.
youtube
Was looking for a Resounding Storm vid so I could add it to this post, and that was when I found that there are actually 2 more versions of this song, one in Chinese and another in Japanese.
Here's the Chinese version:
youtube
Here's the Japanese version:
youtube
Too bad only the English version of this song is in the game.
Another song I ended up liking was Dim Light by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka. This one's in Japanese.
youtube
I usually switch between Dim Light and Resounding Storm as my current theme in the game.
Chibi
The chibi versions of the chars look really cute and adorable.

All Characters and Costumes Visible
Was surprised to find that we can look at all the available characters and costumes in this game even if we don't have them.

Of course, the chars and costumes you don't have can't actually be used but it's nice to be able to get a closer look at all of them. You can even see information about their skills and such.
There are also tutorial stages for all chars so you can try them out in battle.

And there are also trial stages for outfits where you can check out how chars move and what their animations and such look like with their costumes equipped.
Also, I like how the character screen makes it possible to look at each char in different angles. This makes it easier to see more details on what they're wearing.
Switching Between Different Voice Languages
I like how easy it is to switch between the different available voice languages in this game. PGR offers 3 voice languages - English, Japanese, and Chinese.
I prefer Japanese voices with English subtitles but I like that I can easily change the voices to English or Chinese then back to Japanese again whenever I want.
Art
Like some of the art in this game. There are chars that look really nice like Lucia: Crimson Weave and Bianca: Stigmata.

Banners
There are a lot of different types of banners in PGR. What I like the most are the banners where you're 100% guaranteed to get the featured S-rank char in 60 pulls. Best of all, pity carries over for the same type of banner and there's no 50/50.

Things to Dislike in Punishing: Gray Raven
Here are some of the things I dislike in PGR:
Hard Content
There seems to be a lot of hard content in PGR which I don't like since, as mentioned, was looking for a game that lets me play casually with chars I like.
Building Characters
It seems like there's way too much that's needed to build chars in this game. Aside from simply raising levels and skills, chars also have weapons and memories.

Each char can equip up to 6 memories. Memories have this feature called Resonance wherein you can roll up to 2 stats on said memories. Each char has their own preferred stat but, unless you have a 6★ Memory Resonance Material Pick, you can't choose what stat gets resonated on the memories.
So you have to keep farming and trying until you get the stats you want. Because naturally, it's not easy to get 6★ Memory Resonance Material Picks.
Aside from Resonance, there's also Hypertune which is yet another way to further upgrade memories.
Weapons can also be resonated. There are also things like Leap, Ultima Awakening, etc.
As if all that wasn't already more than enough as it was, each char can also equip these things called Combat Unit Boosters or CUBs. They're like pets or summons.
Chars can also be further upgraded if you have dupes of them.
Overall, it really does feel like there's way too much going on here.
Weapon Banner
You can get 5-star and lower weapons without pulling, but if you want a 6-star weapon, then the only way to get some is to pull on weapon banners.
Unfortunately, the weapon banner doesn't have a 100% guarantee. You can pick a 6-star weapon and then, after 30 pulls, there's a 80% chance that the 6-star weapon you get will be the one you picked.
Resource Farming Event and Shop
Each patch has a quest or stage that you can farm over and over again to get event currency. You can then use this currency to exchange for various items in the event shop.
This is nice, but there are a number of things I dislike about this. First of all, you can't auto the farming stage until you reach like level 25.
Each time you run this stage, your level increases and you get buffs and such to make it even easier to run said stage. Still, it's annoying that players can't just auto farm this event right away, or even just right after clearing it once.
You can buy memories in the event shop but each one costs hundreds of the event currency. Combine that with the fact that each char needs 6 memories, and that to resonate a memory, you need a dupe of said memory, means you'll need an exorbitant amount of event currency which also means lots and lots of farming since you only get like 60+ currency per quest clear.
Phantom Pain Cage
Phantom Pain Cage is an event or game mode that happens every week. Players fight enemies multiple times, and they earn a score based on how long it took them to win and how much health their chars have left after the fight.
You get points depending on your score. The more points you get, the better your rewards.
You're also ranked against other players. The higher your rank, the better the rewards.
Rewards include these things called Phantom Pain Scars. These can be used to purchase the shards needed to further upgrade your chars.
One of the things I don't like about this is how your progress seems to be tied with how well you play this game mode. Like if you don't get a high score and rank, then it could take a long time before you can upgrade your chars.
IIRC, you get some rewards if you just participate but obviously it won't be as much as if you scored and ranked high. Also, even just participating requires a bit of effort since this mode can't be autoed. For someone like me who is looking for something more casual, this isn't it.
War Zone
War Zone is a event or game mode that's similar to Phantom Pain Cage except this one happens every few days or so. This game mode also has rewards and such tied to rankings and score.
But unlike Phantom Pain Cage, after clearing the first few stages once, you can auto these stages every time they come back. So the only stage you need to bother with is the last one, which unfortunately can't be autoed.
Text Appearing During Quests
Sometimes, after reading through a cut scene and having the fighting part start already, some text will show up on the screen. This is annoying because sometimes the enemies will show up and start attacking already, or this could happen while the fight is already ongoing so it's hard to focus on what the text is saying while trying to stay alive at the same time.
There are also times wherein I end up accidentally tapping through the text because I wasn't expecting it to show up, and I'm getting ready for the fight to start like having my char move already or head towards the enemies.
Upcoming Content or Patches
The Global or English version of Punishing: Gray Raven is several months or so behind the original version, which I don't like since it seems like such a long wait for content and stuff to happen. Already dealing with that in FGO so would prefer for patches in PGR to drop or happen faster.
Serum Time Limit
Serum is the item used to replenish stamina or energy in PGR. This is similar to the apples in FGO. But unlike in FGO where apples don't expire, the serum in PGR has a time limit.
This is annoying since you're forced to use your serum unless you want to let it go to waste. Wish PGR would let us save our serum and use them whenever we want.
Story Serum Cost
The story quests in Punishing: Gray Raven cost serum. At first, the serum cost wasn't that bad but as I got to the later chapters, the cost just kept going up.
It made me wish that this game would have some sort of special event or something where the serum cost to play through the story will be halved or even outright free like in FGO, especially because PGR doesn't give a lot of serums and these items have a time limit so you can't save them.
Lost in Whitebloom Event
Lost in Whitebloom is one of the events that got unlocked after increasing my player level some more. It includes a story about Bianca, one of the playable chars in this game.
By pulling on the banner that came with this event, you can also get the Solitary Dream costume or coating and the Snow Oath weapon coating.
Solitary Dream is a costume for the S-rank char Bianca: Stigmata while Snow Oath is the coating for her swordstaff weapon.

Played through the story in this time-limited event and thought it was pretty interesting although there were a lot of things I didn't get since, at that time, I was still early in the main story and haven't even formally met Bianca yet.
Ended up liking Bianca in that story. Thought her costume or coating looked pretty nice too. Even got to try out Bianca: Stigmata in some of the stages in said event.
If seeing Lucia: Crimson Weave made me think of Sephiroth, then seeing Bianca: Stigmata in her Solitary Dream costume made me think of 5-star SSR Ruler Jeanne d'Arc from FGO.
Aside from both being blonde, the Lost in Whitebloom story even referred to Bianca as a holy maiden, and it mentioned her praying and such, and there was even a church, etc.
All this got me interested in pulling for Bianca: Stigmata. She actually has a banner right now, but she unfortunately shares the rate-up with 2 other S-rank chars.

If you pull on that banner and happen to get a S-rank char, there's like a 70% chance that that will be Bianca: Stigmata.

This is unlike Lucia: Crimson Weave's banner where she's the only S-rank on rate-up. So if you pull on Lucia's banner and happen to get a S-rank char, it's 100% guaranteed to be Crimson Weave.

In short, it was a bad idea to pull on the current Bianca: Stigmata banner.
As for the Solitary Dream coating - at first, I thought we could actually get this for free as part of the Lost in Whitebloom event.
When I first opened the Lost in Whitebloom event page in the game, there was something there about using the event currency to pull on the event banner. And there was a list of the possible stuff you can get by pulling. This includes Solitary Dream and Snow Oath.
So I thought this seemed similar to the lotto events in FGO. There, you farm quests to get currency which you can then use to roll on the lotto boxes.
Once I finished the Lost in Whitebloom event story, was confused when there didn't seem to be any quest I could run over and over again to get event currency.
It was only after taking another look at the event info that I realized that you can only get the event currency by using Black Cards to exchange for them. I think you can also get them with those Rainbow Card things but those cost money.
Well, was still trying to get Lucia: Crimson Weave, and didn't even have Bianca: Stigmata so there was no reason to get the costume. But it is too bad that it costs Black Cards or money to get.
Second Free S-Rank Omniframe Selector
Got another S-rank Omniframe selector though don't remember anymore when and how I got this. Since that annoying butler fight, I started looking up some guides about PGR.
So after getting this selector, asked around and got the info that the best char to pick from this was Rosetta: Rigor. Haven't met her in the story yet, and just based on the appearance of the chars on this selector, she wouldn't have been my first pick.
Apparently, Rosetta: Rigor is part of the meta physical team alongside Bianca: Stigmata and Liv: Luminance. Don't have the other 2 chars but I ended up picking Rosetta anyway.
No regrets. Used her alongside Lee: Entropy, and she is good, even considering that I can't fully build her yet.
Basic, Standard, or Regular Banner
The currency used on the basic, standard, or regular banner is different from the one used in the Lucia: Crimson Weave banner. There is a pity here, but the S-rank you get will be random, and Lucia: Crimson Weave isn't available in this banner.
Eventually, was able to reach the pity in this banner. Was bracing myself for the worst since there was a possibility that I'll end up getting a dupe of Lee: Entropy or Rosetta: Rigor or an old and useless char.
And so imagine my surprise when I actually got someone new and useful.

Yup, that's right. Just got my first copy of S-rank Bianca: Stigmata.

Hell, yes! Was totally not expecting that at all, but this was a very welcome surprise.

This 10-pull even gave me my first copy of A-rank Liv: Lux. Also got some char shards, including one of Bianca: Stigmata's.

After getting Bianca: Stigmata, I basically stopped using Lee: Entropy since she was way better than him, and since both were DPS, it wasn't a good idea to put them on the same team.
Now was back to being tempted to get Bianca's coating. It's not perfect, and there are things that I don't like about it, but I prefer it to her default outfit. But since I still don't have Lucia: Crimson Weave, needed to focus on getting her first.
Anyway, here's another pic of the results of one of my multi-draws although can't remember now if this was from the regular banner or the Lucia: Crimson Weave banner. This one gave me 2 A-rank dupes that automatically got converted to shards.

Lucia: Crimson Weave Banner
Eventually, after what seemed like forever, managed to get my first copy of Lucia: Crimson Weave.

Yes! But also, ugh. Because I ended up having to pity her. At least I managed to do so before her banner ended. And managed to get a lot of A-ranks from pulling on this banner.

Had to grind a lot, which really burned me out to the point where I was thinking of quitting. But I didn't want to just quit after spending all that time and effort trying to get Lucia.

