est.  1935.     a    horror   /  slasher   themed  summer  camp  group  verse.

it’s  the  summer  of  1985  and  it’s  been  years  since  the  camp  has  had  any  proof  that  the  legends  are  true,  years  since  anyone  went  missing  in  the  woods  of  camp  crystal  lake.  in  fact,  some  claim  it  to   be  nothing  but  a  tale  counselors  told  to  scare  campers,  they  say  no  one  really  believes  anything  ever  actually  happened  there.  but  every  year,  there  are  new  stories  told  in  excited,  hushed  voices.  told  by  those  few  campers  who  sneak  out  after  dark  and  brave  the  night,  giddy  and  full  of  adrenaline  as  they  search  for  ghosts  and  signs  of  the  legend’s  truth.  said  to  date  all  the  way  back  to  the  second  summer  of  camp  there  are  spirits  surrounding  the  property,  joined  by  a  missing  camper  that  was  never  found,  searching  for  revenge  toward  the  campers  who  tormented  him  during  his  time  there.  who  is  said  to  have  died  in  a  horrible  joke  gone  wrong.  legend  says  that  he  is  bound  within  the  forest’s  lining  during  at  dawn,  but  free  to  roam  in  more  populated  camp  areas  at  dusk.  there  are  new  campers  here  now,  in  the  first  reopening  of  the  camp  due  to  renovation  since  1978.  along  with  the  counselors  and  staff  whose  job  it  is  to  make  sure  everything  runs  smoothly  .  .  .

what  they  don’t  know  is  that  the  stories  are  true.  

and  that  he  might  be  back.
