It's amazing how right after a bunch of conspiracy theories get proven true one after the other...the messages that droves of "prophets" have from God sound like they just read my blog. Weird how God waits for stuff to be in the alt news cycle before telling us about it huh.
The false prophets and pseudo spiritual grifters have figured out they can plagiarize from conspiracy theories and they are more likely to come true than just blind guessing about stuff and let me tell you they are running with it.
It's actually really smart and really evil because they do so much damage in one go. They delegitimize real conspiracies by tying them to people who say cazy stuff and make lots of predictions that never come true. They use the credibility from conspiracies that do come true to trick Christians into thinking they speak for God, so they can lead them astray and collect money from them. And it destroys the faith of everyone around them, they hear their loved one proclaiming God said this and that would happen...and then it doesn't and they make God look like a liar to people who don't realize these messages are from people who likely are not even Christians at all.

Statist: But without the government, who would do this thing?
Anarchist: The government doesn't actually do that in any way that matters. Also they forbid anyone else to do it, so it doesn't get done.
Statist: But without the government, who would do it?
Anarchist: You would, since the government's not stopping you anymore.
Statist: But seriously, who would do it?
Anarchist: You.
Statist: So you're saying no one would do it, seems like a bad deal, I'll stick with the government so that it gets done.

you laugh but this is how a lot of scientific claims work. This is basically how the global warming grift was sold for a long time.

people assume good faith too much and expect that their experience is universal. That blog you are arguing with that is dedicated to arguing one side of the thing at the forefront of the media narrative is a bot or a fed only there to do propaganda. It's some media matters intern or some shit stop talking to them like they're people.

science and religion are incompatible is something that the church of scientism likes to say because their beliefs are not actually scientific and in order to maintain them and avoid acknowledging a spiritual element to existence they have to pretend that there is no basis for religion besides blind faith because that makes them feel better and smarter for... (as SOAD would say) failing to recognize the single most potent element of human existence.
If you say "religion and science are contradictory" I don't trust your opinion on either

"Just comply or you deserve everything they do to you including being murdered" - freedom loving conservatives
Sorry but “if you resist arrest you deserve anything the cops do to you” is SO FUNNY coming from the “subversive snake flag don’t tread on me” people
Like fuck you dude lol, I hope you get beat up by a cop the next time they decide to lock you down for not getting jabbed or whatever
You fucking deserve it

b...b..b.but it's a comrpomise position between two arbitrary extremes that I decided on...that means it's correct and I'm right....right? Nothing extreme is ever correct all truth is a compromise.
This is why I sometimes advocate positions more extreme than even I believe in...so many people will get more rational just by shifting the overton window because this is legit how people think.

If you applied the way childfree people talk about children to almost any other group it would be apparent to the people it's not already apparent to how spiteful and entitled they are. It's especially hilarious that it's mostly libs that are like that because the exact arguments they use they would want people launched into the sun for saying.
Like imagine people were openly saying stuff like...Indian people are gross, they smell bad, the way they talk and act annoy me, I don't like looking at or being around them It's just a personal choice but there should be indian free spaces because it shouldn't have to be my problem that indian people decided to breed and then got on a plane. It's great if you like indian people, go to indian and enjoy all the indian stuff you want I don't care just keep it away from me. An Indian sat next to me on a bus and it ruined my whole day, they just yelled punjabi into their phone for the whole ride.
That's an objectively hilarious example I can kind of get behind but you know what I mean. You're allowed to not like stuff/people but when it's a seething hatred that you think justifies an entitlement to not have to be around them ever, you're cringe and an ass hole.
You don't want to have kids, that's fine not everyone should be having kids. But being "childfree" is a whole other thing and you should feel bad about that.

This is how the government gets away with so much evil, they train and radicalize mass shooters give them guns and sit back and let it happen so they can go on tv and tell you to disarm yourselves if you don't want more dead chidlren, then they kill a guy for trying to sell something they can't effectively steal a cut from and instead of being mad about all of it collectively, people are arguing over which race does or does not get better treatment each side of the aisle taking turns bootlicking in different scenarios based purely on the optics and current posturing. Each side hoping to weaponize the evils of the state against the other while it grows and oppresses everyone more and more every day.
Gay thread everyone, bad job.

I would be more fine with HOAs if it was that instead of government, like it would still suck but it at least wouldn't be more government on top of government on top of government.
Conservatives hating on HOAs is kinda funny because that's the smallest, localest government you're ever gonna get and look how it works out.

I think part of an education should be learning the basics of how to interact with children. I think most of the reason some people hate kids so much is they're just giant anxious pussies who don't understand how to interact with them.
children existing in public spaces is genuinely like. necessary for the continuation of society. it doesnt have to be your kids you dont have to volunteer at a daycare or whatever but you need to be able to tolerate the presence of someone who is learning how to exist as a human and interact with people

So when we later find out people are being arrested for starting wildfires...and then the government comes out and warns that we are about to have a catastrophic "wildfire season" should we be taking that as a threat.
People will live their whole lives never experiencing one smoky wildfire but the moment the news starts throwing terms like wildfire season around and lighting them every year people will start acting like it's just a fact of life and has always been that way.