So continued playing PGR. Prioritized leveling up and building Lucia: Crimson Weave. She is really good. She's a DPS like Bianca: Stigmata and Lee: Entropy, but for the lightning element.

Was looking at a list of upcoming content and seeing that there was no one there that really interested me, decided to keep pulling on the Lucia: Crimson Weave banner every time I get enough currency to do so.
At least pity carries over, and getting a Lucia dupe will let me further upgrade her and make her more powerful.
Unfortunately, wasn't able to get another copy of Crimson Weave before her banner ended.
Was actually annoyed that the Lucia banner ended and yet the patch that it came with wasn't over yet. Why'd they end the banner so soon? They didn't even replace it with a similar banner so there's nothing to pull on unless you want to try your luck on the banners where you only have a 70% chance to get the char you want.
Punishing: Gray Raven Story
The story in Punishing: Gray Raven is not that bad. It's nothing like FGO's story, but it's interesting enough, I suppose. There seems to be a lot of filler in the early parts, but there are also some intriguing bits here and there.
I've also noticed that there are times wherein a char is speaking but their image doesn't show up on the screen. It also sometimes feels like the chars are or look a little bland, as in they don't have a lot of expressions and reactions like they mostly look the same with barely any changes in their facial expressions.
This is unlike in FGO where the chars are way more expressive, and you can easily see a difference in their facial expressions depending on what is currently happening.
(Warning: some and/or possible spoilers about the story in Punishing: Gray Raven below)
After getting Lucia: Crimson Weave, continued playing through the story mode, this time with her as my main DPS.
In Chapter 10, there was a debate on what the people of the Akdilek Commercial Alliance should do - move to Babylonia or make a deal with the Ascendants.
Then a char named Sophia presented a third option - she said she wanted to create a world where people could walk freely on Earth without having to worry about the Punishing Virus so they shouldn't need to move to Babylonia or make a deal with the Ascendants for their survival.
Well, long story short, that third option was what everyone ended up agreeing to do. Don't agree with this option at all though because Sophia doesn't actually have a plan on how she was going to make that happen. At this point, it was just a dream. A really nice dream, to be sure, but still nothing more than a dream.
In the first place, the reason the Akdilek Commercial Alliance wanted to make a deal with Babylonia or the Ascendants was because of the Punishing Virus. Sophia's so-called "proposal" doesn't actually solve anything. She didn't give any plans on how to actually achieve her proposal.
In the end, it seemed like nothing had changed since the Akdilek Commercial Alliance still remained on the train where they could still be in danger from the Punishing Virus.
In Chapter 12, the dark-haired Lucia is revealed to be a clone. I already figured that out based on reading through a few of the side stories. In fact, I was looking forward to how this reveal was going to be handled in the main story.
I still remember way back in Chapter 1 when the dark-haired Lucia fought Alpha, someone who appeared to be a white-haired version of her. During that fight, Lucia said she couldn't see Alpha clearly.
Their similarity intrigued me. Was looking forward to finding out what was really going on.
So when Chapter 12 mentioned Lucia being a clone, I was disappointed to find the chars acting like this was no big deal. Then there was this part where Lucia was being asked when she knew she was a clone, and she mentioned some incident or other.
And I was like, huh? The reveal happened already? When? Did I miss something? Was confused so I looked up summaries of the story chapters, and that was when I found out that, apparently, there are some side stories that happen in between chapters.
This really pissed me off because the game doesn't say anything about that at all, so how are players supposed to know? Of course, I wasn't looking up summaries or anything about the story since I didn't want to risk seeing spoilers.
Was going through the chapters in order as they got unlocked. After finishing Chapter 11, Chapter 12 got unlocked. So of course I started reading through Chapter 12.
Ugh. Honestly, that side story should have been part of the main story. Alternatively, they should have locked the chapters and let you know that so-and-so content needs to be cleared first.
Anyway, so I stopped playing through the main story, intending to read through the side story in question but, up to now, have yet to do that.
I guess I kinda, sorta lost interest because of what happened. I mean, I'm still kinda curious about the story, but I suppose not to the point of being eager to read through all of it as soon as possible.
Also, it felt like the chars weren't taking the clone thing seriously enough. Lucia seemed to just brush off the fact that she's a clone of Alpha who's apparently the real Lucia. Shouldn't she have more of a reaction to that?
I don't know if that's explored more in the side story, but I feel like the main story should have focused on this a bit more too.
Anyway, all that just added to the burn out that I was still feeling. And I was starting to think the things I dislike about this game outweighed the positives.
I looked at the future upcoming chars list again, and there was still no one that really caught my attention, not like what happened with Lucia and Bianca and even Lee.
All that combined with how I do want something more casual had me looking for another game to try. I am still interested in PGR's story, particularly Lucia: Crimson Weave's and Bianca: Stigmata's, so I'll probably return to the game in the future. Maybe there will be more improvements and such by then, but for now, this is goodbye.
Conclusion
So what about you? What do you think the Punishing: Gray Raven mobile game? What do you think about chars like Lucia: Crimson Weave, Bianca: Stigmata, and Lee: Entropy? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Dusk to Dawn Co-Op Event Part 2
The Dusk to Dawn co-op event just started in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game.
This is the last co-op event in DFFOO. Sadly, the reason for that is because Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia just announced that it will discontinue or end its service on February 29, 2024.
The end of service announcement news came as a shock. I talk more about that in another post, but I really wish the news wasn’t true. Wish the game wasn’t ending at all.
But since DFFOO is unfortunately ending soon, started taking lots of in-game screenshots for the memories.
Dusk to Dawn Co-Op Event Information
The Dusk to Dawn co-op event consists of 3 sets of different quests. The schedule is as follows:
Set I: Evil Gazes at Dusk Wed., Nov. 29, at 04:00 until Mon., Jan. 1, at 01:59 UTC
Set II: Ogres Parade the Night Mon., Jan. 1, at 02:00 until Thu., Feb. 1, at 01:59 UTC
Set III: Soul Caged by Dawn Thu., Feb. 1, at 02:00 until Thu., Feb. 29, at 03:59 UTC
Each set will have the following quests:
Expert (co-op) (level 70)
Chaos (level 180)
Chaos (co-op) (level 180)
Lufenia (level 200)
Lufenia (co-op) (level 200)
Shinryu (level 300)
Shinryu (co-op) (level 300)
The co-op quests will give Event Tokens and Artifact Tokens with the Shinryu co-op giving the most rewards.
All the playable chars in DFFOO are boosted in the Dusk to Dawn quests.
Was able to play through all the quests in the Dusk to Dawn co-op event but sadly, was only able to take screenshots from the Soul Caged by Dawn Shinryu quest.
Soul Caged by Dawn Co-Op Quest Party Screen
Below is a pic of the Soul Caged by Dawn Shinryu quest co-op Party screen.
I’ve opted to solo this co-op so all the chars shown are from my party. These chars are Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII (#ad), Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, and Weiss the Immaculate from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. All 3 are as fully built and maxed out as they can possibly be.
Sephiroth is equipped with Cid Raines’s (from Final Fantasy XIII) Call Ability. Kadaj is equipped with Seymour Guado’s (from Final Fantasy X) Call Ability. Weiss is equipped with Rydia’s (from Final Fantasy IV) Call Ability. Brought Bahamut as my summon.

The pics below show Sephiroth during the Bahamut summon.
In the above pic, it’s currently Sephiroth’s turn. He has 2 uses of Scintilla, his LD ability, 7 uses of Fervent Blow, his first skill, and 6 uses of Octaslash, his second skill, left. His Ex ability, Black Materia, is currently fully charged. He has over 50k HP and thousands of brave.
The 2 enemies are down to 3% and 2% HP. There’s only 1 turn of force time left and the HP damage bonus is currently at 999%.
This pic is very similar to the one above. In the above pic, Sephiroth's team mates are Weiss and Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII while in this one, his team mates are Kadaj and Aerith.
In the above pic, the enemies are down to 25% and 30% HP while in the pic below, there’s only one enemy left, and it’s down to 9% HP.
This pic shows Sephiroth during the Bahamut summon with Kadaj and Weiss as his team mates.
In this pic, there’s only one enemy left, and it’s down to 12% HP. Weiss’s, Kadaj’s, and Sephiroth’s Burst+ effects are currently active. Sephiroth’s Additional Ability and Kadaj’s Force ability are also currently active.
This pic shows Sephiroth during his Burst+ mode. He’s already used Scintilla and Black Materia but he still has 1 use each of Fervent Blow and Octaslash. He can also still use his HP Attack++.
He has 2 turns of his Burst+ phase time left. There’s only 1 enemy on the field, and said enemy is basically dead already since it only has 1% HP.
This pic also shows Sephiroth during his Burst+ mode. This time, he only has 1 turn of Burst+ time left, and he’s about to cast Heaven’s Light, his finishing Burst+ move.
This pic shows Kadaj during the Bahamut summon. His team mates are Sephiroth and Aerith.
The enemies he's up against are both down to 14% HP. There are 2 more turns of force time left, and the HP damage bonus is at 999%.

Below are battle screenshots from the Soul Caged by Dawn co-op quest.
Sephiroth Soul Caged by Dawn Co-Op Quest Battle Screenshots
The screenshot below shows Sephiroth in the process of casting Heaven’s Light, his finishing Burst+ move. He's standing close to the screen, and there is a black feather in front of him.
The pic below is very similar to the one above. In this one, Sephiroth is also in the process of casting Heaven’s Light. He’s facing the screen, and he’s holding his katana in his left hand. His black wing is visible, and there is a black feather in front of him.
The pic below is very similar to the ones above. It just shows Sephiroth in a slightly different angle or view.
This pic also shows Sephiroth in the process of casting Heaven's Light but this time he's standing further back. He's facing the screen with his wing out and his katana in his left hand. His eyes are closed.
Aerith can also be seen in this pic. She's one of Sephiroth's team mates for this co-op. In this pic, she's standing to the side. She's wearing her long, red dress, and she's holding her weapon with both hands.
The pic also shows some of Sephiroth's passives activating, including the 3 A Spheres he's equipped with - Breaking Power, Debuff Power, and Critical Power.
The pic below was taken during the summon. Sephiroth and Aerith are visible in this pic.
IIRC, Sephiroth is either about to cast his Ex ability, Black Materia, or his Force Echo, Black Conflict, in this pic. He’s facing the screen with his katana in his left hand.
Above his head, the buffs he has are visible. He has 3 icons below, near his leg. These indicate that his Additional Ability, Burst+ effect, and Force ability are all currently active.
The pic below shows Sephiroth in the process of casting Black Materia, his Ex ability.
The pic below shows Sephiroth in the process of casting Black Conflict, his Force ability. He’s facing the screen while holding his katana in his left hand.
There is some text above Sephiroth, which says:
By my hand, this world shall be…
Weiss the Immaculate Soul Caged by Dawn Co-Op Quest Battle Screenshots
The pic below shows Weiss in the process of casting his Force ability, Black White Emulsion.
In this pic, Weiss is facing the screen while holding one weapon in each hand. There is a textbox near the top of the screen that says:
Indulge me.
The above pic also shows one of Weiss’s A Spheres, Breaking Power, activating.
The pic below shows Caius Ballad from Final Fantasy XIII. He's Weiss's Force ability partner. This means he shows up as part of the animation of Weiss's Force ability.
In this pic, Caius is facing the screen while holding his weapon in one hand. There is a textbox near the top of the screen that says:
What ego... Clearly you are a hazard.
Actually, was trying to take a screenshot of Weiss while he's casting Black White Emulsion but ended up getting a pic of Caius instead. LOL. At least was able to get the Weiss screenshot above after trying again.
Kadaj Soul Caged by Dawn Co-Op Quest Battle Screenshots
The pic below shows Kadaj in the process of casting his Force ability, Geotomy.
In this pic, Kadaj is facing the screen while holding his weapon in one hand. There is a textbox near the top of the screen that says:
Show me your true power.
And that’s it for now. There’s a few more screenshots but have to continue in another post because already nearing the max limit of 30 pics per post in this one.
Conclusion

