Call For Help

Hello!

I’m trying to raise $200 for my meds and I’m hoping for your kind help and consideration.

As some of you might know, I joined a Fanfiction Contest and ultimately got ghosted by the creator of said contest.

The creator posted the guidelines late December of 2017. I entered the contest which was set to end by March 12 2018.

By late January, some reader nessaged ne telling me to check with the creator because they don’t see other entries posted . So I confronted the creator brcause at that time,I was done with Chapter 10 (out of 15) of my two entries. She told ne that there were other writers who entered. A few days later she messaged me that the others dropped out and if I finished the stories by March 12, she will give me the $300 pot prize for the 2 stories.

Iwas hesitant so I asked for proof that she hasn’t conned me. She fronted $50 on Feb. 19 ( a week late from the initial date she set) as proof that she was legit with the rule that the rest of the prize will be given on March 12th 2018 because she didn’t want to give all the pot money for a 67% completion of the entries. So I agreed that I will finish the remaining chapters to receive the remaining 80% of the money.

Fast forward to March 11th and I released the rest of the chapters and completed the stories. I messaged her to inform her that I did my part but once more she won’t reply.

On March 20, she messaged me to inforn me that she had been hospitaalized due to the stress of losing someone. She said she was sorry but that she will get me the prize. She just doesn’t know when or how soon.

I asked her if she can release a note or a public apology and she said she would. But it’s April 19 2018 now and she ghosted me again. No update whatsoever.

It would have been fine if I don’t need the prize. But I do have medical needs and I still can'go back to my regular job after my cardiac arrest and subsequent hypoxic anocic brain injury. I was really counting on the promised $250 for a month’s worth of meds and labs. As of now, I work from home as a tutor for grade school kids but it’s not enough to cover my needs.

Someone suggested in March that I opened a Patreon account and I did. 3 people donated and I received a net of $28 (less the charges) and another $28 from a reader (roaringfaith). I posted screenshots of the Patreon donation page on my Tumblr. So all in all, I got about $56 from 4 readers and I’m still about $200 short.

Need a tiiiny bit of assistance

Maybe like $30-$40 at best. These are my last three days in the shop (WHICH IS AWESOME). I had to move out and go to occasional glassblowing at a friends house. Too much pain and very little stamina for me to keep going full time and justify racking up $130 a week to rent bench space. Chronic Illness is a bitch.

Got a dry fridge though/need some grub for these last mega shifts and need to commute! Then its overrrrr!!

日本科学未来館 小さい時に行った未来館は無限に展示室が続いているような気がしていたけどそんなことはなかった笑
展示の仕方が今の時代に合わせて変化していて小さい子はこういうのみるだけでもわくわくするんだろうなと
実際客層も小さい子とそのご両親という組み合わせが多くて大学生はあまりいなかった 科博の方が幅広い年代の人が楽しめるかも
生きものになれる展を目当てに来ている人が多かった 子ども向けだろうけど私もやりたい… これからしばらく���博物館めぐりできなさそう😔
