"Is something wrong, Anna?"

  “Elsa…?”

"No! You don't look bad, you look adorable, actually. It's just different. I'm not used to seeing you like this."

“I’m awesome.. and you hesitated..”  He said shocked and looked down at his body “Do I look bad?” He asked with a frown.

It did explain everything. Elsa ran a hand through her hair, letting out a deep sigh. It was a difficult position for Elsa. She had watched her daughter work to get to where she was, had supported her every step of the way. But there was no way Annelise could compete with the bad ankle.

"You have to pull out of the competition, Lisey."

Bingo. Got it in one.

"It’s qualifiers…" She said it as if those two words explained everything. And they did…for the most part. If she didn’t compete this weekend that was it. Her season was over and she’d have to wait til next year. She couldn’t…she had worked too hard to just give it all up. Her mother had to understand that.

When he eventually pulled away from the hug, Olaf said “I missed you too! You okay?”

Elsa crossed her arms over her chest, taking a step toward her daughter. She had always known there would be a day when Annelise would attempt to leave. Despite everything that Elsa had taught her. It was inevitable. "It's late. And there's a storm. You shouldn't be out."

Granted, she was the one controlling the storm, but that didn't make the statement any less true. "Go back to your room, Annelise."