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Dusk to Dawn Co-Op Event Part 1
Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Voice Lines
Each char in DFFOO has voice lines that can only be used in co-op quests.
Each char has at least 6 lines. 3 of these lines can be obtained by completing the Character Enhancement Boards for a char’s 15cp, 35cp, and Ex weapons. The rest can be bought from the Dissidia Points Shop.
Even before the game gave its end of service announcement news, was already able to obtain all of the available voice lines for each char. Well, except for 2 voice lines but will talk more about that later.
Sephiroth Voice Lines
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII (#ad) has a total of 7 voice lines in Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia.
Before DFFOO gave its end of service announcement news, already have all of Sephiroth’s voice lines, all except for 2 that I haven’t bought from the Dissidia Points Shop.
These are Sephiroth Line 1 and Sephiroth Line 3.
Sephiroth Line 1 says:
…Mother…it’s almost time.
Sephiroth Line 3 says:
…Good boy.
Don’t remember for sure now why I didn’t bother to buy these lines from the shop because I actually bought everything else that’s in there.
Soon, the only things that were left in the shop were the last 2 of Sephiroth’s voice lines as well as the items that refresh every week (like the Power Stones) and the ones that have no limit (like gil).
Well, now that the game is ending soon, decided to finally buy these 2 voice lines.
Here is a list of all of Sephiroth’s voice lines:
…Mother…it’s almost time.
…It is time…
…Good boy.
I will meld with it all.
So how does it feel?
Ha, ha, ha…… Stop acting as if you are sad.
Shall I give you despair?
Weiss the Immaculate Voice Lines
Weiss the Immaculate from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII has the following voice lines:
Either way, see you in Deepground.
Now…let the hunt begin!
I’ll let you have your revenge.
At last.
The time has come to cleanse this world.
Beaten, stabbed, and crushed. Garroted and impaled. Shot and executed without mercy.
Kadaj Voice Lines
Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children has the following voice lines:
Hold on, he’s coming.
Now I shall heal you. And we will go to Mother together!
We will join as a family and strike back at the planet!
I’m with her at last.
So what if I’m a puppet…
My Reunion… Bet you’re dying to watch.
Zack Fair Voice Lines
Zack Fair from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII has the following voice lines:
I wouldn’t do that to you.
We’re friends, after all.
If we pull this off, we’ll all be heroes!
Hold on, I’m a-comin’!
Embrace your dreams.
And, whatever happens, protect your honor.
Sadly, wasn’t able to take screenshots of Zack’s voice lines before the game ended.
Aerith Gainsborough Voice Lines
Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII has the following voice lines:
…Hmmmm. Sure, good excuse…
Let’s go on a date!
I know it’s going to be tough, but… We can do it!
I’m searching for you.
I won’t let you do it! The future is not just yours!
I’ll come back when it’s all over.
Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Stickers
DFFOO has a stickers feature that can only be used in co-op quests. These can be bought from the Dissidia Points Shop.
These stickers have some text on them and you can use these to communicate with other players during co-op quests such as by greeting them or thanking them.
These stickers are voiced although there are some that just have Mog saying "Kupo" in various tones. There are also some stickers that are animated.
Some chars in DFFOO got a set of stickers. Too bad not all of the chars got stickers.
Even before DFFOO gave its end of service announcement news, was already able to obtain all of the available stickers in the game.
Sephiroth Stickers
Sephiroth has a total of 5 stickers in Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia.
Sephiroth’s stickers have the following text:
You called?
Good. Very good.
Well done.
That’s far enough.
I will never be a Memory.
I have all of Sephiroth’s stickers equipped basically permanently. But I usually change my other stickers.
Aerith Gainsborough Stickers
Aerith has a total of 4 stickers in Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia.
Aerith’s stickers have the following text:
Let’s give it our best
Wow!
That was close!
We’ll meet again. I know it.
Sadly, wasn’t able to take a screenshot of all of Aerith’s stickers before the game ended forever.
Zack Fair Stickers
Zack Fair has 4 stickers. They have the following text:
Nice hustle!
SOLDIER 1st class Zack, on the job!
I love you, man!
Come and get it!
Sadly, wasn’t able to take a screenshot of all of Zack’s stickers before the game ended forever.
Soul Caged by Dawn Co-Op Quest Battle Screenshots
Below are battle screenshots from the Soul Caged by Dawn co-op quest.
Sephiroth Soul Caged by Dawn Co-Op Quest Battle Screenshots
This pic shows Sephiroth in the process of casting Heaven’s Light, his finishing Burst+ move. This is during his Burst+ phase.
Kadaj is visible in this pic too as one of Sephiroth’s allies. He’s standing to the side with his weapon in his left hand. One of Weiss’s hands and one of his swords can be seen further away.
This pic is similar to the one above. In the above pic, Sephiroth is shown starting to float but in this pic, he’s still on the ground. Kadaj is basically in the same position as he was in the above pic, and part of Weiss is also still visible in this pic.
The activation of Breaking Power, Debuff Power, and Critical Power can also be seen in this pic. These are Sephiroth's equipped A Spheres.
In the above pics, Sephiroth's black wing is visible. He's holding his katana in his left hand, and he's wearing his Extra Costume 1.
This pic shows both Sephiroth and Kadaj. Sephiroth is facing the screen with his katana in his left hand. Kadaj is standing to the side, holding his own weapon in his left hand.
Both of them have 2 icons below them. Kadaj’s icons indicate that the effects of his Burst+ move and Force ability are both currently active. Sephiroth’s icons indicate that his Additional Ability and his Bust+ effect are currently active.
The pic below is basically the same as the one above with some very minor differences in terms of currently active buffs and their remaining turns and such.
The pic below shows Sephiroth, Aerith, and Kadaj. This was taken soon after the end of the Soul Caged by Dawn co-op quest. Once a battle ends, chars will pose on a screen before the results of the fight (like items dropped, score, etc) will show up.
The pic below is basically the same as the one above except this time the chars who are posing at the end of a fight are Sephiroth, Kadaj, and Weiss.
Weiss the Immaculate Soul Caged by Dawn Co-Op Quest Battle Screenshots
This pic shows shows Weiss in the process of casting his Ex ability, Bullets of Ruin. He’s facing the screen while holding one sword in each hand.
Too bad I forgot to turn off the feature that lists each char’s passives and such activating and which shows up on the upper left part of the screen. So in the pic above, some text is blocking part of Weiss.
This pic shows both Weiss and Kadaj standing next to each other. This is them posing at the end of a battle. Sephiroth is in this pic too but you can only see part of his boots since the Results tab is blocking the rest of the view of him.
Kadaj Soul Caged by Dawn Co-Op Quest Battle Screenshots
This pic shows Kadaj holding his weapon. Below him, 2 icons can be seen. These are the icons indicating that the effects of his Burst+ ability and Force ability are both currently active.
Part of a hand holding a katana and a boot can also be see in this pic. This is Sephiroth who is standing next to Kadaj.
This pic shows Kadaj in the process of casting his Ex ability, Divinity. He is facing away from the screen so you can only see his hair. He’s holding his weapon in one hand, and it’s pointed towards the screen.
The textbox near the top of the screen says “Divinity”. Text from Kadaj’s passives and such activating is sadly blocking part of the screen.
In the pic below, both Kadaj and Sephiroth can be seen. This is a shot of Kadaj in the process of casting Geodegradation, his Burst+ finisher.
Both of them are facing the screen and holding their weapons in one hand. Kadaj is in front while Sephiroth is standing behind him.
The pic below is a continuation of the above pic. This is another shot of Kadaj casting his Burst+ finisher. Sephiroth is also visible in this pic. He and Kadaj are facing the enemies with their weapons pointed at said enemies.
And that’s it for now. There’s a few more screenshots but have to continue in another post because already reached the max limit of 30 pics per post in this one.
Conclusion

Fate/Grand Order 20 Million Downloads Campaign Free 4-star Craft Essence Ticket Select
The 20 Million Downloads Campaign just started in the Fate/Grand Order (#ad) (FGO) mobile game. As part of this campaign, each player will get a 20 Mil DL Celebration Ticket (Craft Essence), which can be used to exchange for one of 47 eligible 4-star SR Craft Essences.

There’s a lot of Craft Essences or CEs to choose from so not sure who to pick yet. But need to make a decision as soon as possible because the aforementioned ticket will expire soon.
So let’s take a closer look at these eligible 4-star SR Craft Essences:
Gloucester in 2020, And Then, at Mt. Ooe, Together Tomorrow, Argonauts, Family Portrait, The Phoenix Alights, Girl Amidst the Flowers, and Heretical Yaga
All of the above Craft Essences are locked behind story progression. Depeneding on where you currently are in the story, one or more of these CEs may not be available for exchange.
Currently caught up with the story so all of these Craft Essences are visible to me when I go to the exchange shop.

They're all out though since I already have at least one copy of each of those CEs. After clearing certain parts of the story, you get 1 Craft Essence for free. The CE you get depends on which part of the story you cleared.
For instance, clearing Lostbelt No.6: Fae Round Table Domain, Avalon le Fae - The Moment a Planet Is Born will give 1 copy of Gloucester in 2020.

The Craft Essences listed below are not limited. This means that every time you roll on a banner, there's a chance that you'll get one of these CEs. That is, except for a few that have been removed from the pool.
The Illusory Confessional, Flowery Paradise, Guardians of the Garden, and Winter Crystal
These are some of the new Craft Essences that have just recently been added to the pool. Don't have a copy of any of these yet so they're all in for now.

The Vessel of Desire
Have a copy of this CE that's been limit broken twice. I think I'd rather get a new Craft Essence with this ticket so this one's out.
Imaginary Number Attribute
Have a copy of this CE that's fully MLB and even have 2 extras so this one's definitely out.

Gemstone Shots
Have a copy of this CE that's fully MLB so this one's out.
Royal Presence
Currently don't have a copy of this CE but I remember getting one or more copies before.
It has mixed stats, and its effect is:
Increase Quick Card effectiveness by 8% & increase NP Gain by 15% for yourself
There are better CEs so this one's out.

