Like one body with the students of Gaza.

The war destroyed everything, but in Gaza, we learned that we don't abandon each other.

all babies are supposed to live under a proper roof with their loved ones doting on them and giving them proper nutrition and lots of love so that they remain healthy and happy and safe. a baby isn't supposed to live in a tent battling a respiratory problem without baby formula while bombs are dropping around him.

this is the unfortunate reality of my friend suad's baby boy, khaled, who is so young and is going through so much. he was born in this genocide and doesn't know what peace is.

I don't have the patience to write a post now. In fact I don't know what the fuck I should write after nineteen months of genocide. Everyday, these past few days I have been reading that "Israel" is bombing and killing more and more people- that they are targeting ambulances and children. My friends in Gaza are so scared. I feel helpless and I am disgusted by it, because wtf am I feeling helpless about, when I am not facing the bombs and I am not starving in this summer heat?

Last night I was talking to Siraj Abudayeh. Siraj is not doing well- he is sad and he feels hopeless and this is someone whom in the short time I have known, has always chosen to be optimistic about the future where he along with his community, rebuilds Gaza. But right now he cannot think of any of it, and this is because the free world, the international order, everything has proven itself to be nothing but a lie. Last night we didn't talk about the future, we didn't talk about the campaign. Instead Siraj has urged everyone to pray for Gaza. So I want you to keep Siraj in your thoughts, pray for him and his family's safety. And I also want you all to believe that Siraj will one day see a Free Palestine. That the funds he is collecting would go into rebuilding his life. So please donate. And boost. Don't let this fundraiser lag behind.

They first disabled my old blog in such a way that I couldn't tag or reach out to people to campaign for myself. Then the moderators of this app deleted the same old blog, where most of my friends were following me and where I had over 1k followers. I couldn't even mourn the blog, through which I was in contact with so many wonderful friends. I had to make a new one to once again try to campaign for my family's survival, and now again they have banned me!!

This is a strange world to live in, where they want us to quietly accept our own genocide. These moderators sit in their air conditioned offices to silence our voices, while we have lost all means to support ourselves. I was once a journalist, I was planning on getting a Phd to try and advance my career so that I could give a better life to my children. Is it fair that I now spend all my time on this application to try and get a donation? Is this just that I am not even allowed to scream into the world while my life is being destroyed???? I do not know what else to say, I only to request you to grant me some dignity, please. This much I can demand of the free world.
