It's been 7 months since I first saw fleabag season 2 and I'm still thinking about the priest noticing her asides and what that means, and how the ending when she walks away and doesn't let us follow works so well because now that she has been well and truly seen and loved by someone she doesn't need the validation of an invisible audience anymore....still much to think about

being in your youth can be so agonizing like the world is burning and the US is doing god knows what and one million other terrible things are happening and you’re so overworked and exhausted that all you can do is buy your groceries with reusable bags and skim headlines knowing vaguely that they’re prophecies of terror and feel ashamed you don’t know more than you do but your mental health is already so bad you just have to take your 10 minutes off to try to scrape together some meaning and peace as it all starts to crumble around you and yet here in your home on your laptop you still have deadlines and the streets outside are quiet and you can’t breathe

i genuinely can’t think about millie bobby brown it depresses me so much that nobody seems to be looking out for this child. she’s been forced to grow up far too quickly (you can argue all you want that young girls are free to dress how they please and wear makeup if they want, but it’s ignorant to act like she hasn’t been pressured to grow up and look older than she is at a young age), overworks herself to the point of exhaustion (millie literally passing out in finn’s arms during scenes because they’re so much for her isn’t great acting, ti’s genuinely upsetting and concerning) and expected to provide for her entire family and carry a whole show and absolutely nobody seems to be looking out for her as much as they should. it doesn’t matter how talented or famous she is, she’s still a child and it’s horrifying that so many adults that are supposed to be in her corner have repeatedly let her down. she’s a child. she deserves to look and act like one.

One thing nobody tells you about adulthood is how lonely it can be. Everyone is always working full time, your schedules never work around each other, and it becomes harder to make solid friendships. It’s no wonder so many people stay in boring or shitty relationships because at least you have someone to do things with. I’ve lately discovered the joys of doing things myself because I couldn’t just wait around for my friends to clear their schedules and I’ll be damned if I get into a bad relationship out of loneliness