Rhythmed Birth
Currently have 2 copies of this CE so it's out.
The Beginning of Ambition
Currently don't have a copy of this CE but I remember getting one or more copies before.
Its stat is focused on attack, and its effect is:
Increase Arts Card effectiveness by 10% & increase HP Recovery amount by 10% for yourself
It's not that bad but there are better CEs so it's out.
La Folia
Currently don't have a copy of this CE but I remember getting one or more copies before.
It has mixed stats, and its effect is:
Increase Buster Card effectiveness by 10% & HP Recovery amount by 10% for yourself
There are better CEs so this one's out.
What Lies Beyond the Horizon
Have a copy of this that's fully MLB plus one extra so this one's out.

Cleaner, The Final Narrator, Room Guard, Innocent Maiden, Art of the Poisonous Snake, Record Holder, Golden Millennium Tree, Knight's Dignity, Code Cast, Seal Designation Enforcer, Be Elegant, Gem Magecraft: Antumbra, Primeval Curse, and Iron-Willed Training
These CEs are similar to La Folia in that I had a copy or more of them before but I've since used said copies as fodder to level up other CEs because the effects on these just aren't that good. In short, these are all out.
Covering Fire, Gentle Affection, Art of Death, With One Strike, Holy Shroud of Magdalene, Angel's Song, Verdant Sound of Destruction, Gandr, and Projection
Already have a fully MLB copy of each of these CEs so they're out.
Awakened Will
Have 2 fully MLB copies of this CE so it's out.
Necromancy
Have 1 fully MLB copy of this CE as well as 4 extras so it's out.
Divine Banquet
Have 2 fully MLB copies of this CE so it's out.

The Imaginary Element
Have 1 fully MLB copy of this CE as well as 1 extra so it's out.
So that leaves me with the following Craft Essences:
The Illusory Confessional
Flowery Paradise
Guardians of the Garden
Winter Crystal
Let's take a closer look at each of them then:
The Illusory Confessional
The stats and effects of this CE are as follows:
ATK 0 HP 600 (MAX: 2250) Skill Apply 15% Special Defense [Male] & increase NP Gain by 25% when damaged for yourself Max Limit Break: Apply 20% Special Defense [Male] & increase NP Gain by 30% when damaged for yourself

It's a good CE but only for certain situations. I think this should be out since I do already have a fully MLB Holy Shroud of Magdalene. The 2 are pretty similar with Holy Shroud of Magdalene having the following stats and effects:
ATK 0 HP 400 (MAX: 1500) Skill Apply 25% Special Defense [Male] Max Limit Break: Apply 30% Special Defense [Male]
Flowery Paradise
The stats and effects of this CE are as follows:
ATK 400 (MAX: 1500) HP 0 Skill Increase C. Star Gather Rate by 300% & increase Quick Card effectiveness by 8% for yourself Max Limit Break: Increase C. Star Gather Rate by 400% & increase Quick Card effectiveness by 10% for yourself

I think this one should be out as well. The Quick up is pretty good but already have lots of CEs that can do that. And the C. Star Gather Rate up doesn't seem that good either.
Guardians of the Garden
The stats and effects of this CE are as follows:
ATK 200 (MAX: 750) HP 320 (MAX: 1200) Skill Increase NP Gain by 15% & begin battle with NP charged at 30% for yourself Max Limit Break: Increase NP Gain by 20% & begin battle with NP charged at 50% for yourself

This is really similar to Divine Banquet which has the following stats and effects:
ATK 200 (MAX: 750) HP 300 (MAX: 1125) Skill Increase your NP Gain by 25% Max Limit Break: Increase your NP Gain by 30%
Guardians of the Garden may have a lower NP Gain up effect but it does come with starting NP gauge charge which can be really useful.
I do have other CEs that also give starting NP gauge charge and/or NP Gain up but those are 5-star SSR Craft Essences so they have a higher cost.
Guardians of the Garden has a lower cost since it's only a 4-star CE. Kinda interested in getting this Craft Essence since it can be useful for my supports who need to use their Noble Phantasm or NP as often as possible. I guess it's in for now.
Winter Crystal
The stats and effects of this CE are as follows:
ATK 400 (MAX: 1500) HP 0 Skill Begin battle with your NP charged at 60% Max Limit Break: Begin battle with your NP charged at 75%

This is basically the same as The Imaginary Element, which has the following stats and effects:
ATK 200 (MAX: 750) HP 300 (MAX: 1125) Skill Begin battle with your NP charged at 60% Max Limit Break: Begin battle with your NP charged at 75%
So it looks like Winter Crystal is just the better version of The Imaginary Element for DPS since it doesn't have mixed stats.
Interested in getting this too since starting NP gauge charge is always useful. So it's in for now.
Guardians of the Garden vs Winter Crystal
Narrowed my choices down to 2 Craft Essences - Guardians of the Garden and Winter Crystal. But which one should I get with the ticket? Both seem good. Don't have a copy of either yet.
I use my MLB The Imaginary Element pretty often so the same could probably be said for Winter Crystal, especially once I manage to fully MLB it.

In contrast to that, hardly ever use Divine Banquet. Its effect is good but the fact that it doesn't have starting NP gauge charge really hurts it.

So more often than not, when I do need NP Gain up, I just go with CEs that have that and starting NP gauge charge even if the NP Gain up effect on said CE isn't as good as in Divine Banquet.
In the end, I suppose it doesn't really matter which of these 2 I pick since neither are limited anyway. Hopefully, both will eventually show up on a banner I roll on.
Winter Crystal
After thinking about it some more, decided to go with Winter Crystal.
Went to the exchange shop then tapped on the Winter Crystal Craft Essence pic. After doing that, a box with the words “After the exchange, it will be sent to the Present Box.” appeared.

Tapped on the “Exchange” button on that box. This prompted another box to show up. This one has the following text:
20 Million Downloads Campaign Limited You can exchange for 1 out of the 47 available 4-star SR Craft Essences. Once exchanged, you cannot switch your selection. Exchange for “Winter Crystal”?

After tapping on the “Exchange” button, another box showed up. This one said:
“Winter Crystal x1” has been sent to your Present Box.

After tapping the “Close” button, went to check my Present Box. Sure enough, Winter Crystal was indeed there.

Tapped on the Craft Essence in question to claim it. Here are some more pics:

Hopefully, I can get more dupes of Winter Crystal so I can eventually fully MLB it. Also hoping to get copies of Guardians of the Garden and even the other CEs that I don't have yet.
Conclusion
So, what about you? Which 4-star SR Craft Essence did you get with the 20 Mil DL Celebration Ticket (Craft Essence)? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging this post.

Fate/Grand Order 20 Million Downloads Campaign Free 4-star Servant Ticket Select
The 20 Million Downloads Campaign just started in the Fate/Grand Order (FGO) mobile game. As part of this campaign, each player will get a 20 Mil DL Celebration Ticket (Servant), which can be used to exchange for one of 68 eligible 4-star SR Servants.

There's a lot of Servants to choose from so not sure who to pick yet. But need to make a decision as soon as possible because the aforementioned ticket will expire soon.

So let's take a closer look at these eligible 4-star SR Servants:
Saber Altria Pendragon Alter
Saber Artoria or Altria Pendragon Alter (#ad) or SAlter is a story-locked Servant. Basically, this means that she and other story-locked Servants will only be added to the Story Summon Banner depending on your current progress in the main story.
In SAlter's case, she'll be added to the Story Summon Banner after Singularity F: Flame Contaminated City, Fuyuki is cleared.

Aside from the Story Summon Banner, story-locked Servants can only be summoned on banners where they are specifically featured so there's no way for them to "spook" you in other banners.
Anyway, don't have Saber Alter, but I heard she becomes really good later on once she gets an upgrade or buff to one of her skills so all that plus the fact that she's story-locked means she's in for now.
Saber Gawain
Gawain is story-locked too, but I already have him. In fact, currently have him at Noble Phantasm Level 4 or NP4, so it's actually tempting to get him with this ticket so I can finally get him to NP5.

But I think I prefer to get a new Servant with this ticket. Besides, sadly, much as I like Gawain, don't really get to use him that much. Getting him to NP5 won't make me use him more so he's out.
Saber Siegfried
Already have a copy of Siegfried so he's out.
Saber Chevalier d'Eon
Already have a copy of Chevalier d'Eon so he's out.
Saber Suzuka Gozen
My Suzuka Gozen is currently NP2 so she's out.
Saber Diarmuid Ua Duibhne
Don't have a copy of Saber Diarmuid Ua Duibhne yet. But he's not story-locked so there's a chance for him to show up on any banner you roll on.
Not really all that interested in him though. He's a Saber with a single-target NP but I already have Servants like that. On top of that, he's a Quick-based Servant. Sadly, don't have even a single copy of 5-star SSR Caster Scáthach-Skaði or Skadi, the premier support for Quick-based Servants. So Diarmuid's out.
Saber Nero Claudius
Already have a copy of Nero Claudius so she's out.
Saber Tam Lin Gawain or Barghest
My Tam Lin Gawain or Barghest is currently NP3. While I'd like to increase her NP level some more, don't want to do so via this ticket so she's out.
Saber Yagyu Tajima-no-kami Munenori
Already have a copy of Yagyu Tajima-no-kami Munenori so he's out.
Saber Rama
Already have a copy of Rama so he's out.
Saber Lakshmi Bai
Already have a copy of Lakshmi Bai so she's out.
Saber Lancelot
My Saber Lancelot or SaberLot is way past NP5 by now so he's definitely out.

Saber Lanling Wang or Prince of Lan Ling
Don't have a copy of Lanling Wang yet. He's not story-locked. He seems to be a pretty good support. He can charge the NP gauge of an ally by up to 20%, and he can also increase the effectiveness of the party's Arts cards. Hmm, I guess he's in for now.
Saber Watanabe-no-Tsuna
Don't have a copy of Watanabe-no-Tsuna yet. He's not story-locked, and not really all that interested in him. He's a Saber with a single-target Buster-type NP, but if I need a ST NP Saber, can just go with Lancelot so Watanabe-no-Tsuna's out.
Archer Aśvatthāman or Asvatthaman or Ashwatthama
Don't have a copy of Archer Aśvatthāman or Asvatthaman or Ashwatthama yet. He's story-locked. Not really all that interested in him. He's a Archer with a single-target Buster-type NP but already have lots of other Archers who can fill that role. So he's out.
Archer Atalante
Already have Archer Atalante so she's out.
Archer Emiya
Already have Archer Emiya so he's out.
Archer Emiya Alter
My Archer Emiya Alter or DEmiya is already NP3. He's usually my go-to whenever I need a single-target Archer so wouldn't mind increasing his NP level some more but don't want to do so via this ticket so he's out.

Archer Chiron
Don't have a copy of Chiron yet. He isn't story-locked. He's a support who can also deal damage but - I don't know. He doesn't seem all that good to me. He can increase the effectiveness of one ally's Buster, Arts, and Quick cards but he can't charge their NP gauge.
Sure, he'd be nice to have, but don't want to use the ticket to get him so he's out.
Archer Zenobia
Don't have a copy of Zenobia yet but she's not story-locked, and as mentioned, already have lots of other Archers so would rather not use this ticket to get yet another Archer. In short, Zenobia's out.
Archer Tomoe Gozen
Already have a copy of Tomoe Gozen so she's out.
Archer Tristan
My Tristan is already NP5 so he's out.

