So, y’know, in the beginning I was really indecisive about what lore to give my clan… I wanted them to be archeologists, but I wanted them to be engineers, but I wanted a merchant city… Until at one point I just decided to combine it all and everytime I come up with something new I work it in somehow.

So what I wanted to say is that if you ever think your clan lore is too generic, too over-the-top, too much in general: It’s not. Just do it. Let your dragons be pirate samurai ninjas in space. Who will judge? Give yourself everything you want because its your lore, and it’s supposed to make you happy!

hello!!! im sorry youre not feeling well, heres some of my dragons:

Budwing is the matriarch of my clan, and although she is VERY out of her element being in the plague territories, her friends help her through and she knows that even though she might face scrutiny she can always escape it through her buds.

Rune is a drowsy and timid dragon who prefers to keep to herself. She enjoys fire dragons because theyre VERY toasty. She’s also a bit of an outcast!

Yogurt loves to decorate and styalise things! she gets a little messy sometimes but its fine because she puts her best into it

Jesse is a playful little sprite who likes the pull pranks and make fun, she leads lost souls down from mountains!

Zayanard is a scam artist that makes others think he’s some sort of ‘master of all elements’ when he’s just VERY good at ice illusions! talented but will rob you I AM a long lurker of yours and i really hope you feel better!

Uh… In dire need of some dragon therapy here, so if you could show me your very favourite dragons, that would be nice :’)) Especially if they’re soft! And feel free to include as much information as you want! I need to be distracted right now!

go through dragon search and see if you can find the “rarest” dragon in your lair. i’ve just been searching by colors alone, and i’ve already found two that are completely unique, both among active and exalted.

(goldenrod/lead/cyan and copper/lead/turquoise respectively)

and i am tickled to NO END that they’re both skinkspin lead-secondary noodle boys

anyways you should reblog with your rarest dragon because uhhh i wanna see weirdos and also prove that just because a color combo is rare doesn’t automatically mean it must be gross.

It’s especially funny when you remember that Tundra have the memory of a goldfish, cause like.

Imagine being Icewarden, you just brewed up a hot batch of dragons, shiny and new and ready to serve Your Glory, you address them all, address your mass of fluffy children, and for now, they are your PRIDE, they are your JOY, they are going to do WONDERS, you give them your godly lecture on history and preservation and how to survive in the ice, you release them into the world-

And about a week later they’re all flailing about because they’ve forgotten the entire thing. Half of them don’t even remember who you are. One of them has swallowed eight rocks because they’ve forgotten what a plant is. You realize that somewhere down the line, you fucked up. You think about your brothers and sisters in their other lands, creating their wonderful children who can actually remember how to function in a society.

Eventually your children pull themselves together and make a habit of surviving, because habits are stronger than memories, but you’re already humiliated. Sure, you can keep addressing them en masse, but what’s the point? They’ll forget it in three days anyway. You go home to sulk. Flamecaller didn’t have this sort of trouble, and all she made were fat snakes that hum.
