the initial criticism of women being “pick-me” for putting down other women and performing femininity to appeal to men turning into calling any woman who critiques the performance of femininity a “pick me” and “not a girls girl” is such a fucking psyop

i would love a book that's just a whole retrospective on how radical feminism became so demonized. i mean we know how but like if there was a full post mortem on how we went from just being seen as loud, hairy and annoying to literally the most evil women on earth, i think it'd be a good way to counter some of the propaganda.

This is the end result of anti-trans propaganda: more harassment of girls and women, more policing of gender roles, more gender McCarthyism.

Okay but as soon as I see that a piece of art was made by a man I'm not impressed

While white women definitely have and continue to use their white privilege against oppressed ethnic groups, calling these acts “white feminism” feels inaccurate as these women often use their privilege by aligning with white supremacist or simply racist white men or by upholding some sort of “trad” standard for women, both of which are inherently anti women. Calling it white feminism feels like propaganda against feminism. It’s women’s white nationalism or supremacism. I much prefer right wing feminism as well, though I hesitate to call it feminism at all.

As a society we're reluctant to call fathers out for what they are, which is usually the biggest threat to their own children. The way society values and protects fathers at all costs, comes at the cost of child abuse.

Legit feel like it’s the first time I see this opinion on a relatively mainstream account and it actually got me emotional. This is a tremendously good sign, we’re finally getting fucking nuance in the discourse and moving away from vapid identity politics.

The idea that the biological father of a fetus should get a say in whether the mother gets an abortion is absolutely ludicrous.
The male reproductive role is ejaculation. It is up to a man to decide whether or not he wants to ejaculate in a woman. A woman should not be able to force a non-consenting man to ejaculate in her because that would be a violation of his bodily autonomy.
The female reproductive role is pregnancy and birth. It is up to a woman to decide whether or not she wants to carry a pregnancy to term and give birth. A man should not be able to force a non-consenting woman to carry his child because that would be a violation of her bodily autonomy.
As a man, it is up to you to make your own decisions about your own body. If you don’t want a woman to abort your biological child, it is up to you to choose not to ejaculate in a woman who would choose to have an abortion if she became pregnant. Because after you’ve ejaculated, the situation is out of your hands. You’ve fulfilled your reproductive role, now it’s the woman’s decision whether she wants to continue hers. It’s not your business anymore. It doesn’t matter that your sperm fertilized the egg. You made the decision to ejaculate in someone else, if you are unhappy with the consequences of your decision, that’s your own fault and no one else’s.

too many people think intersectional feminism means “being a woman is not oppression by itself, only when it’s combined with a different oppression” instead of “misogyny intersects with other oppressions to alter and intensify the nature of the daily terrorism all women face”

“teehee the trads are just into d/s 🤭” i mean i hate how violent misogyny is a joke to you but i do appreciate your accidental acknowledgment that certain kinks are largely rooted in the same misogynistic ideals as heteropatriarchy at it’s most extreme. not that i would ever expect you to reflect on that.