Archer Tam Lin Tristan or Baobhan Sith
Already have a copy of Tam Lin Tristan or Baobhan Sith so she's out.
Lancer Altria Pendragon Alter
My Lancer Artoria or Altria Pendragon Alter or LAlter is already NP3 so she's out.
Lacer Vlad III (EXTRA)
Don't have a copy of Lacer Vlad III (EXTRA) but he's not story-locked and not really interested in him so he's out.
Lancer Elisabeth Báthory
My Lancer Liz is like NP2 already so she's out.
Lancer Caenis
Already have a copy of Caenis so they're out.
Lancer Qin Liangyu
Already have a copy of Qin Liangyu so she's out.
Lancer Nezha
Already have a copy of Nezha so they're out.
Lancer Percival
My Percival is NP3. He's not story-locked but I use him - maybe not that often or regularly enough but still way more than I use other chars like Nezha (who I actually don't use at all) so it's tempting to try to increase his NP levels some more. But really shouldn't do that via this ticket so Percival's out.

Lancer Parvati
My Parvati is like NP3 by now so she's out.
Edit: welp, just checked and, apparently, my Parvati is actually NP4 by now. LOL.

Lancer Fionn mac Cumhaill
Don't have a copy of Fionn mac Cumhaill but he's not story-locked and his role overlaps with Percival since both have a Arts-type AoE NP.
And aside from Percival, also have NP2 4-star SR Lancer Mysterious Alter Ego Λ or Mysterious Alter Ego Lambda or Lambdaryllis or Lancer Meltryllis who also has a Arts-type AoE NP. So don't think I'll have much use for Fionn right now, especially not at NP1. So he's out.
Lancer Medusa
Already have Lancer Medusa so she's out.
Lancer Li Shuwen
Don't have a copy of Li Shuwen. He's story-locked, and he seems to be a pretty good Lancer with a single-target Arts-type NP so he's in for now.

Lancer Valkyrie
Don't have a copy of Valkyrie. They're not story-locked, and don't think I really need them, but I do like their appearance so I think they should be in for now.
Rider Astolfo
Already have a copy of Rider Astolfo so he's out.
Rider Anne Bonny & Mary Read
Already have a copy of Anne Bonny & Mary Read so they're out.
Rider Dobrynya Nikitich
Don't have a copy of Dobrynya Nikitich yet but she's not story-locked and not really interested in her so she's out.
Rider Marie Antoinette
Already have a copy of Marie Antoinette so she's out.
Rider Martha
Already have a copy of Rider Martha so she's out.
Caster Helena Blavatsky
Don't have a copy of Helena Blavatsky but she's not story-locked and not really interested in her so she's out.
Caster Gilgamesh
My Caster Gilgamesh or CasGil is already NP5 so he's out.

Caster Circe
Already have a copy of Circe so she's out.
Caster of Midrash or Queen of Sheba
Already have a copy of Caster of Midrash or Queen of Sheba so she's out.
Caster Thomas Edison
Don't have a copy of Thomas Edison yet. He's story-locked but not really interested in him so he's out.
Caster Nursery Rhyme
Already have a copy of Nursery Rhyme so she's out.
Caster Nitocris
Already have a copy of Nitocris so she's out.
Caster Medea Lily
Don't have a copy of Medea Lily yet. She's story-locked but she doesn't seem that good or useful. She's a healer and she can remove the party's debuffs but that's basically all she does.
Already have other chars who can do those things while also being able to provide other buffs or boosts. For instance, 5-star SSR Caster Merlin can heal but he can also boost the party's attack and increase their NP gauge, among other things. So Medea Lily's out.
Assassin Emiya or Emiya Kiritsugu
Already have a copy of Emiya Kiritsugu so he's out.
Assassin Yan Qing
Already have a copy of Yan Qing so he's out.
Assassin Carmilla
Already have a copy of Carmilla so she's out.
Assassin Katou "Black Kite" Danzo
Don't have a copy of Katou Danzo. She's story-locked, but not really interested in her so she's out.
Assassin Yu Mei-ren
Don't have a copy of Yu Mei-ren. She's story-locked, but not really interested in her so she's out.
Assassin Stheno
Already have a copy of Stheno so she's out.
Assassin of the Nightless City or Wu Zetian
Already have a copy of Wu Zetian so she's out.
Assassin of Paraiso or Mochizuki Chiyome
Don't have a copy of Mochizuki Chiyome. She's not story-locked and not really interested in her so she's out.
Berserker Atalante Alter
Already have a copy of Atalante Alter so she's out.
Berserker Ibaraki-Douji
Already have a copy of Ibaraki-Douji so she's out.
Berserker Tamamo Cat
Already have a copy of Tamamo Cat so she's out.
Berserker Frankenstein
Already have a copy of Frankenstein or Fran so she's out.
Berserker Beowulf
Already have a copy of Beowulf so he's out.
Berserker Heracles
Already have a copy of Heracles so he's out.
Berserker of El Dorado or Penthesilea
Already have a copy of Penthesilea so she's out.
Berserker Lancelot
Don't have a copy of Berserker Lancelot or BerserkerLot. He's not story-locked and not really interested in him. Plus, already have his Saber version so he's out.
Ruler Astraea
My Astraea is NP1. Like Percival, I use her often enough that it's tempting to increase her NP level some more but really shouldn't do it via this ticket so she's out.

Avenger Gorgon
Don't have a copy of Gorgon. She's story-locked. Not really interested in her so she's out.
Avenger of Shinjuku or Hessian Lobo
Already have a copy of Hessian Lobo so he's out.
Pretender Hephaestion or Hephaistion
Don't have a copy of Hephaistion. She's not story-locked. She seems like a pretty good DPS with a single-target Arts-type NP who can charge her NP gauge by 100%+. So she's in for now.
And that's it. That's all of the eligible 4-star SR Servants. So far, managed to narrow my choices down to the following:
Saber Altria Pendragon Alter
Saber Lanling Wang
Lancer Li Shuwen
Lancer Valkyrie
Pretender Hephaestion
Now to try and narrow that down some more.
Lanling Wang
Lanling Wang may be a pretty decent support but I do already have lots of other supports. Plus he's not story-locked so it's possible for him to spook me on any banner I decide to roll on. So he's out.

Li Shuwen
Li Shuwen may be a pretty good Lancer DPS but I do already have lots of other Lancers. For instance, I have 4-star SR Nagao Kagetora at NP5. She also has a single-target Arts-type NP like Li Shuwen.

Also have NP2 5-star SSR Lancer Tam Lin Lancelot or Melusine or Mélusine. She has both a single-target Arts-type NP and a AoE Buster-type NP.
Don't think a NP1 Li Shuwen will be able to deal more damage compared to those 2 so he's out.
Valkyrie
Having Valkyrie is like having 3 Servants in 1 since there's 3 of them, one for each Ascension. Their names are Ortlinde, Hildr, and Thrúd.
The black-haired Valkyrie is Ortlinde. The pink-haired one is Hildr. And the blonde-haired one is Thrúd.

Like I said, I do like Valkyrie so it's too bad that I never got even a single copy of them.
But I'm not sure about using the 20 Mil DL Celebration Ticket (Servant) to get them. Aside from the fact that they're not story-locked, they're also unfortunately Quick-based.
They are pretty good. And, to be fair, I used Parvati a lot before even without my own Skadi. But that was a long time ago. Now I have Lancers like Melusine so it feels like there's no place for Valkyrie, especially since I don't have my own Skadi and they'll be stuck at NP1 if I get them with the ticket.
Sure, I do like them, and I don't have a copy of them yet but, I think I prefer to get a Servant who I don't have and who I'll actually be able to use even if it's not all that often. So Valkyrie's out.
That leaves me with SAlter and Hephaestion. Now to try choosing between the 2 of them. Let's see.
Altria Pendragon Alter vs Hephaestion
Saber Alter is story-locked but Hephaestion isn't. So there's a chance for me to get Hephaestion on any banner. But that doesn't necessarily mean that will actually happen though. Case in point being the fact that I'm still missing a lot of Servants who aren't story-locked.
Hephaestion is a Pretender with a single-target Arts-type NP. As a Pretender, she's strong against Sabers, Lancers, Archers, and Alter Egos. She also has a skill that gives her advantage over Casters.

Altria Pendragon Alter is a Saber with a AoE Buster-type NP. As a Saber, she's strong against Lancers.

Both seem useful and pretty good at what they do but I do already have other Servants who can do what they do. For instance, if I need a ST Saber to deal with a Lancer, I can just bring in SaberLot. So it's not like I really need SAlter and Hephaestion.
On the other hand, the fact that Hephaestion can get over 100% NP gauge charge can be really helpful when it comes to getting her to loop her NP.

In contrast to that, Saber Lancelot only has 30% NP gauge charge with an additional 20% since I maxed out his Mana Loading Append.
With Saber Alter's future buff, it looks like she'll be able to 3-turn loop her NP with double Koyan + a 50% NP gauge charger and with The Black Grail Craft Essence (CE).

Koyan or Koyanskaya of Light is a 5-star SSR Assassin who is one of the premier supports for Buster-based Servants.
Found this video of a NP1 SAlter looping with The Black Grail CE that isn't fully MLB, double Koyan, and a 5-star SSR Caster Zhuge Liang (Lord El-Melloi II) or Waver Velvet. She also doesn't have her Mana Loading Append unlocked.
youtube
I do have my own Koyanskaya of Light as well as my own Waver. Even have 5-star SSR Pretender Oberon who is also another premier support. Also have a fully MLB copy of The Black Grail CE.
So now I'm kinda leaning towards picking Saber Alter. Yeah, she's not that good right now, but in the future, once she gets her buff, she will be, and at least it looks like she'll be able to work just fine even at NP1.
Don't know if the same can be said for a NP1 Hephaestion, especially compared to the Servants I already have at higher NPs. Like SaberLot may not have 100% NP gauge charge but at least he's NP5 and with the proper supports and buffs and such, he's able to deal pretty good damage.
Also, I actually have SAlter's Spiritron Dress, so if I pick her, I can unlock her costume. Too bad Hephaestion doesn't have a costume.
Took another look at Saber Alter's and Hephaestion's Ascensions and - don't like the mask thing in SAlter's 1st Ascension. Her 2nd and 3rd Ascension and even her final Ascension look fine, and her costume looks pretty nice too.

On the other hand, Hephaestion's 1st and 2nd Ascension look okay enough but don't really like her 3rd and final Ascension.

And yeah, there's no guarantee that Hephaestion will eventually spook me but since she's not story-locked, there's always a chance of her showing up whenever I roll on a banner regardless of how small that chance may be.
But Saber Alter will never spook me unless I specifically roll on the Story Summon banner, which is not recommended since there's no one on rate-up there, or on a banner where she's featured.
Saber Altria Pendragon Alter
After thinking about it some more, decided to go with Saber Altria Pendragon Alter.
Went to the exchange shop then tapped on SAlter's pic. After doing that, a box with the words "After the exchange, it will be sent to the Present Box." appeared.

Tapped on the "Exchange" button on that box. This prompted another box to show up. This one has the following text:
20 Million Downloads Campaign Limited You can exchange for 1 out of the 68 available 4-star SR Servants. Once exchanged, you cannot switch your selection. Exchange for "Altria Pendragon (Alter) (Saber)"?

