let’s just come out here I am an ESL teacher for adults and I ghosted one of my students only because I kinda fell for him super hard. He was near my age and really cool from russia— super jacked, a professional diver and he raced dirt bikes. He was really silly and little insecure. But then I found out he had a wife and kid he was finally able to bring over from Russia so I stopped teaching him. He reached out to me some months later to be his translator for a course he created…but I knew I couldn’t work with him on a project one on one like that without catching feelings again and I couldn’t rightfully take his money.
