Ich stelle mir gerade vor, wie es für Justus', Peters und Bobs Mitschüler ist. Imagine ne Jahrgangsparty. Man spielt Never have I ever. Und am Anfang sind nur die drei irgendwie weird - Justus ist dran und kommt mit sowas wie "Never have I ever been hypnotized more than once." Und alle anderen denken sich so "okay first of all, warum musst du 'more than once' spezifizieren?! und zweitens - BOB WARUM TRINKST DU?!"

Und dann steigen die Mitschüler irgendwann ein, denken sich die most outlandish Sachen aus um zu gucken, was passiert...

"Never have I ever joined a cult." Alle drei gucken sich an, verziehen das Gesicht, trinken.

"Never have I ever been arrested." Justus trinkt, Peter trinkt, Bob guckt für zehn Sekunden als würde er verzweifelt nachdenken, dann zuckt er mit den Schultern und trinkt auch.

"Never have I ever been in mortal danger." Alle drei gucken sich an, lachen, und leeren ihre Gläser.

"Never have I ever lost my memory", wirft Peter ein. Bob verzieht das Gesicht und nimmt zwei Schlucke.

"Never have I ever seen a dead body." Peter und Bob trinken, Justus fängt an, zu diskutieren, ob Skelette als Leichen gelten und wie lange jemand tot sein muss um nicht mehr zu zählen.

Letzte Frage: "Never have I ever blackmailed the CIA", sagt Justus, alle drei lachen, trinken, stehen auf und gehen ohne weitere Erklärung nach Hause.

For therapy, I analyzed every weight-trigger im the ???/three Investigators-audiobooks from episode 77 to 117 and it's SO fucked up, I can't even...

It breaks down to

*your body limits yourself and those arround you

*this is your own fault, because you didn't assert enough self-control

*you are greedy and selfish, which is embarassing for everyone arround you

*it is my right to make you object of my entertainment because of the way you look

*it is my right to tell you, what and what not and how much to eat

*you have to hide your body, or you'll be rejected

*the way you look gives me information about negative charactertraits I'm certain you have

*everything you do is tied to how your body looks.

*this is your own fault

And the only character to ever even questions this the slightest is Brittany who is outright evil, emotionally manipulative and thus not reliable...

I love ??? as much as anyone, but please be mindful of what you consume. Please, don't just skip over shit like that, without reflecting on how it influences your view on yourself and the world!

sometimes I see people explain qprs as the 'nonbinary of relationships', and I think the comparison of relationships to gender works in more ways than people realise.

like... an established binary (man/woman) (platonic/romantic) in which certain behavoirs are seen to correspond to options within that binary (wearing a skirt as feminine) (kissing as inherently romantic), and though the distinction between these options seems very important to people, no-one is actually able to pinpoint exactly what seperates them (watch anyone try to define 'what is a woman') (watch anyone try to define what romantic attraction is).

I'm sure there are more ways to compare the two, but hopefully this is... legible. it's kind of feeling like a 'I've connected the dots' 'you didn't connect shit' scenario, ngl.