After tapping on the "Exchange" button, another box showed up. This one said:
"Altria Pendragon (Alter) (Saber) x1" has been sent to your Present Box.

After tapping the "Close" button, went to check my Present Box. Sure enough, Saber Alter was indeed there.

Tapped on her portrait to get her. Her summon lines then started playing. Here are some pics:

Afterwards, got the info that I also just received 50 of Saber Alter's Servant Coins.

Sadly, that's not enough to unlock even one of her Appends.
Anyway, will level her up later on. After all, there's no rush since there's no need to do anything else to make her permanent.
Conclusion
So, what about you? Which 4-star SR Servant did you get with the 20 Mil DL Celebration Ticket (Servant)? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging this post.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Dare to Defy -The Battles’ End- Quests List
The final Dare to Defy event, Dare to Defy -The Battles’ End-, just started in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game. This is a global original event that features 21 Shinryu (level 300) or higher quests.
Sadly, the reason why this is the final or last Dare to Defy event is because DFFOO just announced that it will discontinue or end its service on February 29, 2024.
The end of service announcement news came as a shock. I talk more about that in another post, but I really wish the news wasn’t true. Wish the game wasn’t ending at all.
Dare to Defy -The Battles’ End- Information
According to the in-game news:
This final challenge features up to 21 quests and contains the bosses featured in Shinryu difficulty (or higher) quests from past story chapters and events as well as new Shinryu bosses, and requires Perfect clears with character restrictions!
Dare to Defy -The Battles’ End- is divided into 3 sets of 7 quests - Dare to Defy Astraeus, Dare to Defy Nyx, and Dare to Defy Eos.
But the character restrictions applies across all the quests. This means that if you use a char on 1 Dare to Defy quest, then you can’t use them anymore on the other fights in this event.
You can’t bring a friend support to these fights. Each quest needs to be Perfected (meaning get the score and all the other mission requirements on the same run) in order to get all the rewards.
All the chars are boosted in this event so each quest starts with the force gauge already charged to 50%.
Dare to Defy -The Battles’ End- Plans
Since these are the last sets of Dare to Defy quests that we will ever have, wanted to use 3 chars for each fight instead of trying to solo or duo some of these quests. This would let me use 21 of my fully built and maxed out chars.
Aside from that, I also wanted to use all of my fully built and maxed out Final Fantasy VII (#ad) chars on at least 1 Dare to Defy quest. By this, I mean the ones who have their Force or FR and Burst or BT weapons as well as their Force Boards and Force Echoes.
Thankfully, was able to do that. Been able to use 3 chars on all the Dare to Defy quests I’ve cleared and some of those chars were from FF7.
Dare to Defy -The Battles’ End- Quests List
By now, was able to complete or clear all 21 of the quests in the Dare to Defy -The Battles’ End- event to Perfect.
By the time I finished the last Dare to Defy fight, there were only 2 or so days left before Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia was gonna end forever.
Glad I was able to finish all of the Dare to Defy -The Battles’ End- quests before the end. Also glad I didn’t have to repeat any fight to free up a locked char.
And glad that I was able to use all of my fully built and maxed out Final Fantasy VII chars on at least 1 Dare to Defy fight.
Anyway, I talk more about each of these 21 Dare to Defy quests in other posts but below is a list of the fights I cleared as well as the chars I brought to said fights.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Sephiroth Information and Relics List Part 4
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII (#ad) is one of the playable chars in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game.
He’s one of the chars who I have fully built and maxed out in this game. He’s also one of the chars who I always try to use or bring to quests.
Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia End of Service Announcement News
Sadly and unfortunately, Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia just announced that it will discontinue or end its service on February 29, 2024.
The end of service announcement news came as a shock. I talk more about that in another post, but I really wish the news wasn’t true. Wish the game wasn’t ending at all.
But since DFFOO is unfortunately ending soon, started taking lots of in-game screenshots for the memories.
Was able to take lots of DFFOO Sephiroth screenshots so this post is all about that.
This is a continuation of other posts because the others already reached the max limit of 30 pics per post.
Player or User Data in Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia
My DFFOO ID is 699770748. My current Rank is 1576.
My current in-game name is set as Genesis. This is meant to refer to Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Currently, Genesis is my absolute, most favorite Final Fantasy char.
Been hoping for him to be added as a playable char here in DFFOO for what feels like forever now.
So when I heard that Angeal Hewley from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII just got added as the latest playable char in the Japanese version of the game, I thought this greatly increased the chances that Genesis would soon become a playable char here as well.
Suddenly, the idea of Genesis being in Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia didn’t seem like such an impossible dream anymore. Unfortunately, now that dream is dead. Won’t even get to try out Angeal since he and a few other chars and upgrades never made it to the Global version of the game. Sigh.
Anyway, can’t remember now if “Genesis” had always been my in-game name. I think back when I first started playing DFFOO, it might have been “Cloud”. But pretty sure once I set my in-game name to “Genesis”, never changed it anymore, and it’s been like that ever since.
My current support is set as Sephiroth. It’s been Sephiroth for a long time now. Whenever we get a mission that wants us to change our friend support, I would briefly switch to a different char before switching right back to Sephiroth again.
Sephiroth wasn’t always my support though. At one point, my support had been set as Quistis Trepe from Final Fantasy VIII. But this was forever ago, way back when we first got the Summon Boards for chars and way back when Quistis was really useful for farming said Boards.
I know I switched my support a few more times before finally settling for Sephiroth but it’s been so long now that I can’t recall anymore who else I used to set as my support.
My in-game message is currently set as: “ore mo eiyuu ni narunda”. Genesis says this line in Crisis Core. Its translation is: “I, too, would like to be a hero”.
youtube
Pretty sure my in-game message hadn’t always been that line but it’s been so long since I changed this that I can’t remember anymore what it used to be.
As for my current status or badge, IIRC, the one I currently have set was the one we got for clearing the last Dare to Defy event. I usually change my status or badge whenever we get a new one from clearing content. Sometimes, I might also change it to one of the ones that can be obtained from the badge shop.
Anyway, the pic above shows that I only have 60 gems. It's so strange to see that since I used to have over a million gems as can be seen in the screenshot below.
IIRC, this was taken soon after DFFOO gave its end of service announcement so there's still a few gems that I had yet to collect like the ones from my gift box.
Since there was no longer any reason to save gems, I started spending them by pulling on the remaining available banners and exchanging them for resources that I needed such as to max out the rest of my chars.
Eventually, I was down to 760 gems. A multi-draw on a banner costs 5000 gems while a single draw or pull costs 500 gems.
So I did a single pull which brought my gem count down to 260.
I talk more about this in another post but I ended up spending 200 of those gems to refresh my bells in the Dusk to Dawn co-op event.
DFFOO players have a total of 5 co-op bells. Each time you host a co-op, you need to spend 1 bell. These bells will regenerate over time. IIRC, it takes about 2 hours for 1 bell to regenerate.
I wanted to host the co-op quest so I can solo it and take more screenshots so I spent the gems needed to regenerate my bells. It costs 100 gems to regenerate 5 bells.
After spending 200 gems on the co-op bells, I'm now left with 60. Unfortunately, can't get anything with 60 gems so have no choice but to just leave it in my inventory until the end.
Dusk to Dawn Co-Op Event
Dusk to Dawn is the last co-op event in DFFOO. This event consists of 3 sets of different quests.
Below is a pic of the Soul Caged by Dawn Shinryu quest co-op Party screen.
I’ve opted to solo this co-op so all the chars shown are from my party. These chars are Sephiroth, Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, and Weiss the Immaculate from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII.
Below are some screenshots of Sephiroth from the co-op fight itself:
This pic shows Sephiroth during the Bahamut summon. His team mates are Weiss the Immaculate and Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII.
It's currently Sephiroth's turn.
There's only 1 turn of force time left and the HP damage bonus is currently at 999%.
These pics also show Sephiroth during the Bahamut summon but this time, his team mates are Kadaj and Aerith.
In the above pic, the enemies are down to 25% and 30% HP while in the pic below, there's only one enemy left, and it's down to 9% HP.
This pic shows Sephiroth during the Bahamut summon with Kadaj and Weiss as his team mates.
In this pic, there's only one enemy left, and it's down to 12% HP. Weiss's, Kadaj's, and Sephiroth's Burst+ effects are currently active. Sephiroth's Additional Ability and Kadaj's Force ability are also currently active.
This pic shows Sephiroth during his Burst+ mode. He's already used Scintilla and Black Materia but he still has 1 use each of Fervent Blow and Octaslash.
He has 2 turns of his Burst+ phase time left. There's only 1 enemy left on the field, and said enemy is basically dead already since it only has 1% HP left.
This pic also shows Sephiroth during his Burst+ mode. This time, he only has 1 turn of Burst+ time left, and he's about to cast Heaven's Light, his finishing Burst+ move.
And that’s it. That's all of the Sephiroth screenshots that I was able to take before DFFOO ended forever. Too bad I wasn't able to take more pics. Still wish the game didn't have to end. Sigh.
Conclusion
So what about you? What do you think about the news that DFFOO is ending its service on February 29, 2024? Did you pull for Sephiroth? What do you think about him in this game? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Sephiroth Information and Relics List Part 3
