im not even a jeff hater i just want him to die in one of two ways because it would be fun. here are my idea jeff deaths and the repercussions:

1 - Shauna kills Jeff in a heated moment where they're all stressed and crazy and confused. Callie is horrified but ultimately is convinced, somewhat, that it needed to happen due to Shauna crazy reasoning. Shauna and Callie's relationship goes from strained and struggling to connect to toxic and co-dependent. They both realise they're all they have left. They become closer than they have ever seen. It's easier for Callie to buy into her mother's delusions/whatever than to accept how fucked up the whole situation is and how heartbroken she is.

2 - due to Shauna's influence/manipulation or seeking her approval, Callie kills Jeff in a heated moment. She and Shauna are both heartbroken, because Callie obviously loved her dad and Shauna did care about him in a way, but it's easier for them to act like it needed to happen than to face reality. As above, they go from strained and struggling to understand each other to toxicly co-dependent and closer than ever. Shauna shows Callie love and approval that Callie has been seeking her whole life.

And where this culminates, I want Shauna to die either at Callie's hands, or protecting Callie. I want Callie to love her mother so much and ALMOST become exactly like her, but break the cycle at the last minute and kill her mother. And I want Shauna to understand why. Or I want Shauna to finally allow herself to fully feel and show love for her daughter at her last moments and sacrifice herself for her.

I am hesitant to make Shauna's storyline all about motherhood but honestly so much of it already is and it's not just about motherhood but like. Trauma and love. And I think her relationship with Callie is simply the ultimate way to show how broken she is from what she experienced in the wilderness.

And like Nat and Van, I want Shauna to experience at least a bit of that healing and goodness in her last moments, and I think allowing herself to actually love Callie would be one of the good ways to do it.

Like, don't get me wrong, I do NOT want Shauna to become a good mother. But I do want her to experience some form of healing, even if it's fucked up.

But first I want everything to get SO MUCH worse for them.

Wyll is so fucking funny and no amount of acknowledgement about this could ever be enough. He's literally walking around being so casually hilarious completely under-the-radar. He jokes that his father, the Grand Duke of Baldur's Gate, can't spell. He calls Astarion "Mister Fangs". He makes up storybook chapter names for his own fucking adventures. As a child he got chased by the Flaming Fist for stealing fruit, nearly drowned trying to find mermaids in the harbor, and almost successfully broke into the Counting House. He reads monster erotica, and is not ashamed to tell you about it. He ranks eating pudding among life's greatest moments. He will, without shame and completely unprompted, meow at you. He is 24 years old.

SPOILERS FOR WYLL'S QUESTLINE IN ACT THREE AND THE ULDER RAVENGARD STORYLINE

Playing BG3 again and

If you talk to Ulder ravengard at Gortash's coronation - when he is completely enthralled, not at all the man who raised Wyll, the puppet of the Absolute - he says

My Dearest boy. The Hells have touched you. But you've come to me -- just as Gortash said you would. A True Soul no less.

Father and son, unstoppable generals. You and your allies will usher in a new dawn.

And this is the first time Wyll has seen his dad since he was banished. The first time, and his father calls him his 'dearest boy' but he is enthralled.

His father - who is not his father but looks and sounds just like him - looks at Wyll who has been changed irrevocably, touched by the Hells, and says so fondly, so warmly, 'my Dearest boy. You have come to me.'

And it's not his Dad.

When ulder ravengard is free from the tadpole he looks at Wyll and he recoils. I don't know the exact dialogue, but he looks at his son - the Blade of Frontiers, who has risked life and limb to save him because above all else Wyll Ravengard is a hero, and he loves his dad - and he denounces him.

You have to show him memories to prove that his son is a good man. He looks at his boy and its not "What have they done to you" It's "What did you do to deserve this".

And even watching that hurts. Because even after everything Wyll has done, and a whole campaign full of memories, Ulder Ravengard does not call him his Dearest boy.

Wyll only gets that when it's not his father.

Then you meet a guy. He's funny and makes you feel young, and he's devoted to you the way she was. And that rotting wound begins to seal up. But you grow suspicious, and those months of fear fog your mind, and your scared, so you do what you know best. You bite. And now he's dead. And the wound is open again.
