Interesting point about beasts I saw once in referral to Shadow Milk is the objectification of them: they're not Cookies, they're Gods, they're Concepts, they're Objects that bring the cookiekind what they Want. And while it's an understandable stance to take - Beasts ARE Gods, after all - they're still very much Also people, with their desires, pains, and emotions.