Wanted to take screenshots of lots of other chars too like Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII and Zack Fair from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII but sadly, only managed to take a few more screenshots of some of these chars before DFFOO ended.
This is a continuation of another post because the first already reached the max limit of 30 pics per post.
Loading or Connecting Images
Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia has a lot of loading or connecting images. These pics show up when trying to connect to the game or when going to different sections of the game such as going to the party screen.
One of these loading or connecting pics features Sephiroth. This image also includes Zack and Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII.
In this pic, Sephiroth is holding his katana in one hand, his wing is visible, and he's wearing his Soldier outfit. He's standing in front of some stairs.
Zack and Cloud are below the stairs. Both are facing Sephiroth, and both are holding on to their weapons.
The loading or connecting pics in DFFOO include some text on the lower left corner of the screen. This contains tips and information about the game.
When DFFOO gave its end of service announcement, the game was updated so that now the loading and connecting images also contain some trivia alongside the usual info.
This Sephiroth, Zack, and Cloud pic includes the following text info:
Command abilities can be boosted by various passives from gear, crystal strength, and enhancement boards, kupo!
Speaking of kupo, there's a small Mog icon next to the text in these pics, indicating that Mog is the one saying these things.
Sephiroth's Ex Weapon
Mako Katana (VII) is the name of Sephiroth’s Ex weapon. The Affinity Ability of this weapon is called Black Destructive Power. This weapon gives Sephiroth his Ex ability called Black Materia. Its recast speed is Slow.
After fully max limit breaking and leveling up Mako Katana, you need to spend a Book and then 3 Ingots to further upgrade said weapon. This will turn it Purple or get it to Ex+ 3/3.
Below is a screenshot of one of the screens that will show up when you Purple or Ex+ 3/3 Mako Katana.
This screen contains a textbox with the following words:
Effect Unlocked Passive: Black Materia Extension Attack Up While equipping Ex+ weapon Mako Katana (VII)+ or passive ability Black Materia Extension: -Largely raises own ATK
Sephiroth Battle Screenshots
The pics below all feature Sephiroth in battle.
This pic shows Sephiroth in the process of casting Heaven's Light, his finishing Burst+ move.
This shot shows him with his katana and wing outstretched while he's facing the screen. He's equipped with his Extra Costume 1.
The 3 real A Spheres that Sephiroth is equipped with are also visible in this pic, indicating that they've just been triggered. These Spheres are: Breaking Power, Debuff Power, and Critical Power.
Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is also visible in this pic.
Weiss the Immaculate from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII is the third char in this party although only his icons or char portraits are visible in this pic. Well, you can also see part of his sword and one of his hands near the edge of the pic. LOL.
The screenshot below shows Sephiroth casting Heaven's Light too although in this one, he's much closer to the screen. There is also a black feather in front of him.
This is from the same co-op quest as before so Sephiroth is up against the same enemies, and Kadaj and Weiss are still part of the party although neither are visible in this screenshot aside from their icons.
The pic below is very similar to the one above. In this one, Sephiroth is also in the process of casting Heaven's Light. He's very close to the screen, and he's holding his katana in his left hand. His black wing is visible, and there is a black feather in front of him.
The screenshots below are pretty similar to the ones above. It's the same co-op fight against the 2 trees. This is actually the last co-op event that was available until the game ended on February 29,2024.
This time, Sephiroth's team mates are Kadaj and Aerith. One of the pics also shows Aerith wearing her long red dress.
The pic below is from the same co-op, but it was taken during the summon. Here, both Sephiroth and Aerith are visible.
IIRC, Sephiroth is either about to cast his Ex ability or his Force Echo in this pic. He's facing the screen with his katana in his left hand.
Above his head, the buffs he has are visible. He has 3 icons below, near his leg. These indicate that his Additional Ability, Burst+ effect, and Force ability are all currently active.
The pic below is basically the same as the one above except this time, the one next to Sephiroth is Kadaj.
Sephiroth has 6 buffs above his head in the previous pic. In this one, he only has 5. And in this one, there are only 2 icons near his leg, the ones for his Additional Ability and Burst+ effect.
The pic below is basically the same as the one above with some very minor differences in terms of currently active buffs and their remaining turns and such.
The pic below shows Sephiroth in the process of casting Black Materia, his Ex ability.
The pic below shows Sephiroth, Aerith, and Kadaj. This was taken soon after the end of a co-op quest. Once a battle ends, chars will pose on a screen before the results of the fight (like items dropped, score, etc) will show up.
In this pic, Sephiroth is facing away from the screen so you can't see his face. He's holding his katana in his left hand.
The pic below is basically the same as the one above except this time, Sephiroth's team mates are Kadaj and Weiss.
In the pic below, both Kadaj and Sephiroth can be seen. This is a screenshot of Kadaj in the process of casting Geodegradation, his Burst+ finisher.
Part of the animation of this move includes Sephiroth showing up behind Kadaj.
In this pic, Sephiroth currently has his katana. Kadaj is carrying his weapon as well.
The pic below is a continuation of the above pic. This is another shot of Kadaj casting his Burst+ finisher. Sephiroth is also visible in this pic.
He and Kadaj are facing the enemies with their weapons pointed at said enemies.
The pic below shows Sephiroth in the process of casting Black Conflict, his Force ability. He's facing the screen while holding his katana in his left hand.
There is some text above Sephiroth, which says:
By my hand, this world shall be...
This pic shows Sephiroth in the process of casting Heaven's Light. He's in his Extra Costume 1, his wing is out, and he's holding his katana in his left hand. He's starting to float or fly upwards.
Kadaj is visible in this pic too as one of Sephiroth’s allies. He’s standing to the side with his weapon in his left hand. One of Weiss’s hands and one of his swords can be seen further away.
Daily Login Rewards Screen
Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia gives daily rewards or login bonuses each day that you log in to the game.
When the game gave its end of service announcement, it also made some changes to the daily login rewards such as giving 100 Power Stones on Day 1. The gems we normally get were also removed.
The pics above and below show these new login bonuses. These were taken on February 28, 2024. This is the last login before the game ended on February 29, 2024.
The daily login bonuses will automatically show up the 1st time that you log in to the game each day.
Behind the login bonuses, you can see a bit of the homepage or main or start screen of the game.
In the pics above, the legs of 3 chars can be seen: Sephiroth’s, Weiss’s, and Aerith’s.
Daily Support Bonus Screen
The pic below shows up after tapping the next button on both of the daily login bonuses screens. This one is the support bonus screen. You get some gil every time the char you set as a support is used by other players.
This pic also shows the legs of Sephiroth, Weiss, and Aerith. Raijin from Final Fantasy VIII can also be seen here.
Party and Allies Screen
The screenshot below shows the Party and Allies screen. In DFFOO, you can have up to 10 parties saved.
This pic shows Party 8/10. The chars in this party are Sephiroth, Kadaj, and Weiss the Immaculate.
All 3 are equipped with Level 5 of 5 Ultima Weapons (Greatsword for Sephiroth, Special or Unique for Kadaj, and Sword for Weiss). All 3 are equipped with their maxed out or Blued High Armors.
All of their Character Enhancement Boards and Summon Boards have been fully Mastered as can be seen via the M/M letters. The 50 on the blue circle indicates that their Force Enhancements have been leveled up to 50.
They also have 3 Crystal Passives equipped (indicated by the red circle for Kadaj, the blue circle for Weiss, and the green circle for Sephiroth).
The summon equipped for this party is Bahamut. His Blessing is “Reduces all enemies’ ATK by 15%; additional 50% party Break Bonus with every Break (max 200%)”.
Already completed the Crystal Room by now so have the max of 40 Crystal Points.
Since everyone has Force Enhancements Level 50/50, the Prolonged HP Damage Bonus is set to +45%.
Sephiroth is equipped with Rydia’s (from Final Fantasy IV) Call Ability. Kadaj is equipped with Seymour Guado’s (from Final Fantasy X) Call Ability. Weiss is equipped with Cid Raines’s (from Final Fantasy XIII) Call Ability.
The right side of this pic shows 3 tabs: Allies, Call, and Summons.
In the Global or English version of DFFOO, there are a total of 175 playable chars.
The Allies tab of this pic shows the following chars:
Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII
Vincent Valentine from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII
Aerith
Sephiroth
Reno from Final Fantasy VII
Kadaj
Zack
Weiss
Quistis Trepe from Final Fantasy VIII
They’re all equipped with maxed out Ultima Weapons which is denoted by the green-blue background of their character portraits or icons.
The pic below is basically the same as the one above but now Sephiroth has Raines’s Call while Weiss has Rydia’s. Kadaj still has Seymour’s Call Ability.
And the right side of the pic now includes Cissnei from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII instead of Quistis.
Training Boards
Below is a screenshot of Zack’s Training Boards. To be more precise, this one shows the status of all of his Summon Boards.
The right side of this pic shows the following Final Fantasy VII chars:
Vincent
Aerith
Jessie Rasberry
Sephiroth
Reno
Kadaj
Zack
Cissnei
Weiss
Sephiroth’s pic shows his weapon type (greatsword), Crystal Color (green), and level (90). The M/M means that all of his Summon Boards and Character Enhancement Boards have been fully completed or mastered. The FR means that his Force Boards are available. The P1 means that he's currently in slot 1 of a party.
At one point, my support had been set as Quistis. This was forever ago though, way back when we first got the Summon Boards for chars and way back when Quistis was really useful for farming said Boards.
And that’s it for now. There’s a few more screenshots but have to continue in another post because already nearing the max limit of 30 pics per post in this one.
Conclusion

