#5: this is my goodbye

Almost a year later and after a lot of emotions I've come to terms with you. I found these pictures of you and I can only feel love and appreciation for your time and effort with me.

Maybe we weren't meant to work out but I'm glad we tried. I realized the other day that we met almost 4 years ago, which is a hell of a long time, but we made the time we had memorable.

I have to as it that you went to my families Christmas dinner when I wasn't around, I felt left out and betrayed by them letting you reopen memories that were meant to be kept safe but later I realized in glad you went and hope you had a good time like you used to.

I do hope we meet again in the future, minimum to know you're doing fine. Hope you find love and happiness in this new year. I can only wish you the best.

I do miss our spontaneity and insane curiosity but it's something I charish in my memories forever.

Be safe, eat healthy and enjoy life, that's my 2020 wish for you.

Today I went shopping and I felt weird not showing you to see if you would like them or to make me feel pretty. I missed going shopping with you and just hearing your voice or holding your hand.

#2 I saw you again after thinking I wouldn’t be able to.

Yesterday you came to the beach house and it was the best goodbye I could’ve gotten. We enjoyed each others presence where we met 3 years ago.

Time went by so fast that I don’t even know where it could’ve gone but I’m glad that the last moments I had with you were the most pure and beautiful of them all.

I will always say it when somebody asks me. “You were and still are the love of my life” and nobody can change that. Thank you for being so kind with my family like always and for making me feel like him. I’ve always knew you’d be my home.

I’ll remember you every time I see a cargo ship cause you know how much I loved them. Stay safe wherever you wonder and enjoy life.

life works out. i cannot stress this enough. life always works out. it always turns out in your favor even if it doesn’t go according to the original plan. you may be utterly confused and lost right now, it may feel like everything is falling apart and there is nothing you can do to salvage any of it. but believe me when i say that this is just a transition period. things are constantly changing and evolving around you even if you can’t actively see that. life is changing you to prepare you for what is to come. you are growing and as you grow you are being built into the person that you are going to be. because see, life always has this funny way of working out.

First time seeing you again after breaking up and being apart.

It was one of the most mixed emotion days I’ve ever experienced. I thought I was over you and that you were just someone that used to be in my life but I realized that I still wanted you with me even though everything that happened.

I realized you had the smile that I wanted to like at forever, the laughter that I wanted to hear always and the arms I wanted to be curreled up from now on.

I had never experienced these mixed emotions so I must confess that I was scared to express them but I’m glad due to that helping me know that my sanity is in place.

Thank you for telling me everything you felt too. I felt like we owed us that.

I’m sad that I won’t get to see you again for a very long period, but know that you will always be the love of my life. The one that got away.
