A little Anti theory a day late

As soon as Chase caught sight of him in Dark Silence, what does Anti do?

He rushes straight at the camera (at Chase).

The next time we hear from Chase, on Discord, he says, “I can’t see.”

What if looking directly at the demon, at the nightmare, blinded him? 

There’s been a cloudy effect in Jack’s eyes recently, similar to a blind person’s eyes.

And in QTGTW, we have nowhere to look but him.

That was a test of how long he could hold our eyes and attention. As we know from his PAX appearance and his “YOU STOPPED PAYING ATTENTION!” line, he gets pretty pissed off when we get careless. 

Perhaps he’s trying to blind us too – to the Egos’ helplessness, to reality, to time’s brokenness, to his true nature, to his plans…Who knows? The one thing we’ve always been sure of is that he needs our eyes.

A bit of theory:

Feels like Marvin used some kind of ritual to see the past/future in the orb thingy, and he might have seen himself turn evil. The red eye glitches make me very sus.

Well, Marvin’s appearance was short, but it was neat ^^

It’s interesting to note that he gasped and jerked back when he saw Anti’s chaos. I don’t think that would be the reaction of someone working with him.

Also interesting to note (though I might have just overlooked it) that we didn’t see any vision of Jameson. Chase and Schneep were prominent, but we already know how important they are to the story. I wonder how big of a player JJ will be in the future.

so, me and some friends are theorizing, and we noticed something

we found a periodic table that PERFECTLY matches the one in marv’s spell book (minus the bottom rows)

…except for one element

Some Thoughts/Notes on Argentum Inanis

Because if I don’t yell somewhere I will have an aneurysm.  Anyway I don’t have enough to make a full theory but here are some things I noticed and thought were interesting as well as a couple small theories I have on what the fuck is going on: -Description’s last line reads “don’t make eye contact”. What are we supposed to not make eye contact with? Is this referring to Anti, or what Anti is? Does this mean Anti can canonically use forms of mind control? It would make his statements about us being puppets make more sense, and the whole “you passed the test, let’s move on to the next phase” vid….a lot more concerning. -Page in the book that has a note at the top reading “IRIS = Antimatter”. Antimatter can be concerning for obvious reasons. IRIS is likely a Simulacra/Sara is Missing reference. Potentially, this could be a hint to Anti being like a sort of Simulacra-like thing.  -Argentum Inanis is most likely the black orb. Based on the visions seen inside of it that orb is most likely a scrying orb: an object used to see visions of the past, present, or future. This makes this video INCREDIBLY crucial in terms of where its placed on the timeline, because it can alter Marvin’s role as a character in the story.

       •Assuming the visions are all in the past could mean he’s already connected to Anti in some way. Those may have been past events he was involved in. He pulls back from the orb at the end because he knows he fucked up, and he’s scared of what could happen in the future.        •Assuming the visions are all in the future means he’s seeing a prediction. This means he may be planning to try and stop it (ie those scenes in Mayhem where Marvin was trying to get Jack to wake up, perhaps)        •However, it’s more likely this is a combination of past, present, and future. Assuming everything’s in chronological order (since time is broken and we can’t trust anything ig) then the Anti stuff we’ve seen before is most likely in the past, the scene of Chase and Henrik are most likely in the present, and that one scene with Marvin and the orb…is the future. The implications of that scene could be pretty concerning, especially given the section on Antimatter being on the page next to the one on the orb. -The scene involving Marvin and the orb on its own, as some users already pointed out, could be a sign of Anti getting to him. That’s worrying esp if it takes place in the future. -The portal/spiral/thingie shows up at the end again. Still unsure of what the fuck it is, but I still think it’s some sort of portal thing. A connection. The thing that will eventually bring these seemingly disconnected characters into one place.

Henrik says “what is this”, meaning he doesn’t know what’s going on, but he knows it’s something, and a moment later the portal/wormhole thingy opened up on his computer and literally dragged us into it.

And what do we get at the end of it?

The same god damn noise that sounds when Chase is teleported.

Don’t Make Eye Contact