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Zack Fair, Kadaj, and Weiss the Immaculate Information and Relics List Part 3
The playable chars in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game include Zack Fair from Final Fantasy VII (#ad) and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, and Weiss the Immaculate from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII.
Zack, Kadaj, and Weiss are some of the chars who I have fully built and maxed out in this game.

But since DFFOO is unfortunately ending soon, started taking lots of in-game screenshots for the memories.
Unfortunately, wasn’t able to take as many Zack, Kadaj, and Weiss screenshots as I wanted before the game ended, which is why I just put them all in the same post.
This is a continuation of other posts because the others already reached the max limit of 30 pics per post.
Battle Screenshots
The pics below all feature Weiss and Kadaj in battle. Sadly, wasn't able to take any pics of Zack in battle before the game ended.
This pic shows Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII in the process of casting Heaven's Light, his finishing Burst+ move.
Kadaj is visible in this pic too as one of Sephiroth's allies. He's standing to the side with his weapon in his left hand. One of Weiss's hands and one of his swords can be seen further away.
This pic is similar to the one above. In the above pic, Sephiroth is shown starting to float but in this pic, he's still on the ground. Kadaj is basically in the same position as he was in the above pic, and part of Weiss is also still visible in this pic.
This pic shows shows Weiss in the process of casting his Ex ability, Bullets of Ruin. He's facing the screen, one sword in each hand.
Too bad I forgot to turn off the feature that lists each char's passives and such activating and which shows up on the upper left part of the screen. So in the pic above, some text is blocking part of Weiss.
The pic below shows Kadaj in the process of casting his Force ability, Geotomy.
In this pic, Kadaj is facing the screen while holding his weapon in one hand. There is a textbox near the top of the screen that says:
Show me your true power.
The pic below shows Weiss in the process of casting his Force ability, Black White Emulsion.
In this pic, Weiss is facing the screen while holding one weapon in each hand. There is a textbox near the top of the screen that says:
Indulge me.
This pic also shows one of Weiss's A Spheres, Breaking Power, activating.
He's holding his weapon in one hand, and it's pointed towards the screen.
The textbox near the top of the screen says "Divinity". Once again, text from Kadaj's passives and such activating is sadly blocking part of the screen.
This pic shows both Sephiroth and Kadaj. Sephiroth is facing the screen with his katana in his left hand. Kadaj is standing to the side, holding his own weapon in his left hand.
Both of them have 2 icons below them. Kadaj's icons indicate that the effects of his Burst+ move and Force ability are both currently active. Sephiroth's icons indicate that his Additional Ability and his Bust+ effect are currently active.
The pic below is basically the same as the one above with some very minor differences in terms of currently active buffs and their remaining turns and such.
This pic shows both Weiss and Kadaj standing next to each other. This is them posing at the end of a battle. Sephiroth is in this pic too but you can only see part of his boots since the Results tab is blocking the rest of the view of him.
The pic below shows Sephiroth, Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII, and Kadaj. This was taken soon after the end of a co-op quest. Once a battle ends, chars will pose on a screen before the results of the fight (like items dropped, score, etc) will show up.
The pic below is basically the same as the one above except this time the chars who are posing at the end of a fight are Sephiroth, Kadaj, and Weiss.
He and Kadaj are facing the enemy with their weapons pointed at said enemy.
Dusk to Dawn Co-Op Event
Dusk to Dawn is the last co-op event in DFFOO. This event consists of 3 sets of different quests.
Below is a pic of the Soul Caged by Dawn Shinryu quest co-op Party screen.
I've opted to solo this co-op so all the chars shown are from my party. These chars are Sephiroth, Kadaj, and Weiss. All 3 are as fully built and maxed out as they can possibly be.
Sephiroth is equipped with Cid Raines's (from Final Fantasy XIII) Call Ability. Kadaj is equipped with Seymour Guado's (from Final Fantasy X) Call Ability. Weiss is equipped with Rydia's (from Final Fantasy IV) Call Ability. Brought Bahamut as my summon.
Below are some screenshots from the co-op fight itself:
This one shows that it's currently Weiss's turn.
The following skills or abilities can be seen in this pic:
BRV Attack++
Attack Up
Burst+
Empowered with Omega
Black White Emulsion
This pic shows Kadaj's turn.
The following skills or abilities can be seen in this pic:
Burial Hour
HP Attack++
Volley
Mayhem
Divinity
And that’s all. It's really too bad that I wasn't able to take more screenshots before the game ended forever. Sigh. Ah, well.
Conclusion
So what about you? What do you think about the news that DFFOO is ending its service on February 29, 2024? Did you pull for Zack Fair, Kadaj, and/or Weiss the Immaculate? Mog's Intermediate Trial Party Clear Screenshot with Sephiroth
This is a party clear screenshot of the Mog's Intermediate Trial quest.
It shows Sephiroth as well as the following information about him:
Level 90
Green Crystal Level 90
He's equipped with a Level 5 of 5 Greatsword Ultima Weapon
He's equipped with a Level 60/60 High Armor called Sephiroth's Boots (VII)
All of his Summon Boards and Character Enhancement Boards have been fully Mastered (M/M)
His Force Enhancements have been leveled up to 50
He's equipped with 3 Green Crystal Passives
He's equipped with Rydia's (from Final Fantasy IV) Call ability
There are icons indicating that Sephiroth has the passives from his Burst or BT weapon, his Force or FR weapon, his Limited or LD weapon, and his Ex weapon
He has 3 Active A Spheres: Edgar Roni Figaro’s (from Final Fantasy VI) Debuff Power, Cloud Strife’s (from Final Fantasy VII) Critical Power, and Vayne Carudas Solidor’s (from Final Fantasy XII) Broken Power
He's equipped with the following Artifact Passives: 3 Attack 108 with One-Winged Angel Boost★★ (Raises INT BRV, MAX BRV, ATK, DEF by 5% if HP is MAX at start of last wave)
The screenshot also shows that I had the Ifrit summon equipped when I did this fight. The score and Crystal Points are also listed alongside the number of turns it took to clear this fight.
Mog's Gym is a series of tutorial quests that are meant to teach players all about the different mechanics and such of this game.
Way, way back when the latest version of Mog's Gym was introduced in DFFOO, managed to clear a few of the Beginner quests. After that, opted to just not bother with the rest.
Mog's Gym was permanent so didn't feel the need to bother doing any of the quests there anytime soon even if they were all really easy.
When the game gave its end of service announcement, the Beginner and Intermediate versions of Mog's Gym were some of the few permanent quests that I had yet to finish. Since the game was gonna end soon, started working on completing all the quests in Mog's Gym already.
Sephiroth's Voice Lines
Sephiroth has a total of 7 voice lines in Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia. 3 of these lines can be obtained by completing the Char Boards for Sephi's 15cp, 35cp, and Ex. The rest can be bought from the Dissidia Points Shop.
Before DFFOO gave its end of service announcement news, already have all of Sephiroth's voice lines, all except for 2 that I haven't bought from the Dissidia Points Shop.
These are Sephiroth Line 1 and Sephiroth Line 3.
Sephiroth Line 1 says:
...Mother...it's almost time.
Sephiroth Line 3 says:
...Good boy.
Don't remember for sure now why I didn't bother to buy these lines from the shop because I actually bought everything else that's in there. Bought all the stickers and all the other voice lines that belong to other chars.
Soon, the only things that were left in the shop were the last 2 of Sephiroth's voice lines as well as the items that refresh every week (like the Power Stones) and the ones that have no limit (like gil).
Well, now that the game is ending soon, decided to finally buy these 2 voice lines.
The voice lines of chars can only be used in co-op quests.
Here is a list of all of Sephiroth's voice lines:
...Mother...it's almost time.
...It is time...
...Good boy.
I will meld with it all.
So how does it feel?
Ha, ha, ha…… Stop acting as if you are sad.
Shall I give you despair?
Sephiroth Character Guide
Well, the screenshot below says "Character Guide" but this is more of a profile or char description.
This one shows an image of Sephiroth to the left. The text on the right says:
Final Fantasy VII Sephiroth CV: Toshiyuki Morikawa A legendary SOLDIER operative known for numerous heroic feats. Though once a popular figure, after learning the nature of his birth and coming into contact with Jenova, he changes drastically, developing an unbridled hatred for the world and everything in it. Acting on behalf of Jenova, he works to lead the planet to ruin.
The screenshot below is basically the same as the one above except this one features Sephiroth in one of his costumes. This is Sephiroth's Extra Costume 1 and it shows him without his long, black coat.
The screenshot of Sephiroth's Character Guide also shows a "Play" button on the lower right corner. If you tap on said button, you'll be taken to a screen that lists all of Sephiroth's voice lines.
Tapping on any of these lines will allow you to hear Sephiroth say them.
Sephiroth Appearance Screen
The Appearance screen of a char in DFFOO shows all of their Character Costumes and all of their Weapon Glosses. Well, to be more precise, it shows all of the costumes and glosses that you have for each char.
Sephiroth has 2 costumes but I only have 1 of them so only his Extra Costume 1 is shown under Character Costumes.
Have all of Sephiroth's weapons so all of those show up under Weapon Glosses. The glosses for the Greatsword Ultima Weapon and the generic bronze and silver greatsword weapons are also available.
The screenshot above shows Sephiroth in his default outfit. The screenshots below show Sephiroth in his extra costume while equipped with different glosses.
Party and Allies Screen
The screenshot below shows the Party and Allies screen. In DFFOO, you can have up to 10 parties saved.
This pic shows Party 5/10. The chars in this party are Sephiroth, Aerith, and Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
All 3 are equipped with Level 5 of 5 Ultima Weapons (Greatsword for Sephiroth, Rod or Staff for Aerith, and Special or Unique for Kadaj). All 3 are equipped with their maxed out High Armors.
All of their Character Enhancement Boards and Summon Boards have been fully Mastered as can be seen via the M/M letters. The 50 on the blue circle indicates that their Force Enhancements have been leveled up to 50.
They also have 3 Crystal Passives equipped (indicated by the red circle for Aerith and Kadaj and the green circle for Sephiroth).
The summon equipped for this party is Ifrit. His Blessing is "Raises ATK by 30%".
Already completed the Crystal Room by now so have the max of 40 Crystal Points.
Since everyone has Force Enhancements Level 50/50, the Prolonged HP Damage Bonus is set to +45%.

All the High Armor listed above are fully maxed out. Sephiroth's 2nd armor has also been fully maxed out.
Every time I get a char's High Armor, I sell their 2nd armor and any other armor they have since they already have the passives from those and thus don't need them anymore.
But haven't bothered to sell Sephiroth's 2nd armor even though I already have his fully maxed High Armor and even though he's permanently equipped with said High Armor.
Instead, decided to just leave Sephiroth's 2nd armor in my inventory. In the end, never got 'round to selling it. LOL.
Sephiroth's Stickers
Sephiroth has a total of 5 stickers in Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia. These can be bought from the Dissidia Points Shop.
Already bought all of these stickers long before the game gave its end of service announcement. These stickers can only be used in co-op quests.
Sephiroth's stickers have the following text:
You called?
Good. Very good.
Well done.
That's far enough.
I will never be a memory.
The above screenshot showing Sephiroth's stickers also include the following stickers: Aerith's "Let's give it our best" and Tifa's "Hello!".
I have all of Sephiroth's stickers equipped basically permanently. But I usually change my other stickers.
Cactuar Cacophony Event
This is one of the last few events that was added to Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia after it gave its end of service announcement.
There are 3 quests in this event: Cactuar Cacophony I, Cactuar Cacophony II, and Cactuar Cacophony III. The difficulty level of all of these quests is listed as "???".
Cactuary Cacophony I has 1 enemy cactuar, Cactuar Cacophony II has 2 enemy cactuars, and Cactuar Cacophony III has 3 enemy cactuars. These enemies all have a "ridiculously high amount of HP".
These quests can be done on your own, but co-op versions are also available.
The only rewards for clearing these quests are gil. Since gil can easily be obtained in this game, didn't prioritize doing any of these quests.
Cactuar Cacophony I
So by the time I decided to try out Cactuar Cacophony I, it was already February 29, 2024, and there were only a few hours left before DFFOO was gonna end forever.
For now, decided to try the solo version of Cactuar Cacophony I. My team for this fight was Sephiroth, Kadaj, and Fujin from Final Fantasy VIII with Pandemonium as my summon.
My Calls were Prishe's from Final Fantasy XI, Aerith's, and Seymour Guado's from Final Fantasy X. Borrowed a friend support Aerith.
Sephiroth, Kadaj, and Fujin are all as fully maxed out and built as they can possibly be.
Once the fight began, just started setting up by using everyone's Calls and skills and such to apply all the necessary buffs and debuffs.
Was able to keep the cactuar from moving thanks to Fujin and Sephiroth.
After setting everything up, activated Fujin's Force ability. Can't remember for sure now if I used 1 or 2 Force Echoes or not but, either way, soon went into Sephiroth's Burst+ phase.
By then have 8 turns of force time left, the HP damage bonus was at 675%, and the cactuar was down to 95% HP.
By the time Sephiroth was about to cast Heaven's Light, his finishing Burst+ move, have 2 turns of force time left, the HP damage bonus was at 999%, and the enemy was down to 77% HP.
Sephiroth was able to deal lots of damage during his Burst+ mode thanks to the support from Fujin and the follow-up attacks from Kadaj.
Fujin also enabled everyone to initiate launches and she ensured that everyone always had lots of brave to dump during these launches.
When my force time eventually ended, just kept on having my chars spam their skills while waiting for my force gauge to be fully charged again.
I thought things were going very well. If this had been any other quest, the fight likely would have been over or nearly over by now.
But the problem was that the enemy here really does have a lot of HP so it feels like the battle's never gonna end.
Still have a few Force abilities I can use for this fight since I didn't use any or all my Force Echoes earlier but still. This felt like this would take me hours to do, and I didn't want to be doing this or the other Cactuar Cacophony quests before the game ends.
Wanted to take more screenshots of other parts of the game, do more co-op quests, etc before it's all over so I decided to just quit this fight.
When I did that, the cactuar was already down to 61% HP. My force gauge was fully charged back to 100% again, and, based on the screenshot below, it looks like I was about to use Sephiroth's Force ability, Black Conflict. Only have 1 use of it now so it looks like I used one as a Force Echo earlier.
If I had more time, pretty sure I could have cleared this fight eventually. Too bad I didn't get to try this even just a few days or so before the game ended. Ah, well.
And that’s it for now. There’s a few more screenshots but have to continue in another post because already reached the max limit of 30 pics per post in this one.
Conclusion
